I am so thrilled that y'all mentioned smile! It is such a great introductory game into modern board and card games. I took it with me to Thanksgiving dinner and introduced it to people who were not into board gaming at all and they really enjoyed it! I like a lot of the ideas and maybe I'm just a little bit slower than the average bear. On my list for this Christmas is creature comforts but I was talking to some friends of mine last night and I feel like it's definitely a little more thinking than it looks. Admittedly it is adorable but I don't think I would want to give it to anyone under the age of 10. Just my opinion. I've also only played it once but I absolutely adore it! I also bought ready set bet and played it for the first time last night and everyone had a good time. Hope to see you all at pax unplugged!
My suggestions for Stocking Stuffers/Secret Santa/For the Kids would be: Coloretto, Crossing, Dobble, Exploding Kittens, No Thanks, Point Salad, Railroad Ink Challenge, Regicide, Super Mega Lucky Box & Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza

Fancy decks of cards are great, but if you start to collect, you end up not wanting to play with them. A good looking bicycle deck is great for playing many games with.
I’m starting to think that Jeff is my spirit animal. I frequently have people think that I’m a grump because I cross my arms and have RBF. I can’t help it! It’s just my face! I’m a very happy person inside, I just don’t always outwardly show it.

Well, my husband is getting a long list from me. For younger kids I want to also suggest "Hiss" such a fun color matching game. Its super simple but I use it in my 4-5 year old after school classes. And maybe it's a cultural thing but Cash 'n Guns just... doesn't hit me well as a American in the education system. >.>;

I mean. They make gaming components that are on the higher end. They definitely are about gaming but yea - it’s pricey. The good thing is it’s not required so definitely a luxury item for those that want that option!

Honestly I am not sure. I know wyrmwood has wooden dice and I’d assume given the costs they’d be balanced. But I’ve never actually used a set of wooden dice
Board Game Merchandise would be great if retailers offered Tall sizes for their shirts otherwise it results in the shirt shrinking too much after one washing or plumbers crack anytime you bend over... no one wants either of those things to happen

How easy will it be to find well balanced wooden dice? I've never looked into it but it seems like it could be difficult
