Went to one of his workshops at Stonefield Cellars Winery, and it was an incredible experience. A truly wonderful musician, who is kind, humble, and generous.
Pierre is a legendary musician. But he's an even more wonderful human being. I was blessed to perform shows with him during his 2022 North American tour! #grateful
For the very first time I went to a concert of Pierre Bensusan in Agen , France in November last year. It was a very small venue, so I appreciated chatting with him and being able to express my admiration for his music. The concert was an unforgettable experience and I was super motivated and inspired again to make progress and learn more on the guitar (at my level of course). He is unique in his poetic style and so gifted as a musician and guitar player.
Such a genius... I like his song "La Java du concessionnaire" - it's impossible how he can do that I'd say "asynchronous" singing with playing the guitar at the same (haven't seen him playing it live yet but I don't doubt he can do it). He keeps that waltz rhythm going but in between plays some sort of lead... amazing!
It's interesting to hear Pierre say he doesn't keep instruments around that he doesn't play, as they are a distraction.....must be the exception to guitarists who have large collections on hand!
