From up there the Earth looks so peaceful, clean & quiet...who would guess that there is so much fighting & war. Can I get a one way ticket to the ISS?
I don't know how to describe, but I feel very emotional, that Scott, this awesome Commander where we got sooo much experience, will leave. But I'm glad he did this! Still don't know how to describe..
Space x has came a long way, of course nasa as well. All astronauts are hero’s because they sacrifice so much for science. What they did being up there for a year has provided us with so much information.. especially on what space does to their bodies. They will suffer from being up there so long. They have provided information on what we can do to help our bodies stay more healthy in space and finding ways to keep the radiation at lower levels. We are so close to mars and so close to living in space. We owe these people who dedicate them selfs to science. Thank you for everything
"...and so close to living in space..." ----??? This is all interesting only from the point of view of abstract science. But the true benefits of this "exploration" of space is not present, in my opinion. Its rate is negligible, in contrast to the rate of decline in resources and the rate of climate change . Now it is quite obvious that humanity will not be able , or rather - will not have time to come up with a way to find a planet equivalent to the Earth, and safely move there. Unfortunately, the Earth and human civilization will disappear faster than it will be possible to implement.
It's unsettling to know that the clock is ticking down until a catastrophical failure occurs, and that the more time you spend up there, the bigger the chances for a close encounter of the *worst* kind. Borrowed time, and all that.
It was a stretch of bad luck. One failure due to using old tech, the other had bad luck and the other because it was a new rocket design which had flaws
Art of Zazoreal This whole production is a movie... Everything is a lie and fake!!! It’s all fake NASA is Nothing more then gate keepers.. it’s all lies
Yo bump that lol!!! Holy shit that was tense to witness, straight out of Gravity! Kelly documented this part so well in the book, I had no idea this was all captured live!
I am absolutely NOT a flattard, but I do have a question. How is the ISS filmed? I saw the footage of the docking, it wasn't quite the same, even though they did see the ISS from that angle. Is there another satellite close to ISS? Where can I find the answer?
multiple docking ports and windows that can be filmed from. I think we saw the underside as they docked in the last video, then the shots this time were from a departing or docking craft looking "down" towards earth. Id imagine that a departing craft would distance itself from the space station to avoid any blow back when firing its engines, hold there for a short time then begin a burn back to earth once its sitting in a correct trajectory path.
And People are commenting how many views it should get, what's wrong with the world today?? Getting paid n scamming others for money is the only thing they have in their mind! They can't see the bigger picture here :(
I dont understand, where are the lazer-guided destroyers and liquid metal missiles on the ISS, I can not believe we dont have a counter attack in place to vaporize space junk...not that am an aggressive person, but there is no negotiation with debris and it would be a sad day if anything bad happened to the ISS.
Bobby It was a simple comment to elucidate my perceived vulnerability of the ISS. But more on your comment, am sorry I was not able to provoke a more intelligent discussion. Good day to you.
Blowing up things in orbit is problematic because it would just create a cloud of smaller pieces. Which is just as dangerous. Stuff blowing up or being blown up intentionally is responsible for a lot of the debris that's already up there.
How did THAT much shit get in space? Wtf was NASA thinking? Also, how is it we can't keep ISS in orbit without course corrections, but crap floats out there for years??
None of them were from NASA. The first was an Antares/Cygnus from Orbital ATK, the second was a Progress from Roscosmos, and the third was a Falcon 9/Dragon from SpaceX.
so 3 rocket problems and yet they want us to believe that on the first attempt, in 1969, with way inferior technology, we landed on the moon? ummmm not buying it
Augford P. Doggie yeah we don't know what the problem is that caused the rockets to explode. Maybe one area that pumps propellant into the booster areas failed, maybe the liquid oxygen leaked out to much. But as Chris Hadfield has said, when your in a rocket, your constantly thinking about what could possibly kill you next. And considering that humans are constantly in space now on the ISS I wouldn't say the tech in inferior, not only that. But do you know how far away the moon is? And how short a time that astronauts stayed there?
lmfao how is international collaboration (despite the political differences between Russia and America) which aims achieve progress in the frontier of 21st century technology possibility self-centered and ego building. Your literally tripping.
you can't fake zero gravity in real time for over an hour straight. I work in VFX and it's easy to differentiate. It would cost more to fake it for hundreds of years. Plus, if you think the earth is flat, you have to then not believe in one bit of science. That's exactly how Christianity works - screw all your science because it 'says so in my bible'.
space terrifies me, but this series is captivating, I cant stop watching
"Samantha, you forgot your sweater." Hahaha 6:58
Uh oh, can we turn around? :'D
XD
lol that was funny af
something i would do lol
From up there the Earth looks so peaceful, clean & quiet...who would guess that there is so much fighting & war. Can I get a one way ticket to the ISS?
+calebcakes I would take a one way ticket to Mars..

One of my most favorite things to Watch
I'm 32 years old I I figured out what I wanna be when I grow up!
😂😂😂😂
Only 6k views?? This is some incredible stuff. You guys should be advertising / marketing it more
tecnockicken57 right !
tecnockicken57 14:03-08 what is this shadow?
87k, get it right
Dante that was 2yrs ago
Why do you guys care so much about the views it gets?
A before and after picture of Scott Kelly would be amazing once he gets back to Earth!
13:35 that footage is amazing, we don't get to see that very often, not even in the nasa youtube channel.
+Pia A "pucker up" moment indeed. O.o
I coudn't really understand that part. Can someone explain me please? I would be glad to know what was that!
N Sz space debris traveling over 8 miles per second
They said it (someone from ground) the relative velocity between ISS and the old satellite was 14km/s or 31317.1 mph
Well the iss can rotate the earth for 9 hours
such a shame this series gets so few views. Very poor marketing.
+statebulldog62 Yes it should be put on prime time television.
+statebulldog62 my god I didnt even realize the view number, tragic
+statebulldog62 A slight spike after Kelly's return, but still...
People keep looking down at the dirt. :-(
+Peter R it can't be on prime time television because it's only 13 minutes
+Peter R I think it was wan it premiered on PBS....
That first part was epic, I mean it could be used as an explosion scene in an action movie. It’s a million dollar explosion
it maybe billions of dollars... that explosion was real.. fortunately no life casualties...
absolutely fascinating.... going on my second time of watching the series..... Thank you all for your service. Past, Present, and Future!!

Amazing series, should definitely get more visibility!
been watching this over and over again.
This show is fascinating
Holy shit I didn't realize they failed 3 times with the cargo launch
It was a stretch of bad luck. One failure due to using old tech, the other had bad luck and the other because it was a new rocket design which had flaws
Good shot of New Zealand 👍
I was scared back then when three vehicles lost in a row :'(
Alpha Adhito ya truer and these guys record the ISS in one go. That is so satisfying and I feel so happy for them.
My heart was panicking they are real heroes
behind the consoles, experiments, fun of micro-gravity, the space debris are scary!
That last part could have been made into a movie. " Escape from the ISS" HAHAHA

we humans are truly incredible specie
13:43 it looks like they're just floating through space but in reality they are ZOOMIN. Incredible.
Amazing
The Space Station is flat.
From up there the earth looks so peaceful and quiet. Its us we humans are a plague to this Planet.
Wow so many failed launches of the supplies. That's scary
Its soo Beautiful and scary in space 😍😫
Brilliant stuff. Can't wait to see the next one.
Fascinating!
I love this series
Yes, they real Heroes.
Wow, that was intense.
Fascinating stuff
The cargo ship exploded three times ??? Wow. I didn’t know an astronomic expedition can screw up that bib.
Thats why space travel is so few far and between. And very dangerous
This is amazing!!
9:20 RIP Falcon 9
Rip the Soyuz and Cygnus
so awesome
What is the music at 13:34 ish?
Scary stuff at the end
my boys at spacex did it again ♥
Blew up two of their launch vehicles?
@@_Andrew2002 no, they're craft got food to the ISS crew
3:55 lets hope it doesnt explode this time lol
When the rocket blew up at the beginning im scared
how the camera survive the explosion?????
hopefully that human wont pollute space the way oceans are
Did they seriously miss 3 launches in a row?
yes they did was even becoming a fucking meme that space X rockets cant fly for shit
I am absolutely NOT a flattard, but I do have a question. How is the ISS filmed? I saw the footage of the docking, it wasn't quite the same, even though they did see the ISS from that angle. Is there another satellite close to ISS? Where can I find the answer?
The remote footage of ISS is usually made from arriving ships. There is no satellite in proximity
There are no satellites..
where are they in the videos of space?
NASA is all lies
Fake bullshit..

Camera on the Canada arm is one option, there are several others. The shots with the entire ISS in frame are likely from Soyuz pre or post docking.
10:31 something is moving
Elon Musk saved the crew hahahah

what happens when there is more crew than what could fit into the Soyuz and something bad is about to happen to the ISS?
Each crew has a Soyuz. How do you think they are coming there :)
How do they film the outside of the iss
Tori Emett other satellites passing by, or just another satellite that's around it
Wrong, approach resupply ships. No satellite is meant to be that close
Was the beginning real footage ?
It's all real footage.
wow. is the supply ship manned?
No
How come there's a head&shoulder shampoo there, thought they cant shower 1:57
Where is that cargo xD

It was stars

How do you produce drag in the vacuum of space?
Foh gravity
Well... shit
Well... *SHIT*
Why can't NASA seem to get a launch figured out?
Bravo25 Looks like the first failure was the Baikonur launch center in Kazakhstan. Not NASA's handiwork.
None of them were from NASA. The first was an Antares/Cygnus from Orbital ATK, the second was a Progress from Roscosmos, and the third was a Falcon 9/Dragon from SpaceX.
