One suggestion… in case a c section happens, highly recommend bringing some pads you can put over the incision inside your undies to protect the belly while riding in the car etc. it helps pad against the seatbelt. It’s a must! Best wishes your gremlin comes soon! (My bday is 10/21 so Halloween themed birthdays growing up…. Haunted houses etc.)
Your waddling comment unlocked a memory. When I was very pregnant with my first, my hubby and I were downtown. We were crossing the street from the library to a brewery (obvs for my hubby, not me). There was this very pregnant beaver that also crossed the road. Not only was this super cool, but I identified so much with that little rotund rodent and her waddling gait. 😂

Thank you for the update video. So wonderful the baby’s heart is not skipping beats. Everything is going according to plan with the nursery done and everything organized. Poor Neens. I hope she feels better. When we finish yard work the brain loves beautiful scenery and also loves it when a task is finished successfully. When we were mowing last week the transmission drive belt came apart and fell off our lawn mower. So we had to buy a new one and replace it. It took about five hours taking the engine motor out etc. and finally got the belt on and everything put back together. It was late yesterday evening when we finished and got to mow a little of the yard. To help the allergies you can get a warm wet washcloth and hold it over your eyes and you can get some cleansing eyelid pads from the drug store. This keeps pollen and debris from staying stuck on the eyes and keeps them clean. Remember to keep resting and keep hanging in there. Love you Jade the Libra!!!

My son Hunter was born May.22nd I was initially induced on May.13 but the induction failed which completely bummed me out but they tried once again on the 22nd and my 7 lb 8 oz boy was born so congratulations on your new baby boo

So excited for you! Wanted to let you know my baby lives in onesies. We have about 12-15 of them at all times. Especially when it’s hot in summer. You will go through 3 very quickly. ❤
Mom of 4 here! At the hospital, I was really sore, tired, etc. I was able to get up right after giving birth (no epidural) and rinse off in the shower in my delivery room, put on clean stretchy underwear and a pad, and pajamas before heading to my room. Once in my room, the only thing I needed was a toothbrush and toothpaste, my phone charger, my own pillow (bc theirs is flimsy and suck), my phone, comfy clothes for me, underwear to go home in (the hospital provided my diapers and pads) and just used baby gowns for quicker diaper changes. The hospital literally provided everything else. You aren’t gonna need 15 outfit changes, nor is the baby. Everything else is unnecessary and just a lot to deal with! That being said, I used cloth pads and cloth diapers. So I had to bring all that but it’s not necessary to bring it if you’re doing disposables.

I don't miss that last month of excruciating pain! I'm a fall allergy sufferer and I was pregnant with my October ghoul (24 yrs ago this October!) with one of our hottest summers ever. I feel your pregnancy woes! It was totally worth it and your gremlin will be here any minute 🖤🖤🖤
Hey ghoul, hey! So happy the "little gremlin" is checking out well and behaving himself, that's a big relief. That insomnia is a "b" but as it's said and I have sadly found it to be true is that it's preparation for when the little guy arrives and you will be up feeding and changing diapers. Most breast fed babies are on "demand" feeding so that keeps you going, and you basically run on fumes, I honestly don't know how we do it the first year especially without falling over from exhaustion but we manage. You may want to set up your nightstand in one of the drawers or a basket with all the baby changing necessities & a wipeable changing pad since baby will be with you for awhile & you can change baby there on the spot along with a lighting that will be enough to see but not wake you all up with the brightness.
Hey Jade. Our girl had recurrent UTIs in the past. She currently is still on D-Mannose powder in her wet food every morning for over a year and no flare-up! Also. NO DRY FOOD! Add water to wet food at feedings!

I know you wanna nest, but remember baby gremlin is gonna sleep in a bassinet in your room for a few months so you have some time to set everything completely up. We sleep trained both our boys at 4 months old to sleep through the night in their own bedroom. If you need any sleep training advice I’m here to help🖤

Our dog had chronic UTI's caused from kidney disease. If you haven't had her checked please do! It's just blood work that checks the kidney levels.
