Several yrs ago, after Sri Karunamayi, Her devotees, including myself, had spent hours meditating on Mt. Rainier, we ate lunch, drove, and then stopped again for a short while. As Amma and others stopped and walked on, I was so happy to find lovely flowers that I had previously offered to photos of Amma's feet! I quickly picked a few colors and caught up to the others. Right away, I gave my small bouquet to Sri Karunamayi. And right away, She asked me the name of the flowers. I wasn't sure, but then another devotee said, "These flowers are called 'Impatiens." !! Immediately, everyone began to laugh and laugh, but I was thinking "Oh, dear!" However, later at home in CA, I did keep in mind to offer these lovely colors to Amma's feet! Ah, but how? I would pinch off the tiny stem on the flower stalk, then quickly dip the flower itself in water, AND place it (& more) on top of a large abd lovely photo of my forever Guru's Divine Feet. (See below) These sweet petal tops would stay there for several, several days! Later I would bring these Impatiens to our satsang, along with many flower petals, where we all took our turns in offering to Her Lotus Feet! Jai Sri Karunamayi!!💞💞💞 With Love, Love, Love P.S. To offer these Impatiens, just go to a local Garden Store where you live!
