onion - 2 medium chopped
ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
green chillies - 5
curry leaves
red chilli powder - 2 teaspoon
coriander powder - 1.5 teaspoon
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
powder of cumin coriander mustard and fenugreek seeds

In Nellore hotels, the gravy tends to be thick in some, and some hotel make it runny. Also, the ratio of Jeera & mustard (for the secret powder) should be half of coriander seeds. Mustard and Jeera propotions are higher in Bengali fish curries.
Coriander leaves should be granished fairly less, as the curry has a tendency to inch towards tasting like a rasam.
Great finished product ! ... and its presentation. I will surely try this variant.

This Madras fish curry I have tested in Indian Restaurant in Russia and France... They add red dry chilly great recipe ☺👍🏻
But if you didn't add tamarind then it would be spicy. It's spicy but beside of spicy it's sour.
For this sourness south Indian are not tasty.
