ABOUT JBL VTX superior line array, The clarity(brightness), the precision and the dynamics of the JBL VTX line array are impressive. It is JBL and for those who do not know the story, JBL is the inventor designer of the technology line array. This JBL VTX system rings fabulously well, it is the best line array. Congratulations to the JBL/Harman Engineers, the greatest of the audio industry. I call back that JBL conceives (designs) and makes its own loudspeakers with a knowledge without competition(competitors), an outstanding engineering, certainly the best loudspeakers to the world for more than 60 years. The engineer JBL did not forget the constraints of the tours, the logistics transport. The series VTX is the lightest in the line array category. The sound is state of the art, no compromise was made, the VTX can be characterized by the word perfection.
Altech Lansing and jbl ..named after the same dude been in competition since the first sound picture both where started by the same guy so does this mean they were at one piont time the same company with different brand names
The Iconic studio monitor was not a JBL product. Yes it was designed by James B. Lansing but it was prior to the founding of JBL or "James B. Lansing" as the company was originally called. The design of the Iconic as well as all the other early Lansing designs were sold to the Altec Service Company in 1941 to start Altec Speakers. In fact when Mr. Lansing was starting the "James B. Lansing" company he got into trouble creating an Iconic clone. He was forced to take his clone off the market. This was before his revolutionary D-130 design with it's 4 inch edge wound voice coil and Alnico magnet. Interesting observation. If you look at the magnet structure of a D-130 woofer and a 375 (2440) 2" high frequency driver you will see they are basically the same design with the magnet structure turned around. The back of the D-130 is the front of the 375 with a larger conical bore and 4 bolt hole pattern. The cast iron casting is slightly different with an embossed flat surface to mount to a high frequency horn.
Simply put: Just the Best Loudspeakers.....JBL! Impressive. And there's people that don't know about them but know about Bose...WTH?! Well, not everybody gets to know the REAL good stuff. Let's hear the TRUTH!...ja,ja
i love you JBL
Nothing beats JBL for "life" like sound reproductions. I just wanna hear the truth.
