Thanks for the video i love ford lightning but i never liked this cheep white light. Now it's look great, maybe more darker if it's still glows in night.
Great job. But after tinting mine about a year ago I noticed those imperfections are REALLY noticeable at night. I don’t think it reads that well on video. Good luck to anyone trying this.
You did the wrap yourself? I can't imagine not letting a shop do it. Even the shop had to redo multiple times. It's held up well though. I place the aesthetics of the muted light bar during my normal daytime driving way above how it may look to others at night.
I’m tackling this tomorrow. I bought the vvivid+ hex dark smoke. I’ve never wrapped before and I’m told this is a tough wrap even for season wrappers. Haha. Yikes. Wish me luck.
@@LifeAsDane Not good haha. It actually was very difficult. I love the product. All the shops and pros around say it’s excellent quality, but the job I tackled (light bar on my lightning) was WAAAAAAAAY above my skill level haha.
I think I'd be more annoyed though if they were covered and look like sh!t on the edges. 😉For now I'm happy with it and it doesn't look sloppy. I'm sure they'll adjust this template as more people look to "delete" the light bar
@@bronsonwestlund2774 Have you seen it done better? Show me better. Nothing wrong with being the first light bar wrap customer. Can always come off as well. This was a highly rated shop. Wrap cars double this trucks value on a monthly basis. They only wanted my satisfaction.

Those coverage gaps/missing pieces would really annoy me.

Let me know how it goes. Haven't had any peeling or lifting as of yet. Love the look and still biased these need to be wrapped for esthetics
