I really like your reviews but here I think you are really comparing apples to peaches. I was personally comparing both options in december and the only difference was Phantom model, as I was checking silver version. Gold phantom is over twice more expensive and for that amount you can buy quite a lot of gear. From the sound quality perspective Phantom without any doubts had the edge on the sound quality that was very linear. On the flip side, I really didn't like the sound projection as Phantom is not trying to create the scene using dsp but the sound sticks to the speaker. Clearly Devialet has a strategy of selling single speakers only to gain the customer soul and then to sell second one. Naim surprised me with very full and powerfull sound with a very broad stage. Make no mistake in judgement, it's a dsp created stage but very pleasing. When I switched from one Phantom to pair everything changed. It didn't double experience but actually made it expotential. The sound, previously glued to the white egg, became almost ephemeral. What a fantastic experience it was. Anyway, doing avquick math - 2 phantoms silver equal almost 4 mu-so's. if I had to stay with only 1 egg, i would pick Naim as it gave me much nicer impression. The dsp tuned sound was fantastic and was filling well the room with very pleasing tune. To make the more fair conrest, I think you should compare Naim to Sonos or Heos as all those speakers are in more comparable price range (in Poland you can get MuSo for less than 900 Eur). Im confident that in such contest, Naim would leave both competitors in dust. Last but not least, I had a chance to talk to the Naim engineer, who told me that Naim is likely to introduce a new model, that will offer the pairing feature to get a true stereo sound. It shouldn't be thought expected sooner, than next year.
I must admit Fabulous attempt from naim! I think this is their first attempt at a all in on speaker. If its this good now imagine their next gen all in one music system... And gosh both the Devialet and Naim look so gorgeous!
In my opinion devialet is more open, rich and spacious sounding even it’s mono. I have personally tested naim and phantom in my country. I have to say that phantom is something different regarding shape, innovation and sound quality.
The Phantom gold which you are comparing to the Naim is more than twice the price.... I’ve listened to both at my local hifi specialists and prefer the Naim although the sales people in the store tried to push the Phantom on me. They eventually admitted that the Phantoms weren’t selling.
Stereo imaging, soundstage is tremendously important, discounting it so easily is disappointing. A pair of Phantoms are a significant level up. I Rather felt the review was overly focused on the Phantom not the Naim in isolation,. If there's no realistic comparison, then no need to do so...
Ian Rigby in the ending I said enough about the Naim. It’s a good speaker but as everyone was asking about a comparison against the Phantom I mainly focused on that. 2 Phantom are a level up but not only because they are stereo. They are a level up because you get twice the sound. And I also didn’t say that stereo imaging is unimportant. I just said that I will be focusing on sound quality only in this video.
Hi’ Speaker Toni. Can the Naim Mu-So produce bass from edm music that you feel or would you miss feelable bass in the room? I’m looking in to buying a good wireless stereo and im in love with devialets products, but then again the price is UP there if I want stereo and not mono, and I would like stereo to when im watching movies etc. But then again I like feeling the bass and I’m wondering if the Mu-So is even capable of producing that. My goal is not to crack windows or make things fall down the walls, but I would like to feel some rumble from for example - Nigel Goods Flight 😊 Hope you see this and thanks for all the videos
If you put a phantom in your house and someone sees it, theyre gonna be like woah what is that its so cool. And when they hear it they are gonna be impressed. For the naim, they see it, they know its a speaker and when they hear it they will think its normal
disadvantage of good base kills high level tingling sound. that what happens in phantom case. highs is supressed in phantom. clarity of sound is more important, not base.
Toni, I like your videos, but this kind of speakers, needs a other approach when testing, that the phantom plays louder does not mean it has better quality, and testing at max volume is really not a good test, your uncle with his fantastic sound system didn't test it at 100% volume either. This mu-so speaker is a 3way system, and can play stereo, the phantom is mono and needs a second one, how can a mono speaker be better? It will never do. So for half the price of the phantom gold it's a good buy. In my opinion a better buy. I am a fan of the phantom don't get me wrong here, but around 1200 euros there is not much that has this level of quality. For the phantom to be a real winner you need a second one but then 6000 euro's can buy u also a lot of other opportunities.
Djhugo1978 I tested them at very high room levels and never at max, so where does that come from? I also only did it in the end because I do think that it’s important to know how much sound pressure they can produce without sounding horrible. The only advantage of the Naim and it’s stereo setup is that it sounds a bit more organized sometimes (but you don’t really notice that as it has a worse sound tuning) and that it has the huge stereo stage. But of course a mono speaker can sound better than a stereo one. The Phantom has more presence, more refined treble and stronger, deeper bass despite it being mono. That sounds like a better speaker to me...
Hi Toni, Thank you for your reaction. I have to say, I really like the way you are passionate about audio, never lose that! Let me react to your message, You like to test speakers as you said "high room levels", you have to define that, I interpreted that as close to maximum, 80%, to see (hear ;-)) if they are capable of producing a good sound even at high volumes, but all speakers lose their musicality close to max, that's why I said that it is in my opinion not a good test. In my opinion you have to test it as it's buyers would use it most of the time. I know the phantom can play very loud, but even that speaker loses it's musicality when push it close to maximum. If people need a speaker that plays good at a certain level and that level is close to max, than they bought the wrong speaker in my opinion. About the tuning of the mu-so, that's more an personal thing, you like it or not, the mu-so is nice/good (I 'm not saying it's perfect) and can play a lot of genres on a very good level. I don't judge you about you not liking it. But you missed me on my statement, The phantom has mono sound and will lose al lot of details because it misses his/her stereo partner despite it having more capabilities in it's sound stage. A deeper bass does not mean a better sound stage. Besides that, 3000 euro can buy you a pair of Dynaudio Xeo 6 speakers (also streaming) and have a good stereo sound stage and a good low end. But at the price range of the mu-so (1200 euro's) there is not much that comes close to it sound wise. My tip: if possible please use loss less audio files when testing those high/higher end speakers, if you didn't use it already.
Toni, the fact that you're willing to ignore Stereo, and Price let alone your measurement devices affect (another vid u also ignore mic proximity), really makes your reviews utterly random. good for marketing your channel though, but of no real use.
devialet sounds better with most content for sure. Although its got a VERY slight boxyness in the midrange. id say 400-600hz (most notable on the track at 19:04.) I think the lower treble is also ever so slightly agressive.
nonetheless a gorgeous sounding speaker. It's silky smooth, detailed and has insane bass extension and power. For some content the slight boost in those mids gives it a more rich experience. I can't think of any other speaker that does what it can do in that form factor.
The Devialet costs twice as much but it's definitely NOT twice as good. As a matter of fact I would choose the Naim, base alone won't save the much pricier Devialet Gold. It's a fun construction but mid-range is not very good and it lacks soundstage as a mono speaker. You need two of'em and then your broke. The Naim is great for what it is. An accumulated evaluation gives the Naim the edge in this race if u ask me.
The Phantoms treble is more refined and it sounds more clear than the Muso, it also has cleaner and deeper bass with very nice separation between instruments. The Muso however has a stronger midrange and is a true stereo speaker vs the mono Phantom which is basically a dealbreaker for many people on music alone, even moreso on home theater duties. The Muso is more versatile, it can double as a soundbar , the Phantom can not, its too big to place in front of the TV. Its an apples and oranges comparison but a nice demo nonetheless. (also the Gold Phantom costs $3,200 while the Muso costs $1300) It would be interesting to hear how the speakers sound using an aftermarket DAC going into the AUX in (which is how I listen to music) Great sound demo. I do wish Devialet made a Stereo phantom. The new Muso 2.0 has a far more powerful DSP , the woofers and mids were redesigned in conjunction with FOCAL and the cabinet was improved via improved internal bracing and increased interior volume. It sounds all around better than the old Muso. Hopefully you can audition it.
Common its a joke of a speaker, you only have to look at the tweeter placement between mids and woofers to realize this. Aftermarket DAC? Who the heck needs this, you won't notice a difference to a Bluetooth streaming from an iPhone especially on the Naim which sounds completely off...
@@majicogarcia8417 😂 Did anyone mention Vifa here? Do you have some issue with the fact that Naim sucks? Heck I wouldn't buy Vifa speakers today or recommend them to most because the Chinese owners got rid of the main office in Denmark so company is basically dead, but mention them to show what was possible from the company which actually understood the acoustics is a different thing. And yet most kiddies post comments like you here trying to praise toyish products (mostly Jbl, Bose, Sony and in this case Naim) for some reason weird reason... So sorry but I would absolutely reply to someone who thinks that Naim sounds good and point out that Vifa Stockholm 2.0 sounds better than the Phantom (let alone the Naim, also because I don't know of a single cabinet speaker which would beat the Stockholm) and even better that you can get some smaller active stereo speakers for the money of the Naim which also blow it away.
Hello Speaker toni ! I’m looking for a good soundbar for listening music and watching movies too. I already have two vifa speaker (helsinki and reykjavik) and i really really like the signature of vifa’s speaker. I don’t know what i should choose between naim muso or vifa stokholm.... Did you ever heard the sound of stockholm ? What do you think ? Thanks a lot !!!!!
Haven't even seen the review yet but as soon as this popped up I was very excited to see because I have seen a couple of different reviews on this particular speaker. Of course nobody does a review like you so now I really get to see what it's all about. Anyway thanks for letting me waste another half an hour watching this stuff.😉😉😉😎🤗 PS: you must be very, very tall considering you have the biggest hands I've ever seen in my entire life.😁😁🤤
Hi Toni I was curious to your opinion regarding the Naim, what would sound better in bass, clarity, and stereo separation. Would it be one naim or 2 Phantom reactors? CHEERS!
The rose is the first win for Naim. Not nearly as sharp treble as the phatom but mids seem a bit off. On the other hand the phatom sounds as it has some kind of minor reverb going on. Win for naim...but not by a lot but still a clear win
I'm sorry but this is as biased as hell. It is an unfair comparison and not quite sure why it is titled "Mu So: unboxing and first impressions " because all you do is bang on about how great the Devialet is (despite being over twice the price).
The Naim dont sound boxy, but NASAL. Even trumpets sounded nasal. Very amazed about this as naims reputation in amps is in the absolute TOP. I would love to hear a comparison with hk go play gand b&o s3 in STEREO (have both at home) since i dont think naim will be far ahead...if at all
I would love to see a showdown between the mu-so and the mu-so qb...I keep seeing/watching reviews saying "they're just about the same" but no way I believe that. I want to hear it :)
2 things1) you said in beginning the naim was 300€ and it was a lot of money. I GUESS you meant 3000€ correct? Otherwise it's the same price as a H&K go play which...i dont think is the same league :)2) when you were started the jazz track i was sure.. *now the naim will kick ass since it's the home territory of naim and hifi* but damn... In jazz the phatom DESTROYED the naim TOTALLY 😱 I would say all the tracks before jazz i had a hard time deciding which one i liked (im a transparent before warm sound type of guy). Naim being slightly warmer but very distinct. Phatom being very clear and upfront and suuyper deep base (naim don't stand a chance in depth) but not as good mid-kick as naim IMO and not really sure about which (electroish) voices i preferred.
Toni. Just a feedback but i really think your room has a lot of echo and really messes with the sound. Maybe install curtains around the walls? Idk thats what i did for my room
Syed Muhammad Khalish ai know, I’ll do that soon. For small speakers you don’t notice anything from the echo almost but with such big speakers it becomes obvious. I already organized sound padding;)
Great review, thanks Toni. Yeah I guess there is no contest Phantom vs Muso - both in terms of sound quality and price. Muso can be found for under 1000 euro. I suppose it would be a great comparison between Muso and two Bang Olufsen M5 in stereo. What do you think Toni?
they need to make the phantom portable with a big battery built in so it can compete with the the teufel boomster xl, diamondboxxes and soundboks 2 and so on, if you consider portability , taking it anywhere.
thought there is a pssibiltiy, i mean the soudnboks 2 and diamodnbox xl have batteries too and those batteries are not thaaaat big but have at least the same loudness and power even if the quality is worse. so shoudl be possible but they maybe have to build the phantom a bit bigger to get the battery inside . would be intresting if they will release some kidn of gold phantom compeltely battery powered. i hope so :D
What would you recommend for the best wireless after the Devialet Phantom? More like a top 5 wireless speakers. Have you managed to compare against the Sony srs X99?
Thanks for the video, great comparison! You should rename the video : Phantom vs Naim Mu-so by the way ;) Have you select the Loundness option on the Naim?
Naim seems to try too hard in the base to beat the Phantom - likely what the marketing section requested. The Naim has better separation in the acoustic piece - Phantom poor separation and boxed up.
awesome !! so i was searching for mu-so reviews... but damn i am going as quick as i can to listen to a Phantom reactor at a Devialet showroom... THANKS SO MUCH ;)
sandydenny lives show me a sound test with good mics and the Muso out of the box vs after 2 month of break in If it gets better than the Phantom like that I'll redo the test
I have a muso and to my experience, the airplay or other lossless signals have much better sound experience than Bluetooth on Muso. And I can see he may use Bluetooth function of Muso shame...
emmearchitect you shouldn’t buy it. I tried it in the store and it sounded weirdly covered and much worse than the actual Mu-So. At this price point the Vifa Oslo and the B&O M5 are more interesting. If you can safe another 500€ and get the Devialet Phantom Elevate.
Speaker Toni thanks for saving me and my money!i said qb because it's on amazon at 700 euro and this is my maximum budget i have. At this point i'll go for oslo 499 or zeppelin wireless for 549..just looking for loud and good music.thanks a lot
Even being played via RUclips at 1080p the Naim is out timing the single Devialet by A LOT. As an all in one, the Naim is very good for the $$$$. With proper placement it can play tunes. I wonder when Linn will build one. Linn Klimax Kompakt
Now building one with say... a Linn Majik DS with a Exaktbox-I, would give you Exakt digital crossover with 8 channels of DAC, 8 channels of 100 W Chakra amplification with Space Optimisation built-in. Using top drives it would be a WOW all in one that can go anywhere. It would have a height of 9 1/2" with 3 3/4" for top middle bottom MDF. Depth would be at around 14". Give it a width of say 32" and you have enough volume for 2 great 3 way speakers. Bass could have 6" drives with 4 amps for sealed isobaric.
I listened to a pair of Gold Phantoms, and this video re-confirms that the Devialets sound like a car stereo. Everything is compressed and gray sounding. I'd take any decent budget stereo system (let's say Nad C316BEE + Dali Spektor 2, let's say) or a pair of honest Yamaha HS8 monitors over a pair of Gold Phantoms any day. Class D has yet to come up with any natural or emotionally involving stuff from what I heard so far.
I agree that it isn’t a real alternative to a good stereo system yet But I don’t agree that class d amps can’t sound musical I tested out many of them and some deliver amazing performance while not sacrificing any emotional aspect in the music But I’d still say that class A and A/B amps usually sound a bit more harmonic and less digital than class d amps but on the other hand those also have advantages over the other types again It depends on what you prefer
If I was to only have one or the other I would get the Naim over the Phantom simply because it's stereo not mono but if I could get two Phantoms it's no contest!
Maurice Frank the Naim used to be 1500€ and the Phantom is 2500€. But even the entry level Phantom (1500€ as well) sounds better than the Naim. So the Devialet is the better speaker here.
Speaker Toni yeah and it is also much louder and has a smaller footprint. Love the video though. I was wondering for so long how these 2 would compare.
okay but then the gold phantom is overpriced, because i would not pay 1000€ more for a bit better sound and mono system. then only the entry level phanto mis it worth the price. for 2500€ i pair 2 of those naims or get another system :D
Hello Toni, I don't agree on that, you don't know that, you don't own a entry level one. The mu-so costs 1200 - 1100 euro's! these day's. And it is a all in one STEREO system not a mono speaker.

Did you ever heard the sound of stockholm ? What do you think ? Thanks a lot !!!!!
I haven’t heard the Stockholm but it should be better than the Mu-So I think
I really like the smaller Vifa speakers so this one must be good too
Speaker Toni Ok thanks ! And if you compare the sound quality of muso against oslo, what is your opinion ? Thank you very much !
Looks like nothing can Beat the Phantom, such a beast
Haven't even seen the review yet but as soon as this popped up I was very excited to see because I have seen a couple of different reviews on this particular speaker. Of course nobody does a review like you so now I really get to see what it's all about. Anyway thanks for letting me waste another half an hour watching this stuff.😉😉😉😎🤗
PS: you must be very, very tall considering you have the biggest hands I've ever seen in my entire life.😁😁🤤
Wooooow, Naim MuSo!!!!!!!
Let's see if it lives up to any expectations (UK is like crazy about this speaker in general)
The Phantom sounds definitely clearer and simply better.
Hi Toni I was curious to your opinion regarding the Naim, what would sound better in bass, clarity, and stereo separation. Would it be one naim or 2 Phantom reactors?
CHEERS!
There is the Naim 2nd generation which I would be interested in if it sounds better against 2 reactors.
what about Technics SC-C50? can you get it for comparison with those two animals?
At high volume the Phantom sounds like it can't be overwhelmed. Very nice!
Hey Toni, mich würde deine Meinung interessieren: Phantom Reactor 900 oder Naim Mu So (2)?
The rose is the first win for Naim. Not nearly as sharp treble as the phatom but mids seem a bit off. On the other hand the phatom sounds as it has some kind of minor reverb going on. Win for naim...but not by a lot but still a clear win
I'm sorry but this is as biased as hell. It is an unfair comparison and not quite sure why it is titled "Mu So: unboxing and first impressions " because all you do is bang on about how great the Devialet is (despite being over twice the price).
Bass on the Phantom is insane! The muso sounds great too.
Hi Tony, I want to ask you if by any chance you have this info, is the new phantom using a newer and better technology than than the gold phantom?
The Naim dont sound boxy, but NASAL. Even trumpets sounded nasal. Very amazed about this as naims reputation in amps is in the absolute TOP. I would love to hear a comparison with hk go play gand b&o s3 in STEREO (have both at home) since i dont think naim will be far ahead...if at all
Ola Hindmo oh fuck off you idiot 🤣
Could you compare the b&o a9 to the Devialet Phantom gold?
I heard it once and it sounded horrible
I would love to see a showdown between the mu-so and the mu-so qb...I keep seeing/watching reviews saying "they're just about the same" but no way I believe that. I want to hear it :)
The QB is a lot worse sounding than the normal one
Yeah I started with the muso qb and could not believe how bad it sounded. No treble and harsh mids
Speaker Toni hahah alright dude cool. Would love to check out ur future vids
Hi Toni, The alight edgy sound that YOU FIND IN THE NAIM IS taken away when you put the grille...
I'm sad to say that the Naim makes the Devialet sound muddy :O
Great review, thanks Toni.
Yeah I guess there is no contest Phantom vs Muso - both in terms of sound quality and price.
Muso can be found for under 1000 euro.
I suppose it would be a great comparison between Muso and two Bang Olufsen M5 in stereo.
What do you think Toni?
What was the first track played? It doesn't match the music stated in the description.
This or beosound 2? Or Vifa Stockholm
Daniel Wilkins the Stockholm
@@speakertoni2680 ok great. One final question. The Vifa Stockholm or the beosound A9
Daniel Wilkins I don’t know the A9 very well but when I heard it once it was really bad
So again, I’d recommend the Stockholm
Please review the Jbl authentics L8 or L16!!
Listening to this on my naim..
I find the way the Phantom makes the bass the centerpiece of every piece of music extremely irritating.
they need to make the phantom portable with a big battery built in so it can compete with the the teufel boomster xl, diamondboxxes and soundboks 2 and so on, if you consider portability , taking it anywhere.
Maurice Frank there is no such a big battery :). Phantom is very inefficient speaker...needs lots of power for getting loud.
thought there is a pssibiltiy, i mean the soudnboks 2 and diamodnbox xl have batteries too and those batteries are not thaaaat big but have at least the same loudness and power even if the quality is worse. so shoudl be possible but they maybe have to build the phantom a bit bigger to get the battery inside . would be intresting if they will release some kidn of gold phantom compeltely battery powered. i hope so :D
Maurice Frank those speakers are very sensitive-efficient...they require little power for lots of loudness.
oh okay, why cant they achieve this with the phantom?:D
Maurice Frank because they would need much bigger box or they would need to sacrifice low end freq-bass. Google “Hoffman iron law”
What would you recommend for the best wireless after the Devialet Phantom? More like a top 5 wireless speakers. Have you managed to compare against the Sony srs X99?
For me, the mids seem to be better on Mu So.
Sergiu 100% and in person the Naim sounds better and is not mono ....really it's not a fair comparison, comparing apples to oranges here.
Marc Favell so you can never compare mono to stereo?
The Naim really needs about 100 hours of play to open up and needs a good source to sound its best. And it’s very picky about the placement .
and it’ll still underperform
@@speakertoni2680 some people are just deaf
@@goorackerelite being aware of yourself is a great first step!
@@speakertoni2680 I think you might be projecting ;)
@@goorackerelite Naim is a joke: ruclips.net/video/NhXiOZ5Fi7Q/видео.html
Vifa might be even better than Phantom tho.
Tony,..can you review behringer MPA30BT or the series MPA?thanks
Nice comparison. Keep it up man. Thanks for the review. Still prefer the phantom tho.
awesome comparison man..keep doing it
Thanks for the video, great comparison! You should rename the video : Phantom vs Naim Mu-so by the way ;) Have you select the Loundness option on the Naim?
What are the three best speakers you have? 1st , 2nd , 3rd
김재연 1: Devialet Gold Phantom
2: Quadral Aurum Altan 8
3: Vifa Oslo
Today my new reference system will arrive so this might be new number 1:)
Speaker Toni which references system ?
Dhruv Chudasama at that point the KEF LS3 were my reference and they still are in this size.
Two days ago I picked up my Thiel CS5
Speaker Toni Is the difference between gold and white phantom huge ? bcoz I am gonna buy a speaker soon !
THANKS SO MUCH ;)
You have to burn the muso in, not just from the box.
sandydenny lives show me a sound test with good mics and the Muso out of the box vs after 2 month of break in
If it gets better than the Phantom like that I'll redo the test
the phantom would still prob be best, but all speakers need significant burn in.
How does the phantom perform with low volume? Still balanced with base level?
Lasse Jacobsen the Naim wins here as it has a loudness option
@@speakertoni2680 hi tony, bought my naim a few weeks ago, and was wondering what the loudness button does? Many thanks!
What is the first song??
I have a muso and to my experience, the airplay or other lossless signals have much better sound experience than Bluetooth on Muso. And I can see he may use Bluetooth function of Muso shame...
No shame. I tried the “lossless” format, sounded just the same. Just a waste of time to set it up.
Devialet sounds too hissing not soothing enough in comparison to the superorganic naim, still the devialet isdry and sharp, super realistic as well
Jirm Jahu are you listening to the speakers the right way round.
The Naim has better stereo imaging thus sounding fuller IMO. The Phantom sounds too centeret - you really need two Phantoms to get better imaging.
Toni, the Phantom Gold costs more than twice as much as the Muso.
Emaratilfy stereo imaging doesnt do sound it does stereo seperation
The phantom sounds better overall, it would be nice to hear two Phantoms sounding in stereo... :)
Yes voice so better on Devialet Gold Phantom. But I think Naim Mu So sooo better! what a soround and detaling!
Hi tony im considering to buy naim muso qb...do you know about it?
emmearchitect you shouldn’t buy it.
@ toni: Really? come on you can do better then that, you are jumping into conclusions now.
be careful to the desk curving issue!!!!
7:30 name of that track please?
I’m thinking in buying the beosoud 2, would you recommend it? or do you think the Naim Mu So will be a better choice?
Miguel Silva I've heard the B&o once and it might sound decent but nothing like a speaker of that price.
So far I'd go for the Phantom or Mu-So
Thanks a lot man, you coemment save my pennies
Why not the klipsch stadium is it much more expensive
Abiel Pangga I wanted to buy it but it’s currently out of stock everywhere.
Speaker Toni oh noo if it's restocked will u biy it and will u sell the naim
Could you tell me the name of the first testing song, please
soundcloud.com/raz1/dbz-final-sc
Name of the 2nd song?
You should review the new phantom.
Carlos Guadiana the new one is the cheaper edition
Carlos Guadiana it's just like the white phantom
Speaker Toni I want to hear how it sounds.
The new one
Hi can you make video soundcore 2 vs soundcore boost pls? i wona see this 2 speakers in VS :D
dandaCZ the Boost wins by a lot
Speaker Toni I now but is from same company and you can boost bass on soundcore 2 with application
I have the Focal Dimension soundbar it sounds really nice Netflix sounds more natural and realistic
devialet is 1000x better
Is the naim using focal drivers, anyone know?
The Muso 2.0 is using Focal drivers, yes. Not the old Muso.
Music from intro? Ples?
Kudos for great video quality.
Naim c top !!!
Great job & can you place a link to get both speakers thanks! ;-)

I agree that it isn’t a real alternative to a good stereo system yet
But I don’t agree that class d amps can’t sound musical
I tested out many of them and some deliver amazing performance while not sacrificing any emotional aspect in the music
But I’d still say that class A and A/B amps usually sound a bit more harmonic and less digital than class d amps but on the other hand those also have advantages over the other types again
It depends on what you prefer
Alot of deaf people on hear thinking the devialet is better. It sounds hollow and flat. The naim sounds far smoother and balanced.
If I was to only have one or the other I would get the Naim over the Phantom simply because it's stereo not mono but if I could get two Phantoms it's no contest!
Mu-So or B&W Zeppelin Wireless ?
Aleksey Zhbankov mu-so
Speaker Toni , How much difference in sound quality between HK GoPlay and Zeppelin?
Mu-so for sure
You reduced the volume of the Naim, because, in the beginning, the Naim sounded louder and much better until you reduced the volume.
Daniel Duedu yea probably because it's unfair to make one speaker louder?
Yes PhANTOM is more Uplift space free..
Wooohooo got it for 450 euros! Oo happy
Devialet best!!!!
Your reviews are awesome. Could you use a good mic please.
Praveen MV could I use good mics?
Aren't two DPA 4060 mics enough?
You should rather think about getting good headphones to listen to the recordings.
The mics are perfect my friend. I am using my skull candy headphones and the quality is 👌👌👌 perfect!
OK. I listen through my wharfedale 220s. I ll try headphones. Thank u for ur reply. Keep going new demos.
double the prize but not double the sound. or nearly double the price (gold phantom vs. naim)
