    I’m just a normal guy that loves maths, science and technology so coming across things like this just blows my mind. The genius of the guys who developed these things are insane

      That's what I'm saying! I am not sure how many times they gave themselves concussions banging their heads on their desk to make these methods what we know them as today. But I am glad we have them to use now!

    I really like how you go thru a problem in good detail in terms of showing all the algebra! Very good video!

      That's what my big goal has and will be! The concepts are "easy" to discuss on a conceptual level, not always easy or clear how they are applied and how the calculations are executed. Thank you for your kind words! Happy learning!

    I'm not a physicist, nor do I plan on becoming one, but I can't seem to wrap my head around the structure of each function. Would it be possible to make a video explaining why everything is where it is and why it is?

      Like for example, you said that min = (3/2)((alpha^2*h-bar^2)/(2*pi*m)^(1/3) was simple, neat, and cool. To me, I have no clue what any of this actually means in a physical sense. Like what does 2pim tell us alone, and what does the square of alpha tell us other than probability, then if you know that why is the squared h-bar multiplied by it significant? Maybe my perspective is wrong on what I should actually be looking for; I've never taken a quantum mechanics class(I also can't speak to a professor at my university), but if you could perhaps do an analogous video to this with a little more breadth and verbosity in the equations themselves other than just the calculus I'd appreciate it.

      @@paxtonstorey6755 This sounds like a really fun idea! Thanks for taking the time to suggest it! Yeah - I can easily see how it would be possible to lean on the math alone and lose track of physical intuition. I'll have to take some time to look over a few spots from this book and try to put together a cohesive review - maybe chapter by chapter or just the book as a whole. But definitely loving this idea!

    I offer these tidbits from the Popcorn Model of Reality.
    This is in the study of the Hamonics and the Harmony of Our Universe in the context of Everything:
    so,
    I'm going to use a metaphore where 1 musical note, * , represents Nature's Reality;
    This note, * , represents the true existence of Nature's reality. This is the realm of the lord, the almighty GOOD (not a religion), The real note in which everything resides. What follows are just harmonics of the supreme force of reality upon which i will expand in later vids.
    1st harmonic of reality (hor)* the human mind and the MotherVerse.
    2nd harmonic of reality * commonly referred to as our universe and where electromagnetic radiative force is dominant.
    3rd hor * dark matter, the strong nuclear force dominates.
    4th hor * the weak nuclear force dominates.
    5th hor * gravity, where the popcorn really explodes.
    6th hor * time, the here and now where the rubber meets the road.
    The 3rd, 4th, and 5th combine to create Dark Energy.
    This not everything. Undescribed harmonics extend, ad infinitum, above and below the note (*). The harmonics show that space that appears empty is never in fact empty.
    Between Nothing and Everything is Something :)
