You forgot Samsara, Eden, Chanel Allure , Organza, Chloé Narciso, Elizabeth Arden 5th avenue , Dune , Romance, Issay myake, Vanderbilt, Van Cleef, and many more 😍😍😍
I feel like all of those are timeless where as in this vid it’s the 90’s vibe ones, freshie type
Amarige
Exclamation!!!!! And Samba
I don't think 90's fragrances are dated at all compared to the shampoo smelling, cloying, silly gourmands and florals of today. Most frags that are popular now are just classless.
Yes! I still like many of the perfumes I wore in the 90's.
Yes agree.
Agree! My taste is all 90s tbh!
Everything now smells the same!!!
Oh no you’ve left out Angel one of the most iconic to which all other Gourmands came from. Very fun video thanks 😊
I’m wearing that right now!!! How weird that I read ur comment & I haven’t worn Angel all year & today I put it on.
My favorites from the 90's was L'eau d'Issey from Issey Miyake, Nina from Nina Ricci, Burberry from Burberry, Amarige from Givenchy, and Adidas Moves... There is probably a lot more but these are on the top of my head cause I still wear them today! 👌
My favorite 90's perfumes are Eternity, Amarige, Samsara, Cartier so Pretty, Tiffany Trueste, Perry Elis 360, and Estee Lauder Pleasures.
Nothing like Gucci Rush. The coolest girls in high school wore it so it made it like a staple for every girl. I still remember the cool girl named Michelle at my school spraying half a bottle of this during homeroom and then lathering a pound of the body cream. It was amazing! Still buy it occasionally today but it lasts me no more than a month. Huge compliment getter.
I was a teen in the 90s and I loved Davidoff’s Cool Waters!!! It was my signature scent back then! Wow! Brings me back! 😉
Also Dune, Dolce vita, Poeme. I still love them. They have their own personality. Unfortunately in nowadays all the perfumes smells the same fruty patsouly with no identity.
Dolce vita was out of this world 👌
Poeme 😍
Poeme is gorgeous! Nothing else like it on the market ❤
I was a teen all through the 90's. My first perfume when I was in 7th grade was Sunflowers. I also really remember Navy.
My 73 year old mother still loves and wears Gucci Rush!!! She is very young at heart!!
It's a timeless one for all ages 😍👌
And I remember it was best seller at that time the next version wasn't like the original one 😊
Fatenh Abu Qias yes it was in a pink container like the original red one
@@kyndra7710 but never the same like the original one
Does it still fabulous after reformulated?
Your choice + Dior - DUNE, Givenchy - Organza , Casharel - Noa , Cerruti -1881; Kenzo - Jungle , Lolita Lempicka - Le parfum.... UNIQUE formulas ! :)) Good old 90's - something for everyone ! Such diversity !
I loved NOA, so underrated.
......also Gucci Envy
Ralph Lauren Romance was in the 90s too.
It was amazing 😍👌
Exactly! And Tommy Girl
For me Tresor by Lancôme was the ultimate 90s perfume, the ultimate smell of femininity, elegance and beauty.
You provide the best information. I wish that you grow beyond your wildest dreams.
🥰🥰🥰
Best Brands Perfume hey 👋🏽 there ,,, I’m a subscriber to your channel also . 😅
@@begoodtoyourself9591 Hi~ Thanks for the shout out!
I think I wore Issey Miyake. Also Gucci Rush. Great idea for a series!
Heather Barber me, too. 🌹
I still wear JPG Classique. It's probably more fitting now that I'm in my 40s. CK one was definitely a game changer. 💚
CK one has had staying power, this doesn't get old. I always look forward to their annual limited editions. Am loving "CK Everyone" right now 😊
Ck one Summer!! Heavenly
Oh, yes, the nineties,,, I was still in my late teens when Sunflower was released, it immediately became my favourite, I was never too impressed with the freshies from Klein and Davidoff. I started wearing Sunflowers again this past summer,,, oh, the nostalgia ! The compliments! .. I'm drowned in nice feedback on the cheapest perfume I have ever owned, people adore it 😁😎
Great list! I would add the original Trêsor. Its peach notes are legendary. Rush was my signature scent ❤️.
Trésor was one of a kind.. Strong and has her own personality 😍😊
I wear Treso original, I want try Rush.. Thanks
Calvin Klein Obsession was my obsession
Cool water was my signature scent when I was a teenager. I almost want to buy a bottle just for nostalgia ❤️
I just to love Clinique Happy! You forgot Tommy Girl, is hat was popular in the 90s.
Love 90ies perfumes. My favourites are Cerruti 1881, CK one, Issey Miyake, Classique, Casmir, Maroussia, Allure....
Cerruti 1881 very clean, soft and classy one 😍👌
I also like Wish by Chopard and Bulgari perfumes from that period
I just showered and put my brand new bottle of CK One on :) Also delivered today: Givenchy Organza Indécence, Calvin Klein Obsession, Christian Dior Dune, Tommy Girl...
Good list but you forgot : Tommy girl by Tommy Hilfiger
Sara Zonana yes and I love both versions of Tommy girl. Tommy girl original and tommy girl now.
Jen Ibarra never tried Tommy girl now, but I had Tommy girl for a long time. I refiled that perfume like three times ( bought it three times).
Can you believe it has been my most complimented perfume I’ve had.
I’ve had others that I liked better like Si by Armani and now I have Good girl by Carolina Herrera and barely received comments but Tommy girl is my most complimented perfume.
I’ve had : Si by Armani Dolce and Gabanna, light blue Italian Zest, mirto di panarea and many but non as complimented as Tommy Girl
I still have some bottles!
For me the 90s is summed up by Tommy Girl. I reeked of it 😜
Oh god....as soon as I read "Tommy Girl" I swear I could smell it. Haha. That smell will never leave me. I remember there were so many silly cheap dupes for it. Everyone wanted this perfume!!
I still LOVE Acqua di Gio, I've gone through like 4-5 bottles over the years and still have it in my collection. Though recently, I've begun to enjoy Acqua di Gioia more, I'll always have "Gio" in my collection. So many familiar scents in this video, my friends and I adored Coolwater, Red Jeans and CK1.
Omg Pleasures was my ultimate 90's scent! Still love it! Can you do a range review on the Floral Street line at Sephora? Would really love to hear your thoughts 😊
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Gucci Rush! Oh and Red Jeans, Happy... great memories! Great Job
I still have Sunflowers in my collection from when I was 24 yrs old. Lol. I don’t know if I should still keep it and use it up or throw away. Its still in good condition but I haven’t reached out for it for years. 🤪 I used to have Pleasures. It was nice. I didn’t really know what my favorite scents in the 90s. Most of my perfumes back then were gifted to me. I just started to pick my own favorite perfume in 2009. I guess my most loved perfume was Lauren by Ralph Lauren back in the day.
What about Tribu from Benetton. It was my signature. So so sad they discontinued it.
Great walk down memory lane! I'm thinking of purchasing Organza again...
Interesting video, loved looking back at the oldies but goldies.
In the 90’s, I had an after school job as the perfume representative for CK and Elizabeth Arden in the local PX. Those were some of the best smelling years ever.
Such a fun and nostalgic video! Love Clinique Happy!
Oh it was my fave!!
Cool video!! I requested this one 🥰 exclamation ,cool waters ck1 were my absolute favorite
Revlon Fire and Ice
Soki, This video takes me back to good and fun times, like going back down memory lane. It seems that the vibe at this time was light, uplifting, and aquatic. Thanks for the video and taking me back.
I totally agree I miss the 90s😞
Great selection
During the late 90’s you had the Pleasures girls , Issey Miyake and the CK girls
I was an Acqua di Gio girl :)
Teens and young ladies hated Rush and JPG as anything heavy smelled old to us
As opposed to Acuatics which were the big trend back in the day
We loved our acuatics and our Rachel hair cuts lol
Omg this brings back so many good memories. Wore clinique happy (was the first one I owned).
Tommy girl was huge in my area! Love your videos!
Pleasures, Gucci Rush💖💖💖💖 obsessed in the 90 s!!
Cool Water, Rush, CK One, Happy... all had them! I had one by Liz Claiborne called First if I recall. Escape by Calvin Klein was probably more 80’s...Magie Noire by Lancôme. Great memories! ☺️
My favorite cousin always wore New West for her by Aramis, that smell always made me think of her and vice versa.
Bit of a trip down old memory lane here ha😉Ah good old Red Jeans, remember my sister getting me that one (she was really into her perfumes back then and now it’s the other way round funnily enough)😉 I remember getting Pleasures as a gift too...also loved Romance by Ralph Lauren, still have it in my collection as something in it seems to grab my heart💗Thanks for another great vid Soki😊🌹
I wore Clinique Happy for years, now I can't even smell it without getting offended. It is way to citrus and sharp. I can't handle Pleasures either anymore. Sunflowers as well. I like florientals and more gourmands with vanilla, coffee, caramel, etc. It is funny how your sense of smell changes. I remember when I was young thinking how older women wore such strong perfume. Now I understand. You can't smell anymore!
Cindy Pruitt, I couldn't agree more. I used to wonder why mature women loved strong almost headache inducing fragrances... I thought they wore outdated scents... perhaps now I seem a little old fashioned in my choice of perfume to others...
@@florafleur7108 I know, I probably seem mature now but oh well, I smell good to me.
@@cindypruitt9534 I like stronger scents now but with that fresh twist to them which is kind of I smell good to me also... 😉😉
Poeme by Lancome is still a. Beautiful fragrance and still strong today
I agree. My mum wears it.
I forgot about that.itwas gorgeous..indeed a bottle!
My go to scents in the 90s were liz claiborne sport ,VS Pear Glacé and Cool Water
My all time favourite 90s perfumes were CK One, Tommy Girl, Noa by Cacharel, 1881 Cerruti, Envy Gucci, Naomi Campbell, Vanilla Fields by Coty, All About Eve by Joop, Fleur d´Interdit Givenchy, Fleur d´Eau by Rochas and the gem Eau Belle D´Azzaro :-)
Vanilla Fields made me think I hated vanilla perfumes. I assumed they all smelled horrible like that one so didnt try another vanilla perfume until recently!! Still has to be well blended for me to like it and it's all thanks to Vanilla fields 😂😂
Mugler Angel, Perry Ellis 360, Calvin Klein Escape, Tommy Girl, Hugo Boss woman. Elizabeth Taylor white dimonds, Lancome Poem and Tresor. Issey miyake leau d Issay. My favorites!!!
Hi, I am loving your videos and your opinions! Hugs from Brazil.
You definitely need more credits! I loved your channel and subscribed immediately♥
Aw thank you x
Cacharel's Noa was (is) a masterpiece. Love the cheap and chic Moschino and some of the flankers are great too
Amarige, White Diamonds and white diamonds flankers, Trezor, Ysatis, Majic Noir, Beautiful, Obsession, Red Door, White Linen, Liz Clayborn (in the triangle bottle and the 3 tier bottle, Tribu, Organzo, Chanel, Ms Dior Cherie & Le Parfum, Angel, L'ere du Tent OMG sssoooo many😍🥰🥰🥰
@Love Laura Marie I've had mines for almost 20 years and it still smells the same. I have so many fragrances am I store them properly so I think this is why the original one last so long. I've heard that it's been reformulated so I'm going to hold on to my original half bottle🤗
Great idea for videos...love the decades idea!!!
I remember selling all of these when I was a Clinique counter manager in the late 90's, also remember well the debut of Happy :) I love going down memory lane with fragrances!!!
Sun Moon Stars by Lagerfeld was amazing and it was in the coolest bottle. The bottle itself really captures the zeitgeist of the 90s,imo.
80 and 90 need many reviews all the great perfumes was there
Most nineties fragrances were headache inducing for me. But I used to wear Organza until I broke the bottle. I also like Red Door until I became pregnant, then I couldn't tolerate it, but I do wear it occasionally now.
My favorite was Jil Sander No. 4 edp. I still love it today. It's still around but hard to find. Wore it every day for 20 years. I have some new favs now, but I still have a back up stash of No. 4!
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio and Acqua di Gioia are two completely different fragrances. Acqua di Gio is still available online.
I'm so excited to your March Giveawayyy 😍😍😍
Fun video
Acqua di Gio was my signature scent during the 90’s
I have bought a bottle recently but it’s just not me anymore
Just wanted to pointed out that Acqua di Gioia is not a reformulation but a complete different perfume
And acqua di gio is still available
I just recently picked up Ralph Lauren’s Safari, which I believe was released in the 90s. It’s got a classic style with a strong galbanum note, I really like it.
I still have that cool cut crystal elongated bottle that used to have Safari in it. I use it for travel. Loved Safari back in the day!
Such good memories! One perfume, that I loved and still do is Mackie by Bob Mackie. It's an strong oriental floral scent, that stays with you and wears very well. Don't know if you have tried it, but I have recommend it. Pleasures was my other favorite and it still is to this day as well! My husband loves it on me after 24 years, lol. Thanks for sharing!😊
I was all about Revlon Fire and Ice, Coty Tribe, and both Freesia and Plumeria from Bath and Body Works
Missing is the l'Eau d'Issey that came before Acqua di Gio and had set the trend for oceanic scents... It was and still is an iconic fragnance...
You are am amazing perfume youtuber! I watch almost all of your videos 💕
Aw thank you mila 🥰
Tribe was another 90s perfume that smelt great. Exclamation Eau and Dare were popular too.
For me pleasures used to remind me of my older sister. I used to try & steal it when I was in high school. But she always caught me !😂👍 The Gucci Rush was one of my first perfumes I was gifted 🎁 with when I was like 18 ! Used to looooove💓 that !!
Sun Moon and Stars was my absolutely fav. Fragrance. I still have three bottle so actual perfume. Only a drop needed! I was so upset when it was discontinued.
I love Clinique Happy…makes me happy! My patients always love it as well- light and fresh!
I used to have I love love cheap n chic from Moschino (very similr to D&G light blue), Ralph lauren the orange one, Lacoste inspiration, Estee lauder paradise, Kenzo eau dete, Calvin klein in2u and the green one from the One, Donna karan delicious... . Good old times!
From the nineties era I wore Monsoon monsoon, which was my absolute favourite. I haven't smelled anything like that before or since and I wish I could find something like it. It had the aquatic notes like cool water, but it was darker, more intriguing, more sensual (as I recall anyway) I also had Chipie Cool Spell, and that smelled very much like Ghost Deep night, just a younger, less heavy version, Nina Ricci's les belles de ricci, Versace baby rose jeans, and CK One.
There were a couple of cheap body sprays I was obsessed with as well - Panache by Taylor of London, which was orange, lemon and jasmine, and then oakmoss and myrrh, I think, reminded me a lot of cacharel anais anais, and Impulse O2 and temptation, the scent of which I still love so much I could bathe in it. They have discontinued that one now.
I love Happy even today. I loved Casmir by Chopard, Tressor, and Aqua de Gio in the 90s. Also loved Victoria by Victoria Secret.
I wore Organza by Givenchy.
All of these actually sound really good
Thanks for doing this; it was so enjoyable. Can't wait to see your other videos in this series. I was a kid for most of the 90s, not even a teenager, so I didn't wear perfume then. My first was DKNY Be Delicious in my 20s. But I did have a vial of Exclamation from someone at some point and I remember Red Jeans.
Memory lane. I was a young mother then. Estee Lauder, Clinique Happy, and Calvin Klein...I remember them all. My friends and I loved Crabtree and Evelyn. I don't know if they are still around but they had small boutique stores (in the U.S.) and some great fragrances.
OHH how i WISH I could go back to the Early 90s😄😄😄 YESS!! TFS 🌺Blessings you 🙌 be safe doll🥴
Another very interesting video! If you would like to, can you make a video on how to care for the perfumes once brought home please? (Should I really display them on the desk or tuck them away in the dark? Temperature, shake or not to shake...etc)
Thank you! Basically the thing which degrades perfume is sunlight. If they’re in the dark they last decades 👍
@@SokiLondon RUclips didn't notify me that you've replied! Ahh! Thank you for the tips Soki :)
Noa Cacharel, Dolce Vita Dior were my picks all this years ago.. :) x
I wore Clinique Happy, Pleasures, CK One, Polo Sport Ralph Lauren and some Abercrombie and Fitch perfumes and more I'm sure but those I remember. I still wear Pleasures today. I also wore Tommy Girl but that may have been in the early 00's when I was in college.
My first real perfume purchase was Gucci Rush. I went to my local pharmacy with my sister and I bought it. It was a big deal for me as it was quite a bit of money. I think it came with a lotion which I didn't use. I was in high school back then and I felt so sexy and cool wearing this. Oh the memories ;)
I really enjoyed Pleasures! By the way Gio is pronounced like Jo in englisch. I like you and your videos very much! Regards from Switzerland!
🥰🥰
I would watch your videos no matter what you talked about lol. You are just so pleasant. "Fresh & uplifting," works for you as well as the fragrances. 🤗
Wow, thank you!
@@SokiLondon 🌹
I would love a review on Revlon Fire and Ice!
@ Sophie. DAVIDOFF has lovely flankers of "cool water" the 2019 edition is good. Cool water & sunflowers are timeless fragrances & they are still popular.
In the 90's they re-launched the 1970's Chanel Cristalle, I remember Claudia Schiffer was the face. It reached a younger audience so lots of women my age (44) have been wearing it since we were 14! It's funny when I read reviews saying it smells old fashioned, to me it smells modern and young! The other one that came out in the 90's and is a bit of a forgotten master piece was Guerlain's Champs Elysees. And then the very important Cacharel ones! Every girl had one of these: Eden, LouLou or Anais Anais. We always though LouLou made you pull on a night out!
My favorite 90s perfume was Victorias Secret Pear Glacé. Second was Sunflowers. I also remember one called Samba. Then it was also bath and body works Sun ripened raspberry. I also loved skin musk. My aunt wore Oscar de La Renta and it smelled beautiful on her.
Chanel Allure, moscino cheap, pleasures and Kenzo amour where mine.
I have jean Paul gaultier classique. Cool waters & Gucci Rush. I still love & wear all three.
Hynotic poison which despite owing over 100 perfumes this is still mu signature scent after 20 years. I currently have 2 bottles of this and my next fav the Eau de Parfum. I also own poison, poison girl EDT, and edp and must get a pure poison as that's adorable too. I regret I never owned a midnight or tendre. As you can see I am a massive Christian Dior fan. My other favs are dolche vita, dune, dioressence, and Dior addict the blue bottle vanilla bombshell. I never owned a miss cherie or midnight charm but wished I had. I'm beyond dissapointed Dior discontinue their most iconic perfumes. J'adore is overly advertised and poisons dont get any attention. Just wrong. Bring back miss cherie!
Emporio Lei for her from Armani! And Acqua di gio for her. I couldnt get enough from both. I used Emporio more for clubbing tho 😊
Lolita lempicka since 90s one of my favorite perfume.
My favorite 90s perfumes were Exclamation, bob Mackey, Mambo, pleasures,Armoni she, addidas, baby soft,Tommy girl, beautiful, puma, green tea, curvesoul, Bora Bora, vanilla Fields , Jovan musk, and MANY others I can't think of now😂😂but these are a few of my favorites.tfa😄
Omg i completely forgot about gucci rush. What a throw back
CK ONE was what put Kate Moss on the map and started the whole "Heroine Chic" as the press named it, model. The 80s and early 90s were coming off the tail of glamazonian Supermodels, who were athletic and very womanly, Kate started the grunge period of modeling.
Versace red jeans use to be my fave perfume jpg was my auntys signature scent
I love Ck One and Vanilla Fields
My first perfume as a young lady was Aqua di Gio . Then i had Versace jeans for 15 years . Gio perfume is my eternal love .
