Ruby Quaker is probably my favorite on the album as well. I've been putting it on during my morning coffee since it came out and it makes the experience so much better. There's almost no better way to wake up than that if you ask me. ☕ Thanks for the review!
I have spun this three times so far my rating at the moment is 7.5/10 The choruses are hook line and sinker on this album fantastic. The sound is also massive on this album which is killer 👏🤟With each listen I get more and more into it
I stick to 7/10 I think. I have listened to this album a lot now and have started seeing the few minor flaws but overall it is a great album. The choruses are huge 🤘
I agree in basically everything you say. Devin is by far my favorite artist, and after a few listenings I really appreciate it. Not top 5 aoty yet, but maaaybe top 10.
Hi👋... november 1st The Cure broadast live a show (21.00 pm here in France),think they're gonna play the album top to bottom...can't wait for it...curious about your ranking...my no 1 is the kiss me album...a special place in my heart for different reasons .
I am definitely looking forward to blast this album. His videos on his experiences and journey through his vlogs of making the album were interesting and personal. I will be diving in to it a lot and I bet it'll be as great as his other praised albums.
It is a very decent album considering the 12 days composition period. I have listened to it only once but will be returning to it more and more. I think this one is a grower
He didn’t write it within 12 or 11 days from scratch, he had an folder full of riff- and idea-material ready from where he started to make songs out of it, and this process he compressed from usually 2 months to a deadline of 11 days (which makes one song per day)
Ruby Quaker is also my favourite song, fucking loved it. Lot to love on here, not my favourite album of his though I've yet to dislike one. I agree that outside of Empath Devin has fallen into a bit of a rut, but I do feel this is just an appetizer of what's to come. It's going to get weird, and epic, and Mothy
Not been impressed unfortunately. It's a demo. The vids are inferior. I think there's a budget issue ? Empath has been the apex so far. Since then, all media released hasn't a polished quality I've expected. Wanted more Got less

its a solid c-tier album. enjoyed it more than Lightwork
I agree. Great album but not a standout 🤘
i agree - i wish he would do more out there bonkers stuff like deconstruction - i dont think he has that in him anymore tho
He didn’t write it within 12 or 11 days from scratch, he had an folder full of riff- and idea-material ready from where he started to make songs out of it, and this process he compressed from usually 2 months to a deadline of 11 days (which makes one song per day)
Cheers for letting me know 🤘
Stick to addicted, deconstruction or ocean machine, his best

Really looking forward to the Moth. Very intrigued to see how it turns out. Enjoyed a lot of this album though
@@ThatMetalBloke It's definetly growing on me, Devin doesn;t miss. But I'm dying to hear the Moth.
Found this rather boring

Wanted more
Got less
Fair enough mate. I agree with you on the videos. Very low quality. Hopefully all the budget is going to the Moth
