And yet another great video my friend 🤠👌 Thanks for sharing, that is pretty awesome kayak and I really like the pack. Looking forward to seeing the next videos... Safe travels and enjoy your day ✌️😎
wow loved the packraft equiptment! and the little blower you used to blow up raft. never seen one before. like you nsaid handy for when you want to go from place to place. will watch rest of series.
Like the way you use the coals for cooking. Simple nutritious food cooked in the open ... no better taste. Great unit with lots of pluses and good to watch how it all comes together. Thanks for vlog part 1. Bushyboy Oz.
Thanks Grumpy, yes, super cool 👍🏻. I don't collect stuff though. i give away or sell what i dont use. I do love trying new toys that seem useful for what i do, one of the perks of being a youtuber. Lotta fun. 👍🏻
Now this is cool! Really dig that you have that really compact touring paddle, for such a small craft. Must be a joy to paddle?! Enjoyed your video very much, thumbs up from Sweden!
Looking forward to see how stabil that packraft is in the water. And how you get in and out of it. Look perfect for my trips to Sweden in may. There is a lot of small lakes that iv wanted to explore for a long time. That thing might just do the job.
Good to see you again this time I was smart and cook a meal before I started watching and ate my lunch with you. That is a very interesting raft I like the internal storage option maybe you could do a review on that let us know what you think.
Hola Nagualero . Muy buena idea es acampar y después moverse , nos permiten una visión amplia del paisaje y los deportes que practicas .Saludos desde Argentina .
That was a very intriguing packraft; I wanted to know more so I went to their website to see the other variations. Frankly, I was a bit interested in the fishing or lake version. They seem to be reasonably priced. - Storage inside the tube! I never thought of that, I thought the tube was necessary for the max. floatation and I expected to see you have to put your pack between the legs or behind your seat. Does the use of the tube for storage affect the load capacity or balance? - Set up time - my guess for the first time it took 30 min or so? A person who has practised could probably set up in half that time. - The bag to inflate vs. the micro-electrical pump vs. a foot pump; the micro pump seemed to be quite efficient. - Entry/exit; how comfortable or easy was it for you? - How much freeboard did you have? With you and your gear - how close were you to the 300 # capacity? - Did you use the spray skirt on this? - What was the total weight impact for you? Packraft + pump + paddle + PFD + boat safety kit? In Canada for example, kayaks still have to carry a minimal safety kit (PFD, whistle, heaving line, bailer/pump, flares). - What was it like for heat transfer from you through the membrane to the water?
Those look good too. 1. Probably. Less air less boyancy but they do note a max load capacity of 136 kg. As long as you don’t go above that including your own weight all should be good. And that should have been tested with the tubes filled up I would imagine. I saw no difference when it was full or not, apart from when picking it up from the water and carrying it loaded. The main pack goes on top of the front part of the raft secured by straps. 2. Set up is quite quick if you watch how to videos. Few minutes really. Without them, yes half an hour probably. 3. I found it super easy and stable to get in compared to canoes or kayaks. Specially if you do it horse saddle style then put your legs in. They are very stable rafts in my opinion. 4. Myself, gear, food, painting gear + raft, around the 130 kilo mark give or take a kilo or two. 5. Micro or feather pump is the most practical and weights close to nothing. The raft inflates in seconds. But I will always carry the bag as well. I never trust electrical things 100% specially on water based trips 6. Yes when it was raining only 7. See number 4. including safety gear and food etc . on their website they have a full weight list for each part of the raft and gear 8. Definitely there is conductive heat loss if you don’t use a barrier of sorts betwwen yourself and the boats floor. The integrated inflatable seat does a great job insulating you from the water, never felt chilly or cold. They sell a full air deck but I just use my seat pad on my feet Great questions 👍
What's your review of this raft? I got the smaller version (the hornet) and I like it. But I am 5'11", 185 Lbs and it feels a bit small for my size. Let me know how you like your raft. Thank you.
love your channel ... I will buy one for sure cause I know you wouldn't use it and advertise it, if it made out of bad quality ...keep up the good work .. big fan from Arizona...
Thank you. I am trying it out, not telling anyone to buy it. if people want to try it with me cool. Quality it has but i will know for sure with time and hard use. Its an expensive asset, but i think for what i have seen so far, will be great for what i do. again, time will tell
@@NagualeroArt bit surprised it's just dangling there anyways? especially in a T shape, which seems to be more prone to actually snag on something. Should probably have some rubber T shaped 'sink' extending from the zipper end where one can push it in. More secure like that, and less prone to snagging. Dunno if they asked you for feedback, but if so, feel free to share that thought above ;)
R.I.P my brother I still love watching your videos

I just watch you Nag!
Simply mesmerising!
No music to ruin it, no talking, just the sounds of nature. Perfect.

How much does your pack weigh in total?
Hi mate, what is the model of this packraft, your link doesn’t work anymore, thanks
How do you portage with this?
😊👍
Do make sure that T-zipper-pull doesn't snag and you be mostly safe to go anywhere ;)
good point. better tape that zipper tag next time. did not think of that. thanks
