Hi Edda! I love APeeling Apple so much too, such a good one. You’re talk at the end definitely was good to hear. I need to slow down for sure. My collection has gotten crazy. I tend to think I have this many and maybe I can’t get it again etc. I have noticed the bulk of my warming is from whatever is available in the catalog and I tend to barely warm my club bars (hoard them). Makes no sense!
Then I stock up when the catalog is about to change in case something I like doesn’t come back. It’s ridiculous! There is always something around to warm and enjoy. I will look forward to any videos that you do! Happy warming ☺️💕
Good morning Edda. I’m with you! I have so much wax and I need to use what I have! I only ordered 3 BBMBs to try and I haven’t ordered from any vendors except for L3 in the past month! I I’ve learned I don’t have to try every new thing Scentsy puts out! Thanks for your video!
You’re definitely not alone in this. I have been thinking the same thing. I have way too much and looking for places to store it and that is not ok with me. I will be joining you in working on my inventory and I will most certainly continue watching your empties videos. Thanks for sharing. 😊
The struggle is real. I feel like I am in a never-ending, vicious cycle. Please just do what’s best for you. As someone else mentioned, I will watch your videos whatever you decide to share with us.

I’m trying to get into the mindset of just enjoy what I have and only have multiple bars of ones I will actually warm all the time and love. I think we all struggle with this. I support you! I’m ready to cut my club down after I see what’s coming back this fall winter.

I am feeling like you. I feel like I need to stock up but I don't get to the bars. I have this need to try and use up bars I don't like to get them out of my house and then I don't use the bars I do like. I know there will be all kinds of new bars coming this fall and winter and it will just keep building. I am trying really hard not to have this fear of missing out and also hoarding bars that I can't get anymore. It is overwhelming. I know its crazy since its just wax but it really does get to me.
I’m so with you!!! Sometimes I think maybe if I just go 6-12 months without buying anymore wax, I might be able to get to a manageable level where I feel comfortable. Scents show up in catalogs and sometimes in clearance & flash sales, so there’s always the possibility of trying scents I missed during that time. Convincing ourselves of that is the hard part.

It’s ironic you just made this video. I feel exactly like you. Looking at my wax collection gives me anxiety. I have purchased 18 items of vendor wax since December. I have been buying Scentsy but need to cut back there as well. I have just way too much wax and I actually have a Scentsy cart full for the past week. I stopped myself . Why was I ordering additional collections when I haven’t even melted the first one I have? I have so many great bars I haven’t even tried yet. It’s time to concentrate on what I do have. I don’t need any more wax. I’m going to cut my club to a minimum so I can get a half price item and a discount. I’m thinking of moving in the next year and don’t even know how I will transport my wax. Thank you for inspiring me even more.
Hubby and I have had several discussions about whether we’ll move when we retire and every time we have that conversation, I shudder at the thought of moving ALL my wax & warmers 😱
@@eddaharrison2030 I know. I’m already thinking how I wil do it. We want to go to a retirement community about 40 minutes away. It is just a lot to transport.

I’m with you Edda! I’m even playing around with my clubs when they are due to ship each time so they don’t ship. I’m just working on what I have. I do have 2 clubs now. One is monthly but it’s only 4 bars( the breast cancer collection bars that I legit NEED & both warm lots for Dusty & gift to BC affected families) & one pack of cotton cleanups. But my quarterly is at 108 bars. Obviously I need to keep using up & playing around to delay shipments. I’m making slow but steady progress

I’m all for it! I keep using the hack to skip club while I’m working on vendor wax from 2021..I’ve only been buying L3 and even then only what I love and within reason.
I’m going to try using the hack this month to push it out 3 more months, especially with this heat. Thanks for reminding me 😊
An idea to help with your bedroom struggle. 2 options one- leave Alexa connected, but set multiple on/ off cycles so she’s only on when you are there to smell the scent
Option 2 get an element warmer. Disconnect Alexa & just leave the warmer on constantly unless you’re leaving the house. I have an element warmer in my bedroom ( Snow White’s well- of course for Dusty) I leave it on unless I’m leaving the house & I find 2 things. One-leaving the warmer on more seems to make me smell the scent more. Now- I use one cube per dish unless I’m mixing. So I change cubes about every 24 hours. But because of that the second thing I find is that I seem to get through a good bit more wax this way

I’ve definitely slowed down my buying, but have been seriously considering stopping my clubs. They definitely can get out of hand. I really enjoy making the videos on them and using the wax for sure. I don’t really do any vendor wax although I was gifted the cutest wax for Christmas. I believe almost all of my stash for spring/ summer will be gone by the end of August. I’d love to keep stocking up on it,but the struggle is definitely real

I have been working on getting my vendor, retail, and Scentsy collection down this past year by ( trying) to implement a 90 day no-buy every 90 days this year with a 100.00 limit for each purchase. I failed this 90-day quarter by overspending. But it's okay. I love wax. I am not going to be hard on myself. I am right back to my no-buy rules !!!😊

You are SO right - can’t beat ourselves up for what we’ve already purchased; instead, we look back at our choices and figure out how to to improve going forward. We use it to learn from. I like your idea of taking the low/no buy in 90-day increments. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me!!!!
Love this. I've stopped melting waxes in everyone room of my house; I have 3 curious little cats running around, and I want them
to have somewhat of a 'low
scent' area. At times I'll just have either my living room or bedroom warmer on at a time. I'm also the type to have a club account then cancel it of I get either bored or tired of the waxes, just to start one up a couple months later! Hope you have a good day!
I noticed the other morning that all the wax upstairs needed changing, except 1 room. That was also the day I had to spend extra time cleaning the warmer dishes in my room that looked horrible. I spent about 45 minutes JUST doing upstairs. By then it was time to start my computer and get to work. Yep, many days I just don’t worry about changing wax. I tend to look forward to enjoying the scents on the weekends. Yep, curious paws or curious little hands make it much tougher. Thank goodness kids are grown and our dog isn’t curious about the warmers or wax. Thank you for sharing!!!
Hey Edda, great empties. I am struggling with this issue of having to let my wax cure and ending up with a massive collection because I want all the things. 😂 I feel your pain I am working on my inventory and it’s rediculous and I am starting to feel overwhelmed. I totally agree I am starting to enjoy what I have and then moving on. So much new stuff comes out all the time. I don’t have as many duplicates as you, but I probably have every bar Scentsy has made between 2018 and now. 😂 I will watch you no matter what you share, I understand FOMO is a real struggle. I have a video coming out similar to yours once I get this darn inventory done. I am at 890 in my inventory and I am only half done so we can support each other. 🥰 We should have a race to 0. 😂

I don't have nearly the wax you do, but I totally feel you. I don't have more than 4 of anything, but find I'm going through so much more wax since retiring. I learned my lesson stocking up and the bars just get juicy. 4 and no more from now on. I do find I'm more open to the lighter scents now since I'm spending more time in the sewing room, (a spare bedroom). I've also stopped feeling l I must try every new collection. I've skipped a few over the last year, and found it's OK to do that! I don't have enough of a customer base for it to matter. I do get frustrated when something I dig up from a year ago (thinking Midnight Mahogany here) turns out to have cured beautifully and now I love it when I couldn't smell it before. GRRRR!! I don't do vendor wax much - though I want to try Lavender & Speckles at some point. I haven't found them to be any stronger or longer lasting - and that's always the goal. And if it's hard to get out of the dish w/o cotton balls, forget it. The only scent notes I love that Scentsy doesn't do and I'm willing to get from vendor are are tobacco, and vanilla since I can hardly smell Scentsy's - but that could be my nose. I do wish Scentsy would venture out into more scent categories like the ones you mentioned. As you mentioned, getting their wax is probably the easiest, but scents are limited, which seems strange to think because they do have lots of scents. I don’t mind having a little bit of a stash as long as they hold up well over time, as I hope to still have a nice amount when I retire in a few years - less to buy later. Like you, no real customer base - my sister and 1 friend and both are mostly clubs. Every now and then they purchase, which I appreciate. It would be great if I could close large parties because other people ordered from my party, but it’s mostly my own purchases - that will definitely have to reduce as I get closer to retirement. I do think I’ll enjoy warming wax more once I retire because hopefully I’ll be able to pay attention to the scents more and not just sit at my desk working all day. Have a wonderful weekend!!!

I remember when I first joined, I wanted (or thought I should) get the scent & warmer of the month. Did that for several months before I realized I had to stop. Now I check out what’s coming and only order (usually the scent) if I really think I’ll like it. If I like the warmer and want it, I try to plan on making it a half price item when closing a party. Like you, I really need to warm more often (I’ve really slowed down), and buy the minimal amount possible. Work in progress 😊
Hi Edda! Maybe you need to do a 3 out 1 in policy. Downsize your collection but allow yourself to still indulge a bit. I was just looking at my candle collection as fall candles are coming out and trying to decide what if anything I even have room for!
I Like It -- 3 out, 1 in. You’re right though, I’ll probably indulge a little to get some BBMBs this month. I could almost still stick to that plan, but bend it a little just for BBMB. BBMB will be my exception AND A-peeling Apple if I ever see it in clearance. I really like that plan!!!
A cleaning trick I “invented “😂is to keep the dish on the warmer so the alcohol heats up. The reside is gone so quickly that way!

I think I have 400+ bars and I only put them in my clubs if I absolutely love them. Because I want to try everything once and right now I'm melting thru last fall bars. I'm behind in warning wax but I'm ok with it. I'm brand new to wax. Hope you get thru your wax.
I think that’s how club should be - only ones you love. Unfortunately, I find myself not having time to warm everything so I end up adding to club in case, but I’ve done that and removed bars I really like to keep it relatively small, only to find out I’ve made the wrong choice. I so appreciate YOU!!!
I have a huge stockpile too! We always have to try the new ones, causing me to have so many half used bars too lol. Its never ending, I understand💞
It feels like a never ending cycle - warm the old ones and you don’t know if you like the new ones, but if you warm the new ones to see if you like them, you can’t get to the old ones enough to make a difference in the stockpile. Hopefully we’ll figure out the plan that works best for us.

I just said today… I gotta stop stockpiling wax 😮😂 It’s like I warm daily 99% of the time and normally change my wax everyday. I have to make myself try ONLY what really interests or intrigues me and decide with those what needs to be clubbed. I need to stop buying just to have more bars!! I know when Fall and Winter comes I’m in trouble 😖
Oh yeah, that FOMO gets me all the time, and yet I know that we can’t really miss what we haven’t had - but it still gets me. I’m really hoping that my numbers might look so much better to me by next Summer.
I struggle too. I have major FOMO. I only budget $40 per month for eating out, but I don’t bat an eye at spending $250 a month on wax. That’s messed up….LOL
Oh my goodness, you read my mind 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’ll look for the cheapest item on the menu of something I like to eat, but wax orders, it’s like I don’t see the price. What I do notice is my credit card bill. I think, oh my goodness what did we buy last month, and it has lots of wax purchases 🤑😆

@@eddaharrison2030 yes it’s good but I like Atlantic air better . Still going to stick up in a few bars but Atlantic air is stronger and lasts longer .
