Hey Zassar,
Thank you for covering our game again and for the kind words in between. I do want to point out certain pointers that you missed covering in this video, I'll note them down since I am not going to make another reaction video this time:
1. We've announced that the first two games will be free of cost with no monetisation features in-game whatsoever. We are launching a total of 7 parts of the game, of which first two will be free and the remaining 5 will be paid. Also, even though we aim for a AAA quality game, we do realise that an Indie price point is what will work in our favour so that is very much our intent.
2. With regards to AO and SSAO, we have techniques in place to make the game much better looking but didn't get time to implement them during IGDC. Also, I believe perhaps your understanding of these technical aspects might be limited, which I understand, so please wait for further updates from us so we will be able to give a better looking build. Additionally, most of these features are also given to the player to tweak as per their likings since we are dealing with so much fragmentation in terms of PC specs for variety of players.
3. In terms of the demo feeling soulless, we had populated NPCs in the protagonist's home area and the mela. We will most certainly add more crowd to the game but that will differ based on areas. The area in between the home and fun fair area was a kind of an empty spot so thereby the crowd not being there was intentional. You will find diversity in areas in the game build in various areas though.
4. About the collisions part, of course that is something that we acknowledge is not finished. Since we are dealing with different areas and maps it becomes difficult for us to playtest each and every area and showcases like IGDC help us get that playtest feedback in place so we can improve it. During development we definitely try our level best to cover as many blind spots as possible but it is very difficult to cover all blind spots, which we encounter in gameplay as 'bugs'. Such gameplays being done in the wackiest way possible that try to break the game actually help us identify these blindspots. Companies like Rockstar Games and the biggies have large number of resources to test these things out. We are creating this game at the fraction of budget of what they have so such things are natural to come out during showcases, which actually help us get feedback and improve the game.
5. Thank you for the pointers you mentioned in the video, the game mechanics are definitely something we are striving hard to improve on. Especially the fighting mechanics. We plan to implement a unique and satisfying fighting system that we are currently working on that you will definitely love. I'm a gamer myself and have played a wide variety of games not just limited to GTA V but have also played Far Cry series, NFS series, Cult Of The Lamb, Assassins Creed and so on. Been gaming since my childhood so over 2 decades+ of gaming blood resides in me :)
6. Last, but definitely not the least, I believe a thank you from your side to me is long due as your channel has seen immense growth due to our game and as of now the first video you made on Mumbai Gullies is still the most watched video on your channel because of which your channel has grown. Wishing you all the best for your content ahead. Baaki do read all the comments on certain aspects of presentation style that other people have recommended to you, it will help you in the long run.

Bro zassar I understand that ur just giving criticism but the game is still in pre alpha, mocap is left, more detailing and many more things. About that Ao And ssao thing ofcourse the team of game Devs understand that better than you as you said you're only a gamer. Gameon knows what its doing so give it time pls.
Sir, U say u r making the game on a fraction of budget l, so sir u must know about HELLBLADE an indie game made by Ninja Theory. U should look at their graphics they are stunning and gmaplay is decent also.

One thing i would love you to include in the next feedback video is cinematics and GUI cuz they don't stand up to the standards and they play a big role in user experience
Few Suggestions
1. they should provide a early access game
2. do not use DRM that deteriorates performance
3. aim for mastering gameplay mechanics rather than graphics
4. Make environment denser rather then huge
5. try to accomodate the various local languages, festivals and food in the game
6. explore TTS and AI for generating unimportant NPC dialogue
7. Extra wishlist - VR with AI but you can reply to NPC using microphone like skyrim mod - herika
They should definitely go for a Yakuza like approach instead of GTA. Yakuza always has small cities, many of them are the same used in multiple games, but they populate it with good content and make the environments dense and memorable. That's what they should go for imo.

My honest feedback:
As you mentioned the mechanics feel like straight out of a 90mb mobile game, the player doesn't feel like he has got some weight, the fighting, player models and the environment(only at some areas) feel not that great. But i hope it will be fixed....

One thing they should fix the key aspect of 3rd person games, is the animations. They need a lot of work. Without good animations, the game feels very low standard.
They also need to fix the framrate. India mein hardware he jo 30 fps se upper frames ke games chala sakhe 😅😅

Mumbai gullies got more competition now as rockstar just announced a new GTA game ,GTA 6 game probably its they should take time and make ghe game ground breaking because it can change the gaming community in india
In my opinion, they should to keep Mumbai gullies as original and unique as possible rather than calling it Indian GTA. People in India who wanna try this out will try it anyways even if the word GTA is not included.
And you're absolutely correct brother. If Mumbai gullies wants to compete, it has to be good moreover at a competitive price point if it wants to capture international market.
And i think its a good start at this time cause AAA titles(ex Forsbroken, pew pew wars) have disappointed the gamer community and so people are trying more and more indie games and games as well as the ones from small studios.

Price should be between 500 to 1000. Or India me to sab pirate he karne wale hai. American ke prespective se dekho koi GTA SA jaisa game ke liye $50 nahi dega. chalo GTA definitive edition ke liye de diya but koi naya title ke liye nahi dega.
According to me the game feels a little bit fortnitish and a little bit blant like not so immersive but if I look at it overall this game is improving and slowly its getting soulfull instead of soulless

i mean they do have alot of time to improve, what they showcased is an early early prototype, and it's obvious theyre still working on the mechanics, it'll take time to improve and we can definitely see new improvements the next time they'll reveal the footage
I just found out that gta 6's trailer is about to get released somewhere like next week, this poses a threat to mumbai gullies now, if they would not be able to provide similar quality to even gta 5 then i think all hype of mumbai gullies will be gone in like just matter of days. Now no matter when mumbai gullies will be released only gta 6 will rule the web for like next five years.

There are some words you use and the way you use them seem very inappropriate. Although I love all the knowledge and facts you provide but I am not able to ignore those things and it sorta created a negative impact on me. Agree with your points bro, just hope that they take the feedback from the actual gaming community and work on their game, they can take as much time as they want, we just want a good game which is finished and optimized unlike some recent "big AAA games" we have seen this year. Fingers crossed🤞

1) The Assets department have done wonderful Job uske liye 100 marks hai jinhone ne bhi like Environment aur Characters banaya hai unhone acha kaam kiya hai. (Good thing)
2) I think gameplay ka itna masla nhi hai, main reason I'm surprised ki aapne bhi apne video pe miss kardiya ki game abhi bhi properly Optimized nhi hai. It should feel smooth but game bahut lag kar rahi hai because game have low fps and I'm pretty much sure ki Nikhil Sir ke pass Latest High Budget PC hogi toh agar unke PC mai itna lag kar rahi hai toh hum jaiso ka kya hoga. So kuch karo naa karo optimize phele karo game ko. (Must be done Asap)
3) Game mai kuch minor bugs, souless NPC behaviour, Animations inko thoda aur acha kar sakte ho. (Should be in to do list)
UE5 inko use nahi karna chahiye tha, UE4 se ye ek decent game bana sakte thee jaise ki Kena bridge of spirits. UE5 abhi new hai aur devs ko itni knowledge nahi ki kaise isko dhang se use kiya jaye par UE4 ki knowledge 10 saal se hai toh optimization aur graphics dono zyada easy hoti.

Please add facial expression it will improve the cutscenes and gameplay and also give us an immersive experince.
And cutscene starting/triggering looks horrible please add blackbars up and down and blend the game world with it so the cutscenes feel like a movie and the game and cutscenes blend together just like rdr2.

This looks like a very very early version of the game, im pretty sure they are not using the best features of UE5 because they are targeting an audience which doesn't have alot of gpu power to run the latest features.
Then they won't have an audience at all unless they sell the game at 200 rupees because even, I can't bear with low quality graphics. I'll maybe buy it, but I'll never play it and enjoy it besides, if you don't have a good pc, you shouldn't expect games to be made for you and for foreigners, no one would buy it because they would see it as a cheap low effort game. Trust me, if they put in effort and make this a good indie title, people outside of India will take notice and would give it a chance more than the people here.
@@speedforce8970 They'll have to work hard for it, this looks like it's at an extremely early stage and alot of things have to be implemented. Specially if they are aiming for realism then they have to work more. GTA still has a stylized look, but the game really looks beautiful on its own. Cyberpunk 2077 is also very neon-y and futuristic style and has great textures etc, if it has to compete with those type of games then it would easily take their team 4-5 years.

Is it just me ya phir aisa lag rha hai ki GPU is not able to keep up with the graphics? Because jab bhi koi movement hp rha hai kaisa ajeeb sa motion blur type lag dikh rha hai. Aisa normally tab hota hai jab kisi game mein mai graphics ko max kar deta hoon and mera GPU use jhel nhi pata

You clearly don't watch this channel enough to say that. Trust me, video games are as much a medium for entertainment as movies or TV shows but the video games most people in India play aren't what games are really about. Games are not just for fun; it is an art form and to call yourself an enjoyer of it implies a respectable level of knowledge which most people in India lack. He is right, we don't have a gaming community, we only have specific game communities and I hate to see my favorite form of art be only seen as a toy used only for entertainment when it has been so influential to my personal life. Good games can be life-changing, they can change your perspective on how you view your world and helps you in becoming a better person if you invest your time into the right games.

@@atharvaparihar951 You don't need a high end pc to play many of the best games released. Some of them can even be emulated in phones like older pokemon games and old school JRPGs like the Trails, Persona, SMT series or older GTA games. That's the issue really, not broadening our horizons is what I hate. I used to have a mid end PC which I know is a luxury many can't have but even before that, I had a laptop that cost like 20k rupees and I played older AC games on it and it lasted me a while. I am sure many people who only play these 4 games will still not try anything new even with a high end PC. I mean, when I got one, I only played CSGO and GTA 5 too. It's only when I started playing more singleplayer games that I truly started to love games and I learnt a lot from it socially. I hope more people get to experience what I did and how much better of a person I became due to it. Games like Free Fire, GTA 5 online, PUBG are built to be addictive and don't teach anything valuable. It's entertainment in the moment but nothing long-lasting.
