  • EDIT: Look at that beard. Heck yeah.
Anywho, after enough time I've actually gathered the names of everyone sitting with Glen here thanks to all the awesome people in the comments!
From left to right, The Host - Michael Parkinson, The Legend - Glen Campbell, The Comedy Writer - Jeremy Lloyd, The Comedian - Billy Connolly
Really a solid group of guests who, to the surprise of some, actually have some pretty great chemistry! I can definitely recommend watching the full interview linked in this description, a second episode of the show with all of them would've been awesome!
Really, thanks for watching, talking with fellow Glen fans in the comments has been great!
    Original Description:
So this definitely isn't my normal kind of upload, and I'll definitely be back on something more my style tomorrow, but this performance from Glen has been living in my head completely rent-free for nearly a month now, and the video I found it on doesn't even mention that he played these things in the title, and if you ask me this is the star of the show right here, not the performance of Rhinestone Cowboy he did with an entire band, this is where it is at man, just Glen and his guitar. I love it so much, check out that near impeccable hybrid picking, or the amazing little triad licks he does, or a certain little Jerry Reed lick you might recognize from another certain little banger of Glen's, also a little bit of jump cuts because why not to capture the humor of this little talk show thing, I really recommend watching the full thing if you find yourself enjoying this as much as I did, it's a nice little talk show thing and they talk about some neat stuff, just wish they talked more about how he learned guitar, getting into gypsy jazz and discovering Django as his guitar master, but whaddya gonna do!
We still got just Glen and his guitar! It's always either in the church or on a british broadcast like this lol
Welp, I think I've rambled enough for this, editing this made me think what if I did more RUclips nonsense with Glen to capture more of his comedic side, idk, that's for another day, let's just enjoy this great little thing for now.
Also, what the heck is that solo from anyways?!? Kinda sounds like Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives To Me, but I think I would recognize it more if that was the case, because man, is that a hell of a song.
    Love it.
Oh yeah, here's this link to the original video lol: • Glen Campbell Sings "R...
    From the distant year 1981.
    Love ya Glen.

One I knew of was frank Sinatra when he recorded. Strangers in the night. Also Glen was a fill in with the beach boys for a short time I think it was during time that Brian had stopped performing. Glen was such a versatile artist that could play classical to Spanish guitar and his collaboration with Jimmy Webb produced many of well known songs. And even through he had a wild times during the Tanya tucker Era. And certain times he had a little trouble. He never lost his moral background from his being brought up in good faith and family.

@@davidgarratt3508 yeah all of my teens and 15 plus years of my adult life was about heavy metal for the most part and sometimes the "outlaws" of country music so i didn't bother with anyone who had class AND talent like so many in country music posses.

Hah! I remember being in that position! Started digging through all sorts of old interviews with him, man have I found some gems in the process. All began by being amazed that there is footage out there with Glen completely alone with no backing playing his guitar! Instantly was hungry FOR MORE.
      So, the digging began!
It's really just a huge plus and amazing to see I'm now sharing it with other people as crazy for this man as I! As well as sharing it with more guitarists who don't think of Glen as truly a stellar guitarist like he was up there with the likes of Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed, he was just too dang good at singing! It took all the spotlight man! Those big orchestrations and stuff, NAH, I'M HERE FOR DAT NITTY GRITTY HEHEH! Love it! Wish his guitar got more spotlight like Jerry's did. Really man.
Thanks for commenting! You're right, it's one thing to dominate on guitar, it's another to have a UNSTOPPABLE ear that could pick up melodies with one playthrough, it's RIDICULOUS TO HAVE A GOLDEN SINGING VOICE MADE FOR THE HARDEST OF POWER BALLADS ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT.
Truly a man born with TOO MUCH talent, and I'm here for it.
      Thanks for commenting!

Billy Connelly used to look like the unholy love child of Charles Manson and John Cleese. I say this a big fan of Mr. Connelly’s later roles.
