Let me know if you’ve hiked in high elevation before and if it was tough on you. The elevation is always a tough one for me. But definitely worth it to see those views.
Hiking in high elevation can be a bit tough. I find that once above the 11k mark you can feel it and above the 12k mark you can definitely feel the difference. Just take it a little slower and stay plenty hydrated, it helps.
Hey Jason! That's so cool that you and your buddies went to Colorado over the 4th of July weekend. The water crossings were so beautiful, and so was all the scenery. We can imagine you guys felt the elevation strong.. starting out at 10K feet coming from Kentucky. The lakes you went to were so stunning, and awesome you got to camp at a couple of them. Love the fact that the Jeeps were able to go on these off road paths and you could get to explore more.. that would have been amazing. How random and crazy that you wanted to go fishing, and then found a random fishing pole laying around.. Pretty lucky! But not sure how lucky you were in catching fish!! Great to see you on this journey and enjoying mother earth!! Great video and lots of love to you and your family!
Thanks Bears and Butters. This was such a great trip. The scenery going up Falls Creek Pass was some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. I seen huge waterfalls and snow cap mountains and little animals. It was incredibly beautiful and I had such a great time with some old friends. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a fun day Bears and Butters. Love you guys to the moon and back. 😃😃
This is awesome!! What a time ! It's beautiful out there! I have never hiked elevation like that. A good crew to boot!!! We still have some snow in the white mountains too!!! It's amazing. This was a fun watch with my morning coffee.
unowho travel channel thanks. Going up over Falls Creek Pass was some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Colorado is such a beautiful place for backpacking.
"Who says you can't find good things when you gotta go poop?" LMAO! Never heard it said before, but it is true. Awesome views. Thanks for sharing your adventure. :)

Thanks on making it 1K. Lots of fun guys to go backpacking with. They keep me laughing. Those Jeeps were awesome. It was so cool watching them go up that mountain and it looked like so much fun. That area in Colorado was some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Absolutely incredible out there.
Thanks Kathleen. Colorado was so much fun. Really beautiful scenery everywhere out there. I’m truly blessed by God to be able to see that scenery. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a good week.
What an epic trip with your friends to Colorado Jason! Those lakes were stunning & that fishing pole just being there was fate, great fishing too. I wish you a lovely Wednesday with a full view always and big like 73

Great title for this video Jason! Incredible sights everywhere there! Being smart and safe makes for a fun trip because the opposite is certainly not worth it. Thanks for taking us along brother!
Thanks. I thought the title was appropriate. Lol. When we got to Fancy Pass it was about 400 ft of snow knee deep straight up. Lol. We walked up a little bit and was like no way guys. It’s not worth it. Lol. Good times with good friends Doug
Fantastic video, Jason! What an epic trip. Boy, that brought back some great memories. With a bit of snow on those mountains the views you had were even better than when I was there. It's too bad you couldn't make it over Fancy Pass but I have no doubt you made the right call, and you explained the decision well - if it doesn't feel right, don't take the chance! It was tough enough making it over Fancy Pass with bone-dry rocks - I can't imagine how sketchy it would be in deep snow. The campsite you had at Hunky Dory Lake on night #1 is the exact spot where Christian and I stayed - very cool! (Ahhh.... memories). What a great hiking crew, too - wish I could have joined you guys. Thank you, Jason - Well done!
Thanks David and a huge thanks for all the help you gave me for this trip. Your notes helped out so much!! I’m definitely glad we didn’t try going over Fancy Pass. It was extremely dangerous. But the views from Falls Creek was some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Thanks again David for all the help and hopefully we can do some more backpacking together really soon.
wow! look at that view! so beautiful! Colorado backpacking is my bucket list! such an amazing place! glad you guys had a great time! Great share Jason!👍
Thanks Becca. It was a great trip with great friends. I try and see Colorado once a year. It’s so beautiful out there. Falls Creek Pass might be some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Have a great week Becca!!
Beautiful Man! This is why I love your videos. It’s good when the hiking is a bit tough - makes you feel more alive! Good decision on changing your plans. I always think when I’m hiking in the mountains that they’re not a theme park, they’re just doing their thing. It’s up to you to treat them with respect. Push yourself to your limits but stay safe. What a trip Jason! And with such with a nice bunch of guys. Thanks for sharing it! - ATB, Mark 👍
Thanks Mark. This was an incredible trip with a bunch of great friends. The scenery was so beautiful and probably some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. It was definitely difficult but absolutely worth it. Have a great week my friend
Gatewood Brown thanks. Colorado was so awesome!! Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. The BSing show with the Schill Brothers was a blast. I always love hanging out with those guys. Congrats on your channel Gatewood. It’s really blowing up. Well deserved my friend 👍
Backpacking With Jason Colorado scenery is incredible, you’re spot on about that! They have a good show for sure, easy going guys they’re very knowledgeable about backpacking. Thanks man! Yeah the momentum slowed down a bit but still blown away by the growth recently. Let’s try to replicate that in 2021
This trip is by far the most beautiful place. Great group for this trip as well. Altitude hiking is a different breed of animal, I've never hiked at those altitudes but can imagine. Epic trip. Thank you for sharing. Take care Jason.
RedWhite&Blue 78 thanks. This was such a great trip!! Even with the elevation bothering me you can’t help but love the scenery around you. Plus those guys keep me laughing. Lol. Have a great day Jason.
WOW Jason. What a hike. Beautiful scenery. Bummer you guys couldn't get over Fancy pass but it looks like you guys had a great time. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Thanks. I was really hoping to get over Fancy Pass, especially since I walked 3 miles to the top. Lol. But it was just to dangerous. Maybe with snow shoes. Colorado was so beautiful. Can’t wait to get back out West again.
What an awesome trip. Those views were incredible. Props to you guys for doing so well at elevation. And what a great crew to hike with ... some of my favorite people. I'm sure the stories and the jokes around the campfires were memorible. I think the red color in the snow is from algae. So glad you shared this experience. Absolutely made my day!!😎😎
Thanks Fred!! There some of my favorite people too. Those guys are a blast to go backpacking with. Especially in Colorado. The scenery was so incredibly beautiful out there Fred. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a good evening my friend.

YES , almost every lake has fish ,, my primary reason to be there .. Don't forget your fishing pole next time ....Stay Safe and God Bless ...
Thanks. Holy Cross Wilderness was incredible. Thanks for the tips on the elevation. I’m definitely going to take ibuprofen each morning for sure. The altitude really got to this Kentucky boy 😁😁. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice. I was stationed in Co. years ago. The Army gave us 30 days to get use to the altitude. So we could get used to running our morning PT runs in time. Got home to Pa and I could run further than Forrest Gump. Ha Ha . Lower altitude helps even more for that. Stay Safe. you guys. My Dream hammock Raven is in the mail. Can't wait , but I will have to to see it.
jeffrey donaldson it’s so tough to breathe in that elevation. Every morning I thought I was going to throw up. Lol. Thank you for your service 👍. Your going to love your Dream Hammock!! It’s the best hammock I’ve ever slept in.
Huck Outdoors I highly recommend this area. Some of that scenery around Falls Creek Pass is some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Definitely a fun trip. Good times with good friends.
Great video, great trip. Beautiful country. Those afternoon thunderheads are certainly something to watch out for. Glad you choose the safe decisions. You are not kidding about the high altitude hiking. It seems you had a mild case of altitude sickness but you fortunately powered through it. Awesome adventure. Take care.
@@BackpackingWithJason So awesome. The Rockies are so amazing. My wife and I just finished our through hike of the High Uintas Highline Trail. The altitude got her bad but we managed. It was such and awesome trip. Videos to come. Take care Jason. We will see you on the next one.
Yes altitude will do crazy things and every one is different, some examples are lack of appetite, dehydration , dizziness, stomach aches , headaches, strong sun (sun block a must!) For me I take three days to acclimate to high altitudes above 10K ft and then lower at night, this works for me and then I'm go .....great video I'm sure that u all had fun and lots of laughs. Keep on stepping
Mike aka Frosty Humphreys thanks. The elevation definitely had me feeling a lot of those things. Appetite probably the most. I had to force myself to eat breakfast. But it was definitely worth it. That scenery was so beautiful and the guys I was with were so much fun. Good times with good friends
That was an amazing trip, Jason! I get that slurred speech at elevation too. Shoot, it's seems 11k is my brick wall and it's lead boots from then on. Just amazing how there in CO you are over 10 from the get go. So great job kicking that many miles on the 1st day with very little sleep. That's a trip for the record books!!!
Thanks. It’s incredibly beautiful out there. I always love Colorado. That elevation was definitely a butt kicker. Lol. We stayed over 11,000 pretty much the whole trip. Really got to me in the morning times. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a good evening
This is a beautiful hike, Jason. I’m glad you made that call not to go. I did the same on Kraft mountain hike. I got nervous on some of the climbing 🧗♀️. I can do it but as I get older I get wiser. That’s cool stuff you have in the flames. looks so beautiful and then the moon shot. Oh no , no , no swimming in that snow water. take care my friend
Thanks. The elevation and scenery is so much different than our east coast hiking. I only get out west once or twice a year. Really incredible views out there
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in. The altitude really got to me in the morning times. It was rough but definitely worth it.
Thanks. It was wild walking around in snow in July. Lol. Tony I’m truly blessed to go out to see Colorado. My camera did it no justice. Incredibly beautiful out there.
Looked like an epic trip, with a great bunch of guys / you tubers! I love that time of year when you get up in to the high country and have to walk through the snow. Too bad you couldn't make it over the pass, but you made the most of it. How about Tim's beard though....
For a guy from Kentucky it was definitely pretty wild seeing snow in July. The elevation was pretty tough on me too. But it was all worth it. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. I never thought Tim would leave the mustache look. Lol.
Nice video brother. Altitude is no joke. I had to stop after 60 miles last year on an intended 180 mile hike in Colorado. I think it was more the heat than the altitude for me. The sun is stronger at altitude and I am a MN dude. Planning to finish the 120 in September when it is cooler. I am starting over 10,000 ft and it stays there most of the hike. Thanks for the vid and keep on hiking.
Midwest Backpacker the elevation bothered me the most in the morning time. That trip your on sounds awesome!! My face definitely got sunburnt while up there. I’m with you on the heat and sunshine. I wonder if Milosh would go to Colorado with you 🤔. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend and can’t wait to go backpacking with you one day
I loved the views very much! It does reminds me a bit of the Alps here in Europe, but in Colorado it must be all so much bigger and wilder! I don't know if I would like to take a Jeep up, the views are so much better when you first have to work your way up before seeing them! Cheers my friend!
Thanks. Colorado views are incredibly beautiful. The people driving Jeeps up there was wild but there trails went in different directions. To get over the passes you have to walk. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day
Love, love, love Colorado. Everywhere you look is jaw dropping beautiful. Elevation always kicks my butt. Next time take diamox for a week before going. Then pack some Tums for the trail. Sounds crazy but it works, at least it does for me. You guys ready to do the Collegiate Loop next year? Let’s go!
Just Walkin' I’ll definitely try and take that on my next trip. Thanks so much for the input. I’ve never taken diamox, but I’m definitely going to try it. I really felt rough sometimes on the trip. Especially in the morning time. I’m going to have to look into the Collegiate Loop. Never heard of it. Is there 14,000 footers there?
Glad everything was Hunky Dory at the lake. People leaving things in the wilderness annoys me, you may have noticed. At least you got some fishing out of it LOL
That’s funny on Hunky Dory Lake 😂😂😂. I hope they just forgot there fishing pole. I left it back where we found it. I just wish I’d caught a fish. Lol. Have a great day Desmond’s
That elevation was definitely no joke. It really had me messed up at times and especially in the morning time. But it was all worth it. The scenery is so incredible. It really kept a smile on my face.
Gorgeous scenery! I don’t know how you made it through without just stopping and soaking it in. So different from the east coast. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. You are correct. The scenery is so much different than the east coast. I really love getting out there when I can. Some of those views are the best I’ve ever seen
It is incredible!! We stopped by Fancy lake to wait out a storm and had some lunch after we couldn’t get over Fancy Pass. Fall Creek Summit was so incredible!! That area might be some of the best scenery I’ve ever been around. I love Colorado!! Thanks for watching and commenting and have a good evening
Beautiful trip lots of great views and good times. I've hiked lots of elevation out west but haven't backpacked any of it yet. Oddly enough the elevation gets me more in Colorado than anywhere else I've been it's weird.
Backpacking With Jason I need to get a backpacking trip planned for Colorado. I live next door and have not backpack in Colorado yet. I’ve done plenty of hiking though.
@@BackpackingWithJason i'l definitely have to do that. Was so bummed about missing it this year. Im going to the roan mountains to make up for it next month. Just day hiking though.
Great video! We're looking into doing this loop, or a variant of it, and were wondering if you recall seeing any campsites away from the lakes, we're not fond of mosquitoes and tend to try and lessen our exposure by camping away from water when possible. Love the lakes, just not the flying vampires! FYI, sending the same question to the rest of the group too...you guys should come back and give it another go.
Thanks. Going up to the first summit there was plenty of camping past the Lake. I didn’t see many campsites on the second summit that we couldn’t pass over , besides the lake areas. Have fun out there. It was one of the most beautiful trails I’ve ever been on.
@@BackpackingWithJason thanks for the reply! Always looking for campsites when we're out there so as not to disturb the area by creating new ones. We'll be watching your video again, great area.
Hey Jason - I was wondering if/when you were coming out to do this hike. Great adventure and I like your advice from Fancy Pass - if you're not sure and confident, look to Plan B. Glad you had a great time! FYI - That red snow is called 'watermelon snow' and it's caused by algae.
MidLife Adventures thanks. Watermelon Snow. Very interesting. I was wondering what that was. Fancy Pass was definitely to dangerous to go over. But Falls Creek Pass was incredible!! I’m blown away by how beautiful it is up there. My camera does it no justice. Can’t wait for my next trip to Colorado. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day.
Great video, we’re doing a trip there this month and grateful for the sneak peak. P.S. we usually hike every week in high elevations in the Uintas for our channel and can attest, CO is definitely harder. 😎
Thanks. It’s absolutely beautiful out there. The scenery goes on forever. You guys are going to absolutely love it out there. Have fun and definitely do a video!! I was really feeling the elevation up there. Especially in the mornings. You guys have a good evening
First of all, you had me at “Merica”. Your morning coffee view was epic. On the pooping view, I propose a rating scale to include: 1. Was there a view? 2. Did you see some wildlife? 3. Did you have to use much paper? 4. Was the weather/temp favorable?
Gone Feral With Squidly the scenery out there was incredible. Pooping View 😂😂 1. Beautiful views and one time a waterfall 2. Squirrels 3. Not to much 😂 4. Good temperature and had a nice breeze on my backside. Lol Your comment on the pooping views had me belly laughing 😂😂
Thanks Matthew. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in. The ear piece is my Bose Headphones. Sometimes it’s easier for recording in windy conditions or if I’m far away from my camera. It helps with the noise.
I definitely had some problems breathing up there. I kept taking ibuprofen every 6 hours and forced myself to keep drinking lots of water. That really helped me out. Have fun up there 👍
Dude I am so jealous! I’ve hiked in Colorado before but never in a wilderness area, this was a trip of a lifetime, I bet! Does it make you wanna move out west?😅
Bluegrass Backcountry & Music it was definitely an epic trip. The scenery out there is incredible!! As much as I loved being out there and seeing some of the most incredible views I’ve ever seen I’d never ever move away from Kentucky 😁😁✌️
Backpacking With Jason I’m right there with you man! I moved out to Montana after college and I was back in Kentucky in a year! “You can take the man out of Kentucky, but you can’t take the Kentucky out of the man” haha
Here’s the big question ! Are you glad you took a tent that you could STRE-EEETCH out in , or would you rather have searched and searched for safe tie up and been roiled up and constricted in a hammock? GREAT hike !
Michael Peterson Backpacking that’s a tough question. I get my best sleep in the woods in my hammock, but on this trip I’m glad I had my tent. In colder conditions I really enjoy being in my tent too. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day Michael 👍✌️
Let me know if you’ve hiked in high elevation before and if it was tough on you. The elevation is always a tough one for me. But definitely worth it to see those views.
I have, and it is. No air up there, lol. Just go slow and less miles.
Hiking in high elevation can be a bit tough. I find that once above the 11k mark you can feel it and above the 12k mark you can definitely feel the difference. Just take it a little slower and stay plenty hydrated, it helps.
ManzanoMan Adventure I think I needed to definitely drink more water next time.
I tend to feel it once I pass 10k.
Backcountry Pilgrim me too. Those mornings were the toughest time for me
I'm amazed by the beauty of the landscape. Stunning views 😍😍 Awesomely filmed

Cheers Jason 👊🐕👍
Black n Tan thanks. Colorado sure is beautiful. I am planning on another trip 😁😁. But I think I’m going to try Oregon this time. 👍✌️👊
ohhhh i cant omagine how cold th eplace is thank you for sharing this holy crosss wilderness i like the tiny flower
Ate Anna’s vlog Ne-Phil thanks. Colorado was so beautiful!! Good times with good friends
I have hiked in high elevation and it only hurt my lungs but once to the top was so happy I did. What a gorgeous hike with awesome views!!!
I agree with that 100%. It’s always tough getting up there but always worth it 😁😁
Excellent video my friend, really like it👍👍👍
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful place for backpacking. Good times with good friends
Beautiful channel my friend❤️ I do love nature and mountaining, mountaining is my hobby 10 Years.
Danijela N. Thanks. Colorado is so beautiful. The scenery is so incredible out there. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a good evening 😁✌️
Right on Jason. You guys looked like had an amazing time! Holy Cross is on my list of places to go to.
Take care.
That altitude really got to me. But it was all worth it!! That hike up to Falls Creek Pass was some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen.
@@BackpackingWithJason So awesome. The Rockies are so amazing. My wife and I just finished our through hike of the High Uintas Highline Trail. The altitude got her bad but we managed. It was such and awesome trip. Videos to come. Take care Jason. We will see you on the next one.
i love the river.. so pretty..
Senja it’s so beautiful out there. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen
I'm going to have to finish watching this when I get home
cgriggsiv thanks my friend
This is a beautiful hike, Jason. I’m glad you made that call not to go. I did the same on Kraft mountain hike. I got nervous on some of the climbing 🧗♀️. I can do it but as I get older I get wiser. That’s cool stuff you have in the flames. looks so beautiful and then the moon shot. Oh no , no , no swimming in that snow water. take care my friend
Thanks my friend. Colorado is really incredible!! Good times with good friends. I wouldn’t get in that snow water either. Lol.
Crashing early is my kind of hike. Really enjoyed your video with your friends. It was a different look for you easterners like me.
Thanks. The elevation and scenery is so much different than our east coast hiking. I only get out west once or twice a year. Really incredible views out there
Great hike, this snow in the mountains in summer looks fantastic! 27:40 Repeatedly I fell into the water from such bridges :D
MobyLife the snow was so beautiful on those mountains. The scenery out there is incredible. My camera does it no justice.
Looks fun, brother... can't beat those views, but that altitude is a fool :)
I think I feel it the most when sleeping up high.
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in. The altitude really got to me in the morning times. It was rough but definitely worth it.
Wow great view.
Love those trees. ❤️
Colorado was incredible. Beautiful scenery everywhere I looked
Wow now that is a trip crushing snow in july. Great job living the good life. Views 4 days
Lol.
oh my absolutely stunning view and landscape guess it has been so awesome there!
Layila Faon thanks. Colorado is so beautiful. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Good times with good friends.
Awesome & beautiful place! What a great fun trip. Thanks for sharing! 😎
Willie Outdoors thanks. Colorado is so incredible!! Good times with good friends 👍✌️
Thanks for watching and commenting my friend and can’t wait to go backpacking with you one day
Fantastic
YBF thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful place to go backpacking in.
Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day
Fantastic tour...Thank you for sharing. greetings from Indonesia 🇲🇨🇲🇨
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in. Incredibly beautiful scenery out there
Love, love, love Colorado.
Backpacking With Jason you can bag something like a dozen of the 58 Colorado 14rs. It’s 160 miles long or just do the west route and shuttle.
amazing trip, those climbs looked tough indeed, beautiful scenery, could hear the taxing on your breathing from the altitude
I was definitely breathing hard. Those uphills I felt like I was breathing through a straw. Lol. Colorado sure is beautiful
What a great backpacking trip!👍👍👍
하이킹버디HikingBuddy thanks. The scenery out there was incredible!! Can’t wait to go again
Wow what an awesome trip! Stunning views! Thanks for sharing this my friend!
Dominic Minischetti thanks. This might be some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. Incredibly beautiful out there my friend.
Backpacking With Jason I agree absolutely stunning!
Man Colorado looks like such a beautiful place brother. Looked like a good time outdoors as always!
Colorado was so much fun!! My camera does it no justice. The views are so incredible out there.
Great video Jason. You got some great shots and that elevation is no joke!
Great hike!! I love Colorado! Looked like a great trip with great people.
All Things Out Doors thanks. Those guys are so much fun!! Colorado was so beautiful my friend
Great video! Awesome trip brother! Had a blast with all you guys
Thanks. It was such a fun trip. Good times with good friends
Looks like a killer trip! Beautiful scenery👍 hoping to get out west in early fall! Great video!
Thanks. It was a great trip. Elevation was tough but definitely worth it.
That is some trek buddy looks absolutely brilliant there
Thanks. It was a great trip with incredible views
Awesome adventure Jason. Loved the views
That Hiking Guy thanks. It was a great trip. The scenery just kept me smiling
Gorgeous views! I'd have a hard time leaving!
It’s incredibly beautiful. It’s hard not to have a smile on your face the whole time.
I was at Fancy Lake last year in late July. I couldn't get over the pass either..lol
Its incredible isn't it!
Looks like an awesome trip!
It was my brother. Now on to Oregon!! 😁😁
What an epic trip.
Yankee Tanker yes it was. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen
Beautiful trip lots of great views and good times. I've hiked lots of elevation out west but haven't backpacked any of it yet. Oddly enough the elevation gets me more in Colorado than anywhere else I've been it's weird.
Dragon Roams thanks. We should look into a trip together out west. I bet Kurt would in for it too.
@@BackpackingWithJason I would be down for that. Kurt has never been west so I know he would be interested
looks like a nice time
It was a blast. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen.
Awesome trip brother. I love the Colorado Mountains!
ManzanoMan Adventure thanks. Colorado was so incredibly beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!!
Backpacking With Jason I need to get a backpacking trip planned for Colorado. I live next door and have not backpack in Colorado yet. I’ve done plenty of hiking though.
Great travel dear
Agah Ancheta thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful place to go backpacking in. Good times with good friends
This was an awesome trip. Next time come on over to Utah.
Utah is coming really soon. I was hoping this year but of course it’s been a crazy year. Lol. But I’m sure I’ll make it out there next year!!
Cool trips, great footage !! Thumbs up !!
Your new friend.;)
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state!! Great place for backpacking fun
Dannng loving the views man! We’re actually thinking about heading to Colorado soon too!
Thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in. Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen
Gorgeous! The Colorado Rockies are so beautiful! I just subscribed!
Yoga with Sophia Colette thanks. Colorado is such a beautiful state for backpacking. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day
@@BackpackingWithJason ✨💕💫
Awesome trip!
Brian Winburn thanks. Hopefully soon you and I can do a backpacking trip together
Backpacking With Jason I look forward to it!
I need to get out there. It has been well over 2 years.
I love this area of Colorado!! Falls Creek Pass had some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen.
Looks like an incredible trip! I was supposed to go to Colorado this year to. But it got cancelled with everything going on. On my list for next year.
Thanks. I’d definitely look into this area for next year. It’s some of the best views I’ve ever seen
Thanks and have a fun weekend
I hope you did not poop in the waterfall. Kidding. What a great trip. Over 12,000 feet, that is very tough, especially for someone from your state.
That waterfall was my nature bidet. Lol. Just kidding. The elevation definitely messed with me but it was all worth it. Colorado was so beautiful
You guys have a good evening
the view was so amazing, amazingly beautiful
new friend here and wish we can work together
TRAVEL OWL thanks. Colorado was such a fun trip. Good times with good friends
Thank YOU like 72 :)))
Sylwia K_Podróże thanks. Colorado is so beautiful
First of all, you had me at “Merica”. Your morning coffee view was epic.
On the pooping view, I propose a rating scale to include:
1. Was there a view?
2. Did you see some wildlife?
3. Did you have to use much paper?
4. Was the weather/temp favorable?
Gone Feral With Squidly the scenery out there was incredible.
Pooping View 😂😂
1. Beautiful views and one time a waterfall
2. Squirrels
3. Not to much 😂
4. Good temperature and had a nice breeze on my backside. Lol
Your comment on the pooping views had me belly laughing 😂😂
Beautiful video Jason. I am wondering, what do you have the ear piece in for? I noticed you wearing it in a few videos. Thanks.
Thanks Matthew. Colorado is such a beautiful state to go backpacking in.
The ear piece is my Bose Headphones. Sometimes it’s easier for recording in windy conditions or if I’m far away from my camera. It helps with the noise.
What animal is that in 11:55 ? Snow in summer
I think it was a Marmot. I thought he wanted to fight me. 😂😂
Did u guys experience altitude sickness if so how did u deal with it. Im headed to estes park to Longs Peak over labor day 14, 200 ft
I definitely had some problems breathing up there. I kept taking ibuprofen every 6 hours and forced myself to keep drinking lots of water. That really helped me out. Have fun up there 👍
@8:16 Jeremiah doesn't know snow why you got him leading. :)
mbikesrule 😂😂😂. Good point. We should have had one of the Ohio guys leading. Probably josh. 😁
Bluegrass Backcountry & Music that is so true 😁
Here’s the big question ! Are you glad you took a tent that you could STRE-EEETCH out in , or would you rather have searched and searched for safe tie up and been roiled up and constricted in a hammock?
GREAT hike !
Michael Peterson Backpacking that’s a tough question. I get my best sleep in the woods in my hammock, but on this trip I’m glad I had my tent. In colder conditions I really enjoy being in my tent too. Thanks for watching and commenting and have a great day Michael 👍✌️
Are hammocks allowed there?
Yes they are. I brought my tent because we was thinking about staying above the tree line.
Hi Jason it’s me Kloe
