    I love this. Would love to see more Plotter/ Plotter-like content on RUclips. It’s sort of an over-shadowed sub-topic with all the Hobonichi products and the larger ring-srtyle planners out there. Don’t get me wrong, those are all great but I’ve found that for me Plotter is the perfect blend of planning, creativity & journaling because it’s so flexible. I can’t be conformed to bound planners b/c I’m always needing to move pages around.

      I’m a huge fan of ring planners over pre dated planners. I’ve tried every size of the hobonichi hoping it would work for me but everytime I have a blank page, I lose all motivation to continue. Rings give me flexibility and organization! I’ve been bullet journaling in my 5th anniversary plotter and it’s helped me feel more creative in my planning too

    Also, I wanted to add that I remember listening to someone talk about the Pueblo leather and saying that the more you touch it and it picks up the oils of your hands it becomes smooth like the Liscio leather. Maybe you can add leather conditioner or balm to speed that process up?

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +2

      I’ve heard that about the pueblo as well! Specifically the plotter one but I assume all pueblos are about the same. I’ve thought about putting conditioner on but honestly I don’t necessarily gravitate to it enough to want to just yet. At the moment I’m really loving the bible size Liscio leather so I might go back to pocket and try conditioning it one day!

      I have a few Pueblo leather Plotters and they do get smoother and a litlte “shiny” over time. Plotter offers conditioner but not sure if it would restore the leather closer to original or speeds up the “worn” look.

    This is going to sound bizarre and beyond obsessive, but unlike others who naturally would be more curious about leather quality comparisons and ring mechanisms, I'm obsessing over the brush metal Plotter spine! I would gladly buy a Wuzhi and even found a colour I LOVE, but I'm drooling over that Plotter spine!! Saying that I don't know if I can justify paying double the price for a planner just for the spine! I have the impression that the Plotter is heavier and thus feels "nicer" in the hand and lays flat easier, due to the added weight of the spine. In your experience, is this the case and does the Plotter, irrelevant of leather, feel nicer to use? more substantial? or am I just obsessing for nothing? I do apologise for the long winded comment and would appreciate yours or anyone's input! :)

    Thank you for sharing!!! I just stumbled upon your channel searching for how people are using their Plotters. I have an A5 Plotter and really wanted to see if I could do the Bible size but the covers are so expensive to take a chance on. So, I am beyond thrilled that you have shared about Wuzhi leather binders!!!!! I bought the same grey one in Bible size. I will buy the inserts from Plotter as those are really affordable. I’m so excited. Just curious as to how long did shipping take? I’m in the US. Also, looking forward to seeing content on how you are using your Plotters!

      I received mine in just under two weeks from when I ordered! It was fairly quick and fully tracked. I’m in Toronto Canada if that helps give a time frame for how fast their shipping is!

    Is the ring diameter the same for A6 sizes?

    great video. thank you for introducing me to this new brand. I will try that format. I like its narrower. How the fill from Plotter fit into the Whuzi?

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +1

      No issues with using the plotter refills in the wuzhi! I found that my dividers went closer to the edge of the planner with the Wuzhi but it wasn’t so much that I could see it beyond the planner when it’s closed if that makes sense

    I loved that plotter 5th anniversary green but wasn’t wild about the writing/ embossing on the front cover. Does anyone know if they have or will have Bible size with silver bar & rings? That’s the one I would want next.

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +1

      I remember Plotter’s shrink leather used to come with silver rings but it seems like now they’re offering it with antique gold. Perhaps you can find an older edition of the plotter shrink leather on buy/trade/sell groups!

    Hi! Wuzhi bible size is also narrower than Plotter bible size? Thank u

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +1

      The Wuzhi one is slightly bigger (Wuzhi is 4.8”x7.2” and Plotter is 4.5”x7”) but I don’t notice a difference when using them. The refills are the same!

    So when you say A6, is it really true A6 or another name for Personal/ Bible size?

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +2

      Wuzhi calls this an A6 but it is a personal/bible size!

    I don't like these! Seems like (and looks like) a cheap Chinese knock-off of a high quality Japanese product. I totally get why there's a market for them though - it's very difficult and/or expensive to get Plotter outside of Japan and the US. It'll be interesting to see how these wear in the long term. Are the rings as high quality as those in the real Plotter?

    • @SandoodlesDesk
      @SandoodlesDesk  Год назад +2

      The price was the biggest thing for me. Wuzhi as almost half the cost of the plotter after I accounted for taxes and shipping into Canada. The A7 planner I got from Wuzhi came with gold Krause rings but the personal sized one didn’t which I found odd. The leather quality is great though, both have the same tannery certification card as the ones from Plotter
