Surisis It seems to me that every time there is a team that will possibly compete with the patriots something changes! I am so sick and tired of it everybody thinks Tom Brady is so great I guarantee you 100% if you put the Philadelphia eagles in that division for the last 20 years they would have six Super Bowls to. Literally Tom Brady is 1-3 versus the NFC East and that one came off of spy gate cheaters!! Think about that he’s 5-0 Vs the rest of the league 1-3 versus the NFC East. I think if you put any one of the four teams in that division they would win the Super Bowl many times. It should be New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Denver or the Colts. I mean Dallas is in the NFC East. That would’ve be a power division. And You would give those other teams a chance to have a winning record
@@jffry24 If Brady had to play anywhere else where the refs weren't aiding his victories, the media wasn't constantly blowing him, the other teams in his division were no longer his farm system, and the best white players on offense were no longer being funneled to him, then he'd actually have to prove he was the goat. Football is savage injury, surgery, rehab, CTE.......and countless other problems! Football ain’t worth the physical beating for a measly few million dollars. Andrew Luck did the right thing!
Skip is still bent because Luck ruined his "hot" take in the draft that RG3 would have a far better career. Skip was and is still wrong and Luck deserves to be happy. Colts never got him a line and there goes another potential great buried in a bad organization.
Andrew got that KD injury I feel like he’s going to come back when he’s a 100% again he’s probably stepping away so he’s not pressured to come back too soon

That's what I don't understand. Indy "fans" trying to get their ticket money refunded. Would they still be trying if he went down for the season in week one? A lot of that fan base makes no sense to me.
This tough to hear Andrew Luck retiring its sad to say the least but its whats best for him and his health but like Shannon said we might be having a different conversation next year if he decides to come back and fully heal
It is never too early for Skip to be harshly objective. Never! The fact that he has to point that out is a bit of an issue. And I am being kind here...
This is honestly some of the best analysis of the luck retirement. Irsay and grigson are 99% to blame. Lucks unwillingness to throw the ball away led to a plethora or turnovers and sometimes he took hits that he shouldn't have.
Andrew Luck didn't follow the script that everyone who is not him, his family, or teammates felt he should follow. Some fans seem to think it is a player's responsibility to follow an arbitrary script they think a player should follow to suit their own personal needs and don't like it when players act like human beings who make decisions for themselves the way the rest of us do.
Andrew Luck had enough respect for football (teammates, coaches, fans and others involved) and himself that he said if he can't give everything then that's not good enough and you deserve someone who is willing and capable of giving their all.
Boy did that 2012 class have tons of great Topps Chrome rc cards. Can't miss players like RGIII, Trent R.....A. Luck. *In reality* Foles & Wilson are the only 2 QB's we praise. 😅 Both got that S.B. MVP
Oh b.s. Brady gets rid of the ball faster than most everyone, and never runs. These running QB always get hurt, unless they are sliding wizards like Russell.
Ben Mercer have you not watched football for the past 20 years? Maybe 2-3 seasons has TB had a line that was less than stellar. And they’re all pretty recent
No, its called getting rid of the ball and not trying to be a running back. Tom Brady plays the QB position how its meant to be played. Hes not tryna be the next michael vick. I pray that mahomes, lamar jackson, and russell stay healthy as long as possible with how they play
Cantu yes he gets rid of the ball quickly. It’s part of the offense. But when he needs to step back, 90% of his career he’s been able to do that with max protection.
The man played the game and was one of the best. He gave it his all and now the game has turned on him as he chooses personal health over public perception. Speedy recovery Andrew! I pray you find your happiness and peace.
Luck's 1st year with the Colt's they went 11-5 and went to the playoffs (he had 7 game winning drives). 2nd year 11-5 won a playoff game. 3rd year 11-5 won 2 playoff games. 4th year the injuries started.
Just as Sandy Koufax, arguably the greatest left-handed pitcher EVER, retired at 30, instead of facing a life of constant pain, Andrew Luck chose a life that allowed him to live as he saw fit.
Wow, coming to this 4 years later and Skip's response is so tone deaf, it's actually embarrassing. Watching Skip try to brag and claim he knew Andrew Luck wasn't that good and just glossing over the fact that Andrew Luck took so much physical abuse in his 7 years in the NFL, you can really understand why Shannon had had enough.

Houston better look to Indy as a wake up call because this could be Watson's fate if management doesn't address their own O-line.
Way to go Colts management for running this man's career.
Past managment* we got rid of the cancer that was grigson/pagano
They also f*****-up Manning's
@@DeosPraetorian I'm glad he won a super bowl with thr broncos.
@@DeosPraetorian Nah. Manning choked multiple times.
I love how I got a nation wide commercial with Peyton Manning before this video.
michael scott retiring from dunder mifflen was way more shocking than any of these athletes retiring
Coincidence? 😂😂😂😂
I got a pepto ad?
Hey Andrew Luck retired! Oh really? Let's find a way to make this about Tom Brady and the Patriots.
I.E. If he played in Houston.
His name is Luck, his teams logo is a horse shoe. And yet he has some of the worst luck I've seen
Damn
The irony!!!!
Luck can be bad or good
The Flash 2019 lol
Andrew: * Pulls out some hair, gives it to you * Here, have some Luck
5:06 this is why Skip is the GOAT. No other analyst is even analyzing this situation just saying yeah he got beat up nice career fans shouldn't boo, no interesting thought processes. Thank God for Skip Bayless always gives the real interesting dissections!
The Colts were tired of drafting Superbowl-winning QBs for other teams, so this time they ruined Andrew Luck's career. Nice one
Skip has been right about a lot of players and his predictions whether you love or hate guy.
Love the colts , and Andrew wish they gave him a great line sooner
Football is savage injury, surgery, rehab, CTE.......and countless other problems! Football ain’t worth the physical beating for a measly few million dollars. Andrew Luck did the right thing!
Thats also one reason why euro football is the greatest TEAM sport ever...
Marcus M. Mahomes upcoming 200 mil is not measly
@@josegalvan4995 Whats 200 million if you cant enjoy it... ?
Jose Galvan
Millions pale in comparison to your health.......F$@k money!
Marcus M. Generational wealth,
He's definitely in the top 1% of NFL Players , a Stanford graduate he'll probably end up a CEO of a major company .
Lol no not even close. He was a bust
He has an architectural degree so I can see him designing some football houses and immaculate designs
Th3 Envy p
A bust? Lay off the coke...
His father, Oliver Luck is Commissioner of the XFL, so you have to think that Andrew Luck will be around football somehow
Th3 Envy p lol I’d love to be a bust then
Skip is still bent because Luck ruined his "hot" take in the draft that RG3 would have a far better career. Skip was and is still wrong and Luck deserves to be happy. Colts never got him a line and there goes another potential great buried in a bad organization.
I don't think it's that deep.
I mean rg3 made it to the nfc championship game and is still playing so technically he did have the better career
RG3 also had his career ruined by the team he played for
@@DeosPraetorian tru
Andrew got that KD injury I feel like he’s going to come back when he’s a 100% again he’s probably stepping away so he’s not pressured to come back too soon
If he comes back, hopefully it's for a team with a good line.
Ben Mercer he finally had a great one last year that’s why he made it to the playoffs.
The colts messed his career up period point blank
Jenny Haft every two minutes "Wow."
Luck been playing with reckless abandonment since he was in college
He was a beast
But the NFL is bigger faster guys
The Colts ain't never had a front line or a good defense
His body just couldn't take the way he plays anymore
He took a beating his whole career
Andrew Luck had both last last season.
@@mazengwe28 too little too late
It seems like when it comes to professional sports, no one wants to be truthful when it’s comes to that Achilles 👀
2012 draft is crazy going back to it
Line turned out to be top 3
Andrew Luck was and is a BEAST... if he wants to retire leave him be... if he were to get a career ending injury then perhaps people would be crying
That's what I don't understand. Indy "fans" trying to get their ticket money refunded. Would they still be trying if he went down for the season in week one? A lot of that fan base makes no sense to me.
@@tommysixrings6026 yup kind of with what happened with KD... he reportedly had a calve injury too then he got an Achilles injury
This was the moment the titans were revitalized lol
Wishing Luck the best!
now I finally understand what "Peyton's Place" means. It's a hospital wing! Got it!!!
His health comes first. Good for you Andrew Luck it’s best to put yourself first
Looking back at this and it’s a theory I think he torn his Achilles and they didn’t wanna release that information
That's what I believe as well. He was like I banged up my shoulder had a great year. Now I tear my achilles I'm done
Poor guy must be devastated to give up on the fans and his team so close to kick off. Hope you heal and enjoy the rest of your life Mr. Luck.
You've never seen punishment like what Andrew Luck took????!!! SKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPP have you never seen Cam Newton?
alextrose7 people will always be blind to Cam. So dumb i can’t stand it
Romo is the ultimate example, ran for his life on the field most of his career and then was unscrupulously battered by the media for most of it also.
Is there any video compilation of Luck getting banged up? I wanna see all the hits they're talking about.
Magic definitely had the most shocking retirement
Damn. Completely flew over my head
This tough to hear Andrew Luck retiring its sad to say the least but its whats best for him and his health but like Shannon said we might be having a different conversation next year if he decides to come back and fully heal
You see what happens when you dont draft for o-line? Your Qb suffers.
I love hearing from people who have played the game!
When in doubt
RETIRE. 💎
Somewhere out there I actually called this after the end of last season. Hope he gets well and has a good life.
Andy is going to smoke lungdarts in Cabo
It is never too early for Skip to be harshly objective. Never! The fact that he has to point that out is a bit of an issue. And I am being kind here...
"How can I turn every discussion into a discussion about Brady or the Cowboys?"
- Skip
michael preller you forgot Lebron
Love listening to u guys.....
Keep up the great work....
This is honestly some of the best analysis of the luck retirement. Irsay and grigson are 99% to blame. Lucks unwillingness to throw the ball away led to a plethora or turnovers and sometimes he took hits that he shouldn't have.
NO ONE CRITICIZED PATRICK WILLIS WHEN HE RETIRED AND CHOSE HEALTH SO STOP WITH THE B.S. TO ALL WHO THINK THIS WASNT BEST FOR ANDREW 💯🏈💎
King Sharp man do I miss Patrick Willis
@@Lamarblaze24 IM A NINER FAN HAVE BEEN ALL MY LIFE HE WAS A SPECIAL LINEBACKER ONE OF THE BEST TO EVER LACE EM UP I MISS HIM TOO 💯🏈
He played 10 years and didn't quit right before the season.
@@kingsharp2088 and Chris Borland. He played what, 2 seasons?
Andrew Luck didn't follow the script that everyone who is not him, his family, or teammates felt he should follow. Some fans seem to think it is a player's responsibility to follow an arbitrary script they think a player should follow to suit their own personal needs and don't like it when players act like human beings who make decisions for themselves the way the rest of us do.
Andrew Luck had enough respect for football (teammates, coaches, fans and others involved) and himself that he said if he can't give everything then that's not good enough and you deserve someone who is willing and capable of giving their all.
Everybody forgot about #4FAVRE RETIREMENT! All Time Great
Aris Young FACTS
Boy did that 2012 class have tons of great Topps Chrome rc cards. Can't miss players like RGIII, Trent R.....A. Luck. *In reality* Foles & Wilson are the only 2 QB's we praise. 😅 Both got that S.B. MVP
I’ll keep saying it. ALL NFL PLAYERS SHOULD TAKE A YEAR OFF!
Especially running backs.
Shannon just uttered the words "Aaron Hernandez ". This is a family show man 😂
Tom Brady has been the most protected QB in the league that’s why Skip.
No he just has Dante Scarnecchia coaching his o line
No, its called getting rid of the ball and not trying to be a running back. Tom Brady plays the QB position how its meant to be played. Hes not tryna be the next michael vick. I pray that mahomes, lamar jackson, and russell stay healthy as long as possible with how they play
Cantu yes he gets rid of the ball quickly. It’s part of the offense. But when he needs to step back, 90% of his career he’s been able to do that with max protection.
Hard to believe he is gone
6:58 HAHHAHAHAH. I LOVE SHANNON SHARPE.. LOL
The man played the game and was one of the best. He gave it his all and now the game has turned on him as he chooses personal health over public perception. Speedy recovery Andrew! I pray you find your happiness and peace.
Same thing will happen to Deshaun if the Texans don’t protect him.
Luck's 1st year with the Colt's they went 11-5 and went to the playoffs (he had 7 game winning drives). 2nd year 11-5 won a playoff game. 3rd year 11-5 won 2 playoff games. 4th year the injuries started.
The Miami-Florida game was so bad it made Andrew Luck quit sports halfway through
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm a Gator fan and this comment is accurate.
It used to be difficult to listen to shannon... he spoke strangely... but he's gotten better! Nice work!
He tried too hard, too much pressure was put on him from the start. Not only to win and be great but he followed a legend. Awful lot to live up too.
im convinced skip is just on the show to say outrageous things that spark conversation
Just as Sandy Koufax, arguably the greatest left-handed pitcher EVER, retired at 30, instead of facing a life of constant pain, Andrew Luck chose a life that allowed him to live as he saw fit.
Many blessings to that man
I'm a old Baltimore colts fan and Ir say has been screwing up careers since Bert Jones.Bad mamnagment period!
