Kae’s Scented Melts - Lots of New Scents & Customs

- Of course, when Karla with Kae’s Scented Melts listed that she had new scents that had just been added to the website, and many were already favorites, I just had to get on and place a big order with lots of the new scents and definitely some customs.
Don’t forget to leave me a suggestion for the blend I want to name for myself.

Thank you so much. Connie and I both agree that your Jazz Club is better! You also keep us on our toes with your unique blends, they are so much fun. The only way to find those fantastic blends are by taking those blending chances. You just never know. Maybe good.. maybe great or maybe not the best. But you just don't know until you try.
I had the coffee stronger in the Cuban blend but it overpowered the Whispers and Cuban so I backed it down. Let's see if it comes forward when warmed.
You had told me that if any of them didn't work or we didn't like something, to let you know as you were open to change. I was on the fence with the Honolulu Sun/ Sea Swept Blossoms. Honolulu Sun does not always want to play nice when blending with about anything else, but then Connie stepped over to smell it and said " I like it!" Ok.. haha so I left it as it was.
Tropical Blast. You got a bubble gum note and I get a banana note although there is neither in it lol.

Already starting my list for another order. Definitely getting another bag of the blend with the gingerbread honey 😍 Glad I inadvertently added 2 bags of the blend with the blackberry Bordeaux, that blackberry Bordeaux is a powerhouse. Although I am thinking of ordering it but changing one of the notes - maybe switching out Checkmate for Whispers in the Library. Today I mixed one of my previous blends with the sample of Honeymoon Hideaway - it was great!! You are correct, I always want you to use your judgement on whether the scents work or how much of each - totally trust you.
I’m going to warm the Honolulu Sun blend tomorrow at my desk to see how it does. On cold, the lemon does an amazing job of poking out without overtaking. I also need to play around with Palo Santo Topaz - that one does smell really nice 😊

@@eddaharrison2030 I agree with switching Whispers for Checkmate.
Blackberry Bordeaux, Macintosh Apple, Honolulu Sun, Mango Sorbet, Capri Seaside Citrus, and Cucumber Melon to name a few off the top of my head are so strong that they normally can not be used more than 10% in blends.

you were cracking me up when you said OK I let it sit for two months and then it’s like go go go !! I agree 100% that seems to be the perfect amount of time! I need to try her by the fireplace. Also I’ve just been discovering it and I’m pretty much head over heels!! and I don’t remember the one that had gingerbread and cardamom in it but oh my gosh that has to be amazing. I need to get that one also! I love honey and cardamom, and I am so here for gingerbread!! OK back to watching😃
It is so much fun playing with the different scents, and Karla is so so wonderful at figuring out the best proportions for our creations. It’s amazing how you can just tell when the scents seem to be just right for warming 🤩

Edda, oh my gosh this was an amazing order. I love that you used freshly zested lemon in a few of your blends, I love that scent. Your Cuban Tobacco and jazz club scents have me wanting to place an order. Name your custom Gingy’s Roasted Stogie. 😂🤣😂
I have YOU to thank for reminding me of Kae’s Freshly Zested Lemon. Saw it on one of your videos, and thought “wow, it’s been like 3 years since I melted that one”. I knew right then that I would be using it in a custom the next time I had a chance, and this was it - so Thank You!!!
Love the name suggestion. So far, you and Melissa Ferguson had suggestions. Going to write all suggestions down and go over them with hubby to see which one we think works best. Both of you are very creative with coming up with names, and so quickly 🤩

Glad you brought up the coffee candy. My sister and I found them at Home Goods or TJ Maxx. We both bought a bag and opened it in the car. I got right back out of the car and bought every bag they had because I knew I wanted to share them with our customers. They did not have the next time we went. I found them on Amazon and may have to order them.
Oh, I put that candy to the side - the day is going to come when I just say “that’s it, I’m eating it”. I know I’ll enjoy 😊

Great haul! I love KAE's! She is wonderful, and so kind. I have a long list of things I want to try from her company, and it's getting longer by the minute it seems. For some reason, I am on a Pink Sugar kick, so I ordered some KAE Kuts a few months back. I'm letting them sit for a while longer before I dig into them. However, I'm thinking I really need to place a new order so that I have things on hand and ready to go for fall - right now, all I have is Scentsy, and that is just too limited. Lol. Any excuse to buy wax, right?! Wonderful video, and so many things sound like I need to try them. Thanks for sharing this haul with us!!

I don’t always plan well, but since I like to let her blends sit for about 2 months before using, I try to plan my fall selections so that I have them early enough to get those 2 months, but life gets busy and I’ll forget. One of the reasons I’m so glad you can order anytime!!
