Excellent build, you might want to think about making a differential with freewheels, just so you don't drift when going around a turn at speed. But great build and very quick!

I hope your welds hold. Next time grind or sand down to bare metal, instead of welding where there is paint. You should also use a different color hot and ground wire.
Alfzor, a front end salvaged from a 125 cc motorcycle could probably be fitted by replacing the head bearings and a bolt of the correct length, you would need to make sure you grab one from a dirt bike due to the fact you would be carrying more weight than normal, but even a standard road bikes forks would be fine as long as the diameter for the wheel was kept the same, meaning no smaller, so the handling wasn't compromised. Several years ago I modified one of my motorcycles by adapting the front end from my '72 SL 250 Honda to a '64 CL 72 / 250 as it had a 21" front wheel and the CL's front end had a 19" and not enough travel, and swapping out a front end is a lot easier to do than it appears. For those familiar with these bikes, yes the CL is much heavier than the SL, but I love this old bike and that engine is bullet proof and with a larger rear sprocket it will go anywhere I point it, just have to get used to the extra weight and since I've had it since '72 I have no problems, plus these engines put out more power than even the SL 350's did.
Great idea, lad. Everyone should make this, even for bicycle pizza delivery people. Who needs cars delivering pizza when an electric cargo bike is the best option? Do not forget the solar panels.

That is a great build. One question though, how long will those batteries last for? Until they cant charge again that is.
I think 5 x 12 volts and 20 Ah batteries in series are 60 volts 20 Ah.
On the engine stand 60 volts and 21 amps
So about an hour.
