Tia Bia I was so lazy I waited till I got to my sister's house in Ohio to get it done. I also bought packs of her about a yeah ago to braid my hair. Who has the patience these days?😅
I just did this tonight and my hair feels and smells sooo fresh. I used this method because im taking out the braids the next day and I didn't want to go through the stress of trying to wash and detangle my hair unbraided 😶. Thing is ive tried everything possible to prevent my hair from tangling when i wash it after taking it out of a braid but nothing works. So let's see how it turns out tomorrow once I unbraid it🙏
@@lucyoforka2315 not so well unfortunately, there was a lot of product build up in the hair when i took it out ( the thick white stuff that sticks to the hair roots) could be because i also used a conditioner...i just wouldnt use a conditioner next time and just comb out the hair as best i can and then wash and condition
Thank you so much Rachel love this tip cause lord knows I need it about to do my wash day and this is perfect. Now I know how to wash my hair with protective styles. Usually I just wait until I take my braids out and wash my hair. Love this and trying it from now on 💚 subscribed also 😊
I've heard the same thing; a friend of mine had to take her braids out a few hours after getting them because her scalp was so irritated! Some ppl put the hair in an acv rinse before installing which I think will do the trick but das a lot lol!
Yes it is true! I usually do my own hair and when using braiding hair I use vinegar to remove the coating on the hair. This time I went to a stylist to get knotless braids and it’s only 2 days later and my head is itching a lot. She also used a lot of gel on my hair which can cause itching.
Yes I let it air dry throughout the night. To deal with the wet braids I wrapped the ends of the braids in a towel and it dried pretty quickly! For the top I moisturized it and put on a satin scarf as seen in the video.😊
Well, thank you for this. I just wish that my braider would have taken the time to explain how to keep these healthy and to never scratch or scrub my braids. I have so much damage. On top of that, I discovered I have dermatitis on my scalp and now I’m having trouble finding a breeder who will take it down before I see a doctor. It’s a whole mess, anyway, I’m going to try this route and then my own braid down in a few days. I’m praying my hair isn’t too damaged. 😢
Thanks for these tips. I’m going to wash my braids this weekend. The flakes and itchiness is out of control!
These braids are done so well!!!! I wish mine looked like this ebery single time. They are perfect! Style, amount, size. And thanks for the tips!
Acv works wonders I love using that as a cleanser . Love the braided hairstyle on you . Your so pretty ❤️
I totally agree I've been thinking of going back to just cleansing with ACV. Thank you so much!😘
Zero frizz!?! Ima do this when I get my braids. I’ve purchased the hair 6 months ago to do it. But I’m too lazy to do it 🤣🤣

What camera are you using? I need to know, the quality is too good
Can you use a spray bottle as well?
Ppl say there’s a chemical in the braiding hair that causes the itch as well.

I soak my hair in vinegar and conditioner or else my scalp gets ridiculously irritated

Do you letnit air dry? Especially washing at night
