Today we’re at Race Wars UK half mile rolling start at 40mph before My car goes back to giz Motorsport thought it would be a good idea to test the car out on the rolling launch with no boost by gear or any fancy gizmos so we can see the difference with full boost obviously I’m gonna have no traction lol but once it goes back to have boost by gear and other stuff finally done I’ll be coming back next year with it all finished and we will see the difference

my son after the dyno session is annoyed, although his car made 340hp, he wasnt told until the car was off the dyno that because his car hasn't got cruise control he couldn't have the switchable maps, i asked if it could be put on the sport button and was told no, didn't even get a price reduction, so no pops and bangs which he wanted, i suppose its down to getting the right tuner, love to hear your views on this
@@RacinRitchieyt first of all where did he take it to get it mapped and if he gets the cruise control stalk and you’re nearby I can program it in for you. Hopefully you could take it back and see if they will put adjustable maps on the cruise control for you

@@ARDEN440i yes mate, I do but at the moment I’m running a full 2 bar of boost from the go it’s going back to have the boost by gears done very soon
@@Vinnievxr666I used to have an Astra J VXR for 4 years, and I have a couple of shorts clips of it racing an Astra H VXR. Absolutely loved it to bits, so efficient by putting the power down, but it was a tad too heavy for my liking. Can't wait to see you get the boost by gear done, I reckon you'd beat most cars you raced once that's sorted. Good luck 👍🏾
you need to start in 3rd gear vinn . your wasting time at the start spinning in second
Too much lag at 40mph to be in 3rd, needs boost by gear set up on the ecu blackmaster. He's running full boost from the get go the nutter 😂😂
@@RacinRitchieyt yeah I did actually try that but it just bogged out mate but hopefully next year will be better with it all set up properly and my drag tyres sorted out
@@Vinnievxr666 probably not the best way to do it but 3rd with a slip of the clutch to get it on boost, clutch killer though
@@Vinnievxr666 or get the organisers to raise the start speed to 50
think it would do better with a better turbo an 18inch wheels
@@chrissingleton8473 yeah I have got the Garrett G30-660 and I’m going for 15s with drag tyres in a couple of weeks
