I had the blue screen today after following Microsoft "specialist" advice. Windows is getting worse and worse because its founder wants to play doctor with big pharma instead.
I can tell that Microsoft does not notify vendors about changes. In a recent past Windows update, my laptop keyboard and USB keyboards stopped working for weeks. Keyboard worked to handle BIOS, but not for Windows. This is how I found that it was not hardware failure. Windows showed a driver's problem, Windows could not find drivers that worked. The laptop I have has an automated driver update software made by the manufacturer, and drivers were up to date. I had to use screen keyboard for disabled people and mouse only. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me there was no FAQ for this, so I would need to bring my laptop to a technician. I had no chance to do so, so I never brought the laptop to the technician. One faithful day, I ran the driver update software and suddenly keyboard started to work again. If Microsoft had communicated changes to manufacturer, this would not have happened. People blame CloudStrike, but it this problem I describe is caused by miscommunication, other companies will be hit by this process they designed to fail, and this process invites failures with unpredictable consequences..
US firm.....see how easy it is for US firms to affect businesses worldwide. They gather data and send it to the NSA. Any US company have to by law, give all data to the NSA. Why do you think Windows is so dodgy ? So many back door access.
Message seen shorty before computer crash: "Please do not turn off your computer. Your system is being updated". The Crowdstrike virus failed to crash a single Linux or Apple OS based computer system.
Lesser tech savy people are to blame. Not all things are intentional. When you shatter barriers you are alone(based on my knowledge), ok, perhaps your surrounded with others, but people want blame and you really cant do that. Now, if only you could great minds together, "he who trys such is guilty of something"!
The largest global IT outage was not caused by a cyber attack, but rather by a cyber attack prevention tool🤣
