This is my 1st year decorating my own home for halloween! I'm also having a "Haunted Housewarming" Party. I'm encouraging costumes (& I'll give out candy to those who do), I'm hiding little ghosts throughout my home/yard as a game to try & find them all. There's a guess how many candies game (ghoul mix m&ms) and a list how many horror movies with the word "home, street or house" in the title. I planned a whole themed appetizers menu & themed desserts. I'm decorating the inside with mini glass witch ingredients vials, fake black roses, a spooky tree, mini jack o lantern string lights, paper bats on the walls & a halloween lace table cloth among other things!

Lol Also, I’m obsessed with my Sleepy Hollow (does anyone else ALWAYS think spooky hollow instead of sleepy hollow???) short sleeve. It’s such nice fabric, the design is off the charts cool, and the fit is just so perfect. I’m short so I don’t usually like longer tops but the cut of this one just makes it work. Love it! 🖤🧡

Oh man, Lucian might be an escape artist when it comes to trying to 'zone' him off from certain areas of your house when he starts toddling. When my little one was toddling, I simply didn't decorate at all on the floor AT ALL because my son was Houdini and got over/around the baby gates within a week of his newfound mobility. It wasn't until he turned 5-6 that I could start again. But hey, that just means you get to go (even more) crazy with every surface Lucian can't reach. My favorite place to decorate (since I don't have a mantel/fireplace) is this awesome antique drawer/dresser that hangs out in our hallway. It has an awesome vintage vibe going all year round that gets turned up to the nines during spooky season when all the black and orange comes out.
I have to decorate super late this year as I'm going to be in Europe for the whole of September. I usually decorate the 2nd last week of September, I'm stressed that I won't have enough time to decorate when I get back home!

And ghoul I love the nails those are amazing. I was thinking you could do like a house on haunted Hill theme for your living room sort of. Use the veil lady, but do you like spectres and gauze and subtle ghost type things with wilted flowers and such. I think that would be beautiful.
