  • This was a commission work to paint two dogs for the owner from given references. Painted in one day sitting. There is a lot of important footage missing by accidentally deleting it from a memory card.
I use epoxy resin to coat the finished work

Hey, love the video! If I may ask, was the wood prepared/treated in any way before painting?

absolutely stunning like always! may I ask what that marvellous pen is that you use for cleaning up the line work on the tracing paper? (like at @1:24) it looks sooo smooth. All the best x x

From the lettering visible in some frames it should be a 'Faber-Castell Grip 1345 mechanical pencil, 0.5 mm'.

Do the colours fade away on plywood after long period of time? Should we use a varnish on top of painting?

  • @fanfanfare

Very nice! How long did you let the paint dry before putting the epoxy on, if I may ask?

i would really like to see you doing a copper engraved printing.
your press should provide enough force.
    i mean like aquatinta engravings

Yes, I run out of copy paper, all the shops are closed because of lockdown, made quick graphite paper from 6B pencil.
