Igorrr's first couple of albums were just Gautier Serre (Igorrr) making music on his laptop. But it is now a band. Unfortunately their two incredible singers, Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec both left the band in 2021. Their two new singers do sound good, but just seen one of them has already left which is a shame. Igorrr is hardly going to settle for average singers though... so excited to see what is next. You saw their guitarist Martyn Clément playing the riff and Sylvain Bouvier is a beast on the drums - weird gopro angles or no. Then there are a bunch of frequent collaborators. Live they have two singers, Guitarist, Drummer and the Gautier on his laptop adding everything else. I would love to see them live. Gautier says the genre is 'Baroque-core', but I just call it Igorrr. Glad you both appreciate Igorrr, a lot of people get confused when music doesn't fit in a box, but from previous reactions I know you both appreciate uniqueness and talent. How good is that riff though... The latest album is full of them, and I had to take the train recently when my car was in the garage. I resisted grooving for approximately half a song before I just had to groove away to the chunky guitars.
5:53 from thi s moment forward, its likemusical therapy, whatever shes singing about who knows but it connects beautifully layered right on top of the most melodic powergroove and the whole thing just flows like honey.
I think you guys should try to react to Corpo Mente. This band is derived from Igorrr (sort of). You'll find again the sitar player (playing bass), the guitar player, the singer and the main composer, Gautier Serre. I'm pretty sure you will adore it. It is absolutely beautiful. You could try "Ort", "Arsalein", "Dorma" or "Encell". All filmed in studio. Enjoy !
Cheval is polkacore or something. This is... mystical metal? Congrats! You just experienced two of the 14 weird styles Igorrr have mastered :D Tonight, just before bed, try "Problème d'émotion"... it has no vid, so it doesn't kill any future reaction...and you'll have the most exquisite nightmares, promise Edit: it's a sitar, not a scimitar...close enough :)

When I say I call it Igorrr, that's me saying that - not quoting Gautier on that bit. ;)
A great band. Thank you for your reaction !
The diversity this band brings into its art is incredible! Love IGORRR! 🌀🌀🌀✊✊✊🔥🔥🔥

The instrument you wondered about is a Sitar, from India originally.
a scimitar is a curved sword

Thanks Valerie. I recognized Nils, but didn't realize Antony was the Sitar player. He has changed his look a little between vids lol.
I burned every igorrr album to a data disc the day this (preordered) album arrived, it's been in the cd player in my car ever since.
her vocals make this song imo, not to mention the drums , love the whole album at this point.
