How much do you think the 2017 Civic sedan ex-t monthly payments could be? With above average credit and a 3,000$ down payment and with some negotiation? I plan on getting one on 4th of July. Do you think that would also make a difference?

Monthly payments vary drastically based on credit scores, dealers, time span of purchasing, incentives, etc. I can estimate that you would probably be paying somewhere in the high $300's, but that is just my opinion. Honda usually participates in 4th of July sales. As a result, I would recommend waiting until around the 4th of July. I didn't know about those problems! Thanks for letting me know I will have to look further into that! In my rating of the vehicle though I did give it a 0.1 out of 0.5 for expected reliability since J.D. Power rated it a 2 out of 5 stars in reliability as well as a few other sources where complaining about reliability. Also, the Honda Civic has one of the lowest warranties in its class with a basic warranty of 3 years/ 36,000 mile warranty which is just average in the class. While other competitors offer much better warranties! Here at DriveAndBeDriven I am honest and I will give you honest opinions of cars! Hopefully, Honda works these problems out before it is too late. Also, if you are interested in the Honda Civic Hatchback I recently reviewed one about 2-3 weeks ago so feel free to check that review out! Cow Mad, Thanks for commenting and enjoying! Continuously Variable Transmissions tend to have much less components resulting in it being fairly reliable! When in comparison to a manual transmission, CVT's will most likely be more expensive to repair. This can mainly be due to manual transmissions having more readily available parts... I am sure that reliability for the Civic has many more factors that will play a role, but the manual will probably hold up better overtime,. Even though, the clutch will wear out sooner and need replacement! Also, if you haven't already, don't hesitate to subscribe! Bobby Knight, The high low-end torque of Honda's turbocharged engine sure will make this car more peppy around the city! Pairing this engine option to the CVT option will result in this vehicle having more than enough get up and go. Especially, considering CVT's tendency to offer more low end torque responsiveness than other transmission options. Also, the CVT will leave give you better fuel economy all around. While, on the other hand, if you want a more direct and connected driving feel the 6-speed manual transmission will most likely be the way to go... Also, keep in mind, I don't have my drivers license yet, but just based off of the specs and my knowledge the following things I said will most likely be true, for the most part! +Invizable99, No, unfortunately not. The EX trim doesn't come with heated front seats. Heated front seats, for the Honda Civic Sedan, start at the EX-T trims and above. The heated seats come with 3 levels of heat, though. If you want heated seats all throughout the cabin (for both front and rear seats), you will have to step up to the top of the line Touring trim. While on the other hand, if you want a very sleek and almost ghost looking vehicle, Chrystal Black Pearl would be the way to go. Especially, with those silver and glossy black rims on the EX-T that I have here. It would finish the car off perfectly! patrice aquino, I am very sorry you felt that way! I did review this vehicle in a parking garage and probably would never record one in a parking garage again due to the lower quality lighting...
