More and more this prop firm is very quickly seeming like it's the next big prop firm in the overall prop firm space! I love how this prop firm has all 3 major prop firm options all with their own unique spin on it which makes it their own. Funded trading plus has an instant funding, 1-step funding and a 2-step model. So they should have something for most types of traders out there. I love how FT+ has no minimum nor maximum time limits and allows EAs!

The Funded Trading Plus drawdown model is seriously underappreciated. The limit on how much one can risk, and therefore make, is really the drawdown rules. If you have to keep the drawdown within 5-6%, then you have to make the position size quite small, otherwise price shocks can threaten your account. With these guys, it looks like once you have reached the breakeven point, you can have 10, 20%+ drawdowns, which gives the trader a lot more latitude to size up positions

Is that true ? I still can't get why one account is 6% and the other is 10%, what is the difference?
@@yoi1818 the 10% drawdown one is due to there being 2 phases u need to pass (it’s basically harder) while the 6% drawdown is only one phase
Their research team is awesome. They don't copy paste the common idea. They provide what traders really want. But I don't know why they don't advertise too much. Because of lack of advertising many traders don't know them.

The reason they use eightcap is that broker allow you to set up your own prop firm- unfortunately with limitation set by broker like silly drowdawn rules. Ment funding ( and perhaps som others) using it as well wit almost identical rules.

Best prop firm I've came across. One thing that could improve your company to the next level is to have a trial account available for us to test out and get a real feel for your company. And no, just creating a demo account with Eightcap won't offer the same experience as if we were to trade for your firm under your rules, tks...

Ment funding use almost the same rules, and lux trading firm got no time constrain either
Max drawdown for master trader program (instant funding) is little bit different from my forex funds or the 5ers. Must be careful in this drawdown. Looks like a hybrid. You get max drawdown 5% from initial balance. But as you gain profit let say you get profit to $5100 then the max drawdown move to $4850 (5% from $5100). Different from mff and the 5ers, when you got profit to %5100, your max drawdown still 5% from initial balance which is $4750.
The advantage of ft+ is when you gain profit more than 5%, your drawdown is set fix to initial balance, so when you got profit more than 5% you also get max drawdown higher.

But scaling is useless - if you got 100k.account and made 10k, your drawdawn is set to 100k, if you withdraw 5k your drawdawn is only 5 % ( 5k you have left). But if you request scale - to 200k your drawdawn is still only 5k- becasue they don't scale drawdawn. Also if you want withdraw funds before reaching 10% target -you can but somehow it reduce drawdawn ( don't know how - but that is in FAq/ withdrawal).

Likely not, FTP don't have cTrader platform and don't plan to add it in the future, so traders who don't want to use the horrible archaic piece of software (MT4,5) will stay with FTMO or hopefully My forex funds will also introduce cTrader soon. FTMO has the 30 days limit, but if you trade well and follow the rules, they will extend your time by 14 days or give you a free repeat.
I have no problem trading with MT4. The most important is to consistently make profit.
They won't. Mainly because the rules that you have to you your own fund for drowdawn once reached 10% of profit. And scaling is not.adding drowdawn.

Ive seen a few utube adverts by this guy showing how he passed the FTMO challenge etc .... and now he's MD of a prop firm !!

Your rules are killing the game. And are excellent for the TRADER! Personally I’ve been funded 5 times on The Funded Trader and never made it to a payout. The huge payout gap allows for failure. I love this firm from top to bottom. I can’t wait to do business with you guys.

Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower time frame trend).Trend on 4H chart is the best trend guide for majority of forex traders( if one keeps trades for 2-5 days). By the time trader realizes that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 3-5 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 5-10,four hourly candles has enough players/juice behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset. And I seek your wisdom?
The trailing drawdown rule is ridiculous. Suppose if you are on 12k profits on a 100k account and you withdraw that then you don't have any drawdown. You lose your account this way.

Risk & reward are 2 sides of the same coin. And odds of any trade moving in favor & against are equal after thousands of runs.If you require trader to make 10%,then even with 10% loss limit odds are stacked against the trader. To compete in this space you have to meet your competition--which is growing exponentially like mushrooms in Amazon. Listen to your customers--you have to bring them in--not push them to the other side of the street. Competition first eats your lunch & then goes for your money, mansions & mistresses.

@@pawull As soon as you complete your challenge and go live, you can request a payment every week thereafter. Frankly, this was a HUGE selling point for me. So, when I put in an invoice, it’s paid out the SAME day! Best I’ve seen in the industry.

I wish their two phase didn’t trail. I’m in their single phase and like it a lot so far for my style of trading. No pressure with time constraints.

A prop firm with very generous rules for trading and very difficult rules for withdrawing. Even they will not refund your fee if you pass the evaluation. You need to make 10% on the live account to get your fee refund. But it is kept hidden in their site. Check before you commit with them.

07:19 Thats why while I appreciate Smart Prop Trader I cant join because of the 1:100 leverage . Its not rational and data driven! I know that we can manage our risk manually. But I just get concerned that the Model is not Pro trader because of this. If it gets reduced I will join. You withdraw your profit and you don’t have the account anymore. Pretty ridiculous I would say.
yeah. That is the main reason I stay away from this prop firm. The trailing drawdown rule is just way more than ridiculous
yes trading is already hard. But the limitations you mentioned like 30 days and drawdown bla bla . That doesn't make it harder. That's part of removing the idea of trading being hard.
Unfortunately, they don't have cTrader platform and don't plan to add it in the future, so for traders who don't want to use the horrible archaic piece of software (MT4,5), FTMO is the solution. If MY FOREX FUNDS also introduce the promised cTrader as well, with 12% DD, $50 cheapest account, there is really no reason to use FTP except for they don't have the 30 days limit. The draw downs are quite strict. 3%? :-O
You can trade directly through trading view with the platform which is AWESOME

FT+ Is the first company I demanded a refund from because how ass they are, luckily they did give it. Experienced extreme slippage (2 - 3x my risk amount)
Their broker, Eightcap, is used by other large prop firms like The Funded Trader and Ment Funding. So afaik Eightcap is the one responsible for market execution and slippage, not the prop firm. Your complaint is directed at the wrong entity.
How is that fair for trader on relative drawdown ? Haha big scam 😹
it's a trade off for the 1 phase. I agree it'd be unfair in a normal 2-phase

@@elAfreet This firm actually gives real money to traders. Running a prop firm is a good way to diversificate their ”portfolio” when they have hundreds of profitable traders coming to then all the time. Of course the challenge fees plays a big part also in their profits when 90 % fails.
