Being a child of the 1980s my introduction to Vincent happened to be Tilex commercials and this show that I discovered while clicking through the channels on a Friday night. The local PBS channel in Columbus (WOSU) used to air it on Friday nights at 8pm. I've long since become much more educated about his career but "Mystery!" and Tilex are responsible for my introduction to Vincent Price's career.
Gotta love the late great master of macabre Vincent Price in the twilight of his career. How can I purchase dvd hard copies of any and all episodes with these classic spooky intro/outros?
I'm very happy that you have enjoyed these. They take us back in time to when the series was airing on PBS--ah, those good old days. Thanks for your kind comment.
@ShiksaWithChutzpah1 Thanks, Shiksa, but I'm more of a princess among women. :) Very glad you enjoy these videos. They bring back good memories for me, too.
It's hard for me to watch the Grenada television series without these intros and outros. Gorey, Vincent Price... perfect!
Newjackfan, you sir are a prince among men. Thank you bunches for all the uploads!! Brings back very pleasant memories of PBS from my childhood :)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's a pleasure to finally share this footage. Thanks so much for your comment.
My father actually interviewed Wolf Kahler once on his radio show.
I think that Sir Christopher Lee, The late Peter Cushing and Vincent Price were the 3 best macabre horror actors in the film/cinema world.

This show was never the same after Vincent Price retired.

I always loved the well read host of mysteries. Vincent was par excellance! Diana Rigg took over after Price's death but she was not as effective.
@@ekaterinalekkas2356 tell me something I dont know
WGBH Boston in the 1980s had some awesome programming.

"Oh, the cause is excellent."
I think this was the first of the series, at least on Mystery.
@cubsrule2040 1985, according to the copyright date.

What year was this from?
I think it was about 1985 or so. I remember watching these on Mystery back then.
