Thank you very much for uploading this score-video; it's the first time I have ever heard this work and it's a privilege to be able to read along with a score while doing so. I have not heard much Sibelius, but have liked most of what I have heard. I came here ultimately from Dave Hurwitz's video on why this piece is actually a symphony, and I can definitely hear why listening to the whole piece. That video included some excerpts from the first movement of a Segerstam recording, and I had to check that out individually, but it has taken me this long to hear the whole Suite. Many thanks again.

Sibelius up there with the world's best ever composers, very moving work, usual genius orchestrating.

Thanks for the synopsis. It would have been useful for newcomers to get into Sibelius strange early fascinations with rapacious instincts.
An amazing good recording of this masterpiece!

Do you draw these cute composer characters by yourself??
Always enjoying your helpful videos.
Thank you! Indeed, I would sometimes use a paint tool to draw the composers to use for the thumbnails.
