Yes, I actually miss these days in GOT. Deep in seasons 3-6. Just that impending sense of dread and despair that stays with you long after you've turned the tv off.
I loved Littlefinger's death scene. Aye, the way Petyr moved was dumb (maybe it was a passionate move to get rid of Arya and have Sansa, the young version of Catelyn, all for himself). What intrigues me is that in the end he died just like Cat, desperate, begging for a chance to live, and then gets cut in the throat in a shocking way. Seriously, I loved it, and I think in the books it might even be a better build plan he executed.

I love her dynamic with Jon. I think she was one of the most compelling characters in the show, it's a shame they dropped the ball with The Long Night. The scene where she lights the Dothraki swords is iconic.
the dangerous thing about Mel is that she truly thinks Shireen is going to be with the Lord of Light and have some esteemed place in the afterlife. That somehow being burned for the Red God is a great honor.

And to think they had this all set up to be absolutely incredible and let us all down as the entire White Walker threat was destroyed unrealistically in less than one night and half an episode, with few significant casualties, little death, zero visibility, ridiculously unrealistic drama and a stupid ending... (Night King literally waiting... waiting... waiting for Arya to somehow sneak past the entire army and leap out of nowhere like an eagle in the night and murder the threat that took 7 1/2 seasons to build up... when all the Night King had to do was sit back and keep himself safe to win.)

There was so much mystery behind the lord of light and then the long knight episode happened and we got no explanation and bomb knight king was dead. So ainticliynatic. Felt like we were building up to something bigger. Hopefully the book will make the mystery better and the pay off will be better
Gran tema.
"Are you alright?" "I just got bit by a dead bear!" "Yes, you did." "Funny old life."

Just rewatching this show is a blessing, even now knowing that it ends in pitty.
What a show, what a fucking show. Even with its tainted ending, it will forever be the greatest TV show.
Not after the shitty last two seasons
