- the enemy and boss mark has more hp nearly twice.
- in some area more enemy appeared.
- combination shot makes hard to hit enemy weak point.

Nice work with the 1CC! I suppose the part that can throw the player is where enemies can attack by surprise especially when they just come from the left side (mostly) or the right side, or both. It involves taking parts down simultaneously instead of focusing on one enemy...
For example: at 2:17 a player should never let their guard down. Its practically the first moment they can take damage. A common mistake anyone can make.
This is practically a World Record in my thoughts! The rank is dynamic because it slowly builds up and it cannot be reduced (like some shmup games) unless there are other alternatives or options to lower it.
P.S. Unscathed on the first stage!
This should be featured on Awesome Game Replays since they do special videos on certain arcade games from score attacks to 1CCs. You can give annotations on where to watch out on for specific parts! But its only a thought.

Kind of anticlimactic.... I was hoping to find out who that masked man is after he kidnapped Courtney Wall and the player to be part of some military test for biological weapons.

Shadowhawk28 that part I agree with. I suppose he might have just escaped before them. But only time will tell. And I'm hoping for a sequel of this game. I already have plans for them. And if I work with Namco on voice acting for a new character, I will make it amazing as possible. And probably for one hint I'll give you right now if there's a sequel, there will be 44 stages instead of just 4. And with another secret stage raising it up to 45, I'll be considering that stage will be ultra secret.

After finishing the last stage and getting to the surface (say it is set on an big island at night), Courtney and the protagonist find out the biological weapons seen in this game has leaked outside of the testing grounds onto the island where the inhabitants are turned into the zombies. Steadily as the game progresses, Courtney starts to remember her past as journalist trying to expose deep secrets about the military. Here would be the levels.
Agoraphobia (fear of crowded places): Courtney and the protagonist fight through a large crowd of undead in an effort to find a phone, a cure and possibly survivors.
Trypophobia (fear of holes): mainly takes place underground and mostly has slithering enemies coming from the holes.
Monophobia (fear of being alone): The protagonist and Courtney get separated for a short time and have to deal with the undead.
Aquaphobia (fear of water): they fight monsters lurking in the ocean, threatening to spread to other places. They then find signs of other survivors that leads to a hospital
Iatrophobia (fear of doctors): they fight through a hospital where most of the staff has been infected and they save the group of survivors where one of them has secretly been infected by a zombie, but the effects have not taken over. The reason why the said survivor was bitten was because it needed DNA of an infected in order to try and form an antidote.
(last stage)Xenophobia (fear of the unknown): the Mystery guy from Dark Escape reveals that he infected himself on purpose and hasn't turned completely, giving him increased durability and super speed. Once defeated, they form an antidote and are able to save the survivor who had gotten bitten. They end up calling a helicopter which whisks them away from the island and they are able to mass produce the antidote. Even though things look good, Courtney beleives that something horrible is still brewing and how what they experienced was just the tip of the iceberg.

I only play dark escape with dual gun today. Currently only one level has been recorded. I was probably attacked about four times.
