Tito Sean The first Manometer with plastic bottles imploded .... and started sucking water into left carb ..... glass bottle Manometer sucked all the water left and bubbled away like a kettle on steroids .... rough turning of the screw and turning over starter Motor got it going once it died .... but ill be going to work by bus tomorrow .... lightly backfiring reduced when twiddling the idling revs down the the screwey Thing underneath
I stuck to the water and got it pretty much right till i have more time to spend .... Fellow Noobs be warned not to Freak out about revs going up while turning screws ... youre pushing down on the accelarator ( dont push down) !!! turn right for right to go up ...left for left to go up
Got me a GPZ 500 s ... ninja 500 .....1996. After a good ride and I Switch off for a short time it will restart and idle and rev but put her into gear to go andshe wants to cut out ... Let it idle a while and a few revs and it normally goes away shortly but when more persistant it will backfire ... Only backfired twice now in 3 months ... Thought id rip out the carb and clean it watching you tube vids for ninja 250 ?
Deep Doubts bout U Going through the carbs would be a good start. The GPZ carbs would be identical to the Ninja 250. It would just have 4 instead of 2. Also do a carb sync once you are done with the clean ruclips.net/video/JitJrZeefhs/видео.html

You need to use glass bottles and oil like ATF fluid not water

Thanks ... Ill pull them out tomorrow then .. Off to watch the carb Sync ... but will my Baby die without a carb sync at the same time ?
Carb sync will make it run much better for sure. Since you have thw carbs off might as well do the sync too.
