The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Behind the Scenes CGI

Senior VFX Supervisor Jerome Chen, CG Supervisor Bob Winter, and Animation Supervisor Dave Schaub give us a behind the scenes look at the iconic clock tower sequence in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

this is why TASM and raimi trilogy looked more realistic they did it with practical elements but in toms they just use cgi mostly thats why the ironman suit looks so unrealistic too

Wazzat true. When I was a kid back in the 2000's they blended Practical Effects with CGI Effects but now and days Films use CGI all the time. It's so over used. The Raimi Trilogy blended in CGI and Practical Effects but in The Webb Trilogy they Rely Heavily on CGI
