Pat smear is the goat!!! Dude was in the Germs, nirvana, and foo fighters and had successfully kept his head down for 30+ years. Dude stayed in his bag and worked his ass off. Nothing but respect
Dave is a given, but I freaking love Pat's vibe. Dude is so chill.
Pat Smear could do absolutely nothing and you'd still love him, it's so weird he's just such a loveable guy
I can listen to Dave tell stories all day long! Such a great story teller!
I love how down to earth Pat and Dave are
i just wanna watch pat laugh. it makes me genuinely happy.
"I don't have your f... cellphone, we're listening to Kashmir man, leave me alone " aaaah that is so funny
"The stuff that's really hard we just fucking give it to Chris" 😂😂😂😂
What amuses me about Pat is how like so many others here have pointed out that he seems so down to earth and comes across as a genuinely sweet guy. But watch footage of him from early Germs gigs or in The Decline of Western Civilization and he ALWAYS looks pissed off or ready to fight. But that is because he was always pissed off and ready to fight! You had to be as a punk back then. People hated you for simply looking as different as punks did back then. I (also from Los Angeles) personally had people yell at me that they wanted to kill me for looking the way I did. I watched an interview with Pat where he pointed out how cool it is to see someone with blue hair walking down the street nowadays and how he feels proud that they pioneered that and how it is just a given nowadays. I have always felt that way and pretty much any time I see someone with brightly colored hair wonder if that person knows what it took to make it OK for people on the street to accept them for looking like that. Change always threatens people but after awhile it becomes normal and then it's like "Hmpf ... nobody cares anymore". Anyway the world owes punk rock a huge thank you for normalizing so much about the way we all act and look that people take for granted today. And it all started with outcasts like Pat Smear and Darby Crash / Bobby Pin.
Pat Smear. Fucking Legend.
I love pats vibe. Always happy.
Smearnoff vodka? 😃 Love the Foo's.
Awesome interview!..The guy taking the interview nailed it
Legends!....Rockers who did it all!!....Thank You for being hard and true to the game!!....
I want to hear the rest from the Naomi Campbell-hittin-on-Dave Grohl-story!!!!
what the hell is up with the dislikes?
Why so many thumbs down!?
I love Dave, of course, but Pat is just stinkin' cute! He seems like such a sweet person.
foo fighters for life
The interviewer should've said "Nate-ural Light" when talking about beers named after the Foos.
