I love this so much. I built one very similarly when I was probably 10-12 years old. I had some old scrap quad parts and a tack welder! I didn't know how to gear or change any of that but I did make a sick throttle and exhaust. This is my childhood come to life.
I love, love love it!!! When I was a kid about 5 I woke up on Christmas morning and my mother and grandfather told me to go outside. I grew up on a few acres and throughout the property there was a huge figure 8... And in the middle was something very similar, my grandpa had turned his mower into a beast, painted with stripes and sitting on the seat, a matching helmet 🪖. Seeing this made my year, amazing memories and I can tell your making them as well.
And thank you for sharing with us, as soon as my 76yr old who thinks she's 50 mother wakes up I'll be sending this to her, she's going to love it. I hope you all have an awesome Sunday!

Back in Hurricane Irene in Ny, my brother and I rode our old dirt bikes through all the flooded areas and did a big ass loop around the area, through town and everything. 1980 Suzuki TS250E and a 1985 Honda XL200….bullet proof.

I've done lawnmower pulls before and seen racing but never rock crawling. I love those sears suburban rears they are built like tanks with so many gear options. The only weak point is the diff. I've broken 2 from pulling.
Funny enough...I remember as a kid I would sneak the mower out and drop the mower head off and 4 by all around our place....until I flipped it over on myself lol....that was 35 years ago.....love this!!! Rock on guys!!! Thats wicked!!!

The only person to fight my daughter had non-hosman 2 when she was 19 and she was pregnant and went to chemo and survived and my granddaughter is 17 years old so tell him to fight don't give up God bless you

I started one of these projects about a year ago until I gave up on it due to not having the time to work on it. Took it to the mountains and climbed hills for hours until it blew up and put a hole in the motor (Pedal to the metal of course) these are as crazy as your imagination. I do have another frame and engine that I want to build eventually…
@@redzz02 but small tractors do have roll bars. I'd much rather flip a quad or dirt bike over backwards (and have done) than a mini tractor while climbing something steep. Riding poisition is very different on a quad bike or dirt bike making it much easier to bail off. There's a pretty high chance if a mini tractor flips backwards going up an incline you'll end up under it.
@@garyelliot2317 we flip them all the time side ways and over backwards, id 100% not want a roll bar of any kind on any of my tractors. Theres a reason no one runs them

Stock lawn mower transaxles that have the differentials locked for posi (a must do mod) and most are running stock brake set ups as well, or modified gokart/atv/dirtbike set ups
Half of these tires have 0-2lbs of air in them, some of us do run beadlocks but most of the time arent needed, i ran half the day with a completely flat back tire and had no debeading issues
Check out a couple of my other videos! My how to cure belt slip video, and i have multiple videos on locking different mower transaxles! Basically locked axle, and atv tires and youre pretty solid starting point

Thought it was a little simpler than that. 😅 I'd like to build one but I don't have a welder and I don't have any friends w/ welders either.... I'm currently playing w/ a Modified Razor Mx650 and mine is a 48v 2000w and it does about 30-35mph depending on the battery charge, but it needs some welding work as well so I need a cheap welder. Any suggestions or would it be better to start w/ a cheap Harbor Freight welder first like a lot of people suggest¿?
@@xpndblhero5170 that wheel horse is a flat land mud bog tractor and you do not want to lift a mower for trail riding like in this video, theres most likely a shop or someone local to you that can weld the diff for you if you take it to them ready to weld, the diff is the only thing that really needs “welded” and theres even no weld locker methods out there, do not get harbor freight’s cheapest welder, get there green 110v welder (i cant think of the brand) do not get the 90amp chicago electric they are junk
I dont believe cub cadets are good offroaders, i believe they take entirely way too much expensive modifications to be able to keep up with the rest, they also weigh much more than other garden tractors posing a serious risk of injury during a roll over

You dont have a roll bar on a quad or dirtbike for a reason, you gotta be able to get away from the machine at any moment

All lawnmower engines. Easiest motors to bang out a few extra ponnies. Cams and porting and digital ignition.

What are your thoughts on a 1992 Cub 1861 with a Kohler Magnum 18hp? Good tractor? Good for something like this?
