as INTP, I have found that studying economics and looking for patterns and trends to be rather helpful in investments and finance. INTP's need to harness their analytical propensity, and focus it on markets or other investments, and you can do quite well.
hey dude, i am also an INTP. thinking of researching the stock market and how it works. Can our analytical skills as INTPs really help THAT much in making money from this ?
And refrain from the thought "This pattern is so obvious, everybody sees it so it won't make me any money". It's easy to think that, but trust me, not everybody sees patterns that are obvious to you. I know it kept me from acting upon insights.
Yea I’ve done some research here and there on crypto especially but also financial stuff in general but I always find my self disinterested after a while and going back to psychology/ philosophy or just general science facts, I guess finance just isn’t as thought provoking, it sucks because it feels like a choir half the time trying to do research into finance but I know it’s alot more beneficial at least at this point in my life and for the future, although obviously psychology help with life more in general and reading social situations which the importance of researching and learning the field of psychology/ philosophy is quite underrated I feel like, as u can learn shit so early in life that u won’t make the same mistakes from later in life
That’s one thing as an intp I’ve always not understood about others, a lot of people take criticism so personally especially from people they don’t know we’ll or even barley at all but the still take whatever insults/ criticism so personally. I couldn’t give a shit about ur inputs and ur criticism as if ur someone I don’t know and u start to criticize me straight of the bat, I simply won’t listen as ur irrelevant to me anyways and for me to actually take some of ur criticism personally means I trust u and I trust that u actually have useful insights to improve my character as a human being for the future
