Careful with how much the percussion is isolated from the sample. Imo that's really bad for catching vibes/freestyling. Makes your beat sound more like a background tune than a instrumental. There's something with the highs/lows that you did here which makes the kicks and snares sound like they're not a part of the sample. Also you kinda use too many vocals here and too little looping imo.

What Jonko Johnson is saying is that your snares are too low and your 808s are too high or are not leveled with the melody itself either way you said it yourself it’s a new style and I’m guessing you want to make more beats like this. Just remember to keep everything leveled and should the snares and hi hats be lower than the 808s just make sure that the 808s arnt 1000% louder. and that the hats and snares are NOT compressed more than the melody (sample) and 808s themselves 😭😭🪩
