As a kid in the 1950s I can remember when most of these cars were new. Back when Cokes were a nickel. I bought a decent 1955 Chevrolet 2dr hardtop in 1969 for a hundred dollars, running, legal, no dents, no cracked glass.
Hi mate, that yellow 32 Tudor was just awesome, I'm not usually a sedan type guy but that one has really hooked me bad. Definitely my favorite car of the whole video. Well done and cheers from Australia.
Matt the sounds are just awesome. That 1963 split window Corvette was beautiful. That 50 Country Squire Woody was a great car as well. I’m really all that excited about the Air Bag Cars. I prefer the stock suspension. A great show. Sam’s Space did this same show. Just can’t get enough of seeing these cars. Matt you do a wonderful job. And the leg work. That makes your channel special.
Grew up not that far from here. One of the reasons I'm a car guy. Montgomery Wards and Porky's on Fri/Sat/Sun were huge growing up. North St Paul and Blacksmith in Hugo are my go to, but not the same as cruising University Ave.
Wow, thank you!! Definitely a serious show/ event.... Need to add this to my calendar for sure!! Is there RV/Camper spots for rent there ( similar to Carlise)..
By the way, that ME-code Goldenglow Yellow and Colonial White Parklane wagon was a one year only model and was the only '56 Ford wagon to have a snap-in vinyl load-space cover. Engine was the famous M-code "Thunderbird V-8" 292-cid or the optional mid-model-year P-code "Thunderbird Special V-8" 312-cid (with Fordomatic Dr and larger tires only). Production was only 15,186.
Want proof a car was built around Headers? Approximately 9:38 into the Video you will see a Rat/Gasser with the usual straight Front Axel raised up a good foot and on top of that the Engine was raised an additional foot so they could use Headers that were 4'6" to 5 foot long that would've interfered with the Frame, so that's why the engine was raised 12"! Absolutely Nutz....

Best show around. The cars, the food, and the people. I think my favorite was that slammed fire truck. That thing was cool.

I think the final number of cars was close to 10k which is amazing.
So crazy to have that many in one place. Good times!!! 👍
Where is this at?

Hi matt thanks for the great show . Cheers mate🇦🇺
Cheers! You bet! 👍
Great show, but would have been nice to see some of the beauties on the South/West side of the grounds near the Midway.
Matt - My birthday is on Monday. Thanks for the incredible early birthday gift, my friend! Also, Happy Independence Day! Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Happy Birthday Judith!! Hope it's a good one! 🎂
To determine the year of original condition vehicles, look at the taillights where the year of mfg. is in the part number.
Just as long as a ain't a repro taillight lens! Then it doesn't matter.
Love your videos I’m just curious do you also have a classic car?
Thanks man. Glad you enjoy them. I currently do not.
You can have a classic car show simply by going to Cuba. Of course the cars are mostly held together by Bondo. 😂
Would love to see all those cars!
That Ranchero was a 57 model
МашаАллах ❤❤❤👍 👍

It should be illegal to drive a beautiful convertible through a car show with the top up. 😂
Cadillac had the biggest fins
Cars were artful from the factory back in the day. What happened?
Это мой любимый История пятидесятых
Gta vice cty cuban hermes
Yeah, In Awww !
9:15 what year and model is that car? Looks like a 59 buick but can't seem to find one with those tailights
I do believe that's a 60 Pontiac Bonneville.
