Bingo acts just like how I did when I was her age and I'm also autistic so it's nice to see that other people realized that lol

As a 17 yr old autistic, my friend told me about bluey. It is so cute and has such a good message, it’s sad they banned so many episodes in the USA though. No harm in teaching kids good tools and self importance.

If someone told young me I would be relating to a 4yo cartoon dog at age 35. I would have laughed at them.
Then I hit the episode about Bingo finding her voice, and remembered doing the exact same thing.
I was never diagnosed but mom once told me she regretted not taking me in to be checked. So I still don't actually know if I am autistic, but it would explain a lot.

fellow autistic here! i recently binge watched all of bluey and after watching some other videos on the series this video was recommended to me. you perfectly put into words all of my feelings on bingo and the autistic traits she shows. i'm happy to hear that other people feel the same way i do and love her character. ♡ i'm glad that young neurodivergent kids have such a great character to relate and look up to, i wish bingo and bluey as a whole was something i could have watched growing up.

That semi-verbald scene really hit hard. Diagnost autist here. I am an adult in my early thirties but still struggle almost every day with being non verbal when stressed, exhausted, slept bad or not enough or simply when getting overwhelmed by noise, smell, light, crowds, visual noise or emotions. It's like my brain shuts off the ability to speak.

the new episode "surprise" makes me think the writers actually did intend this all along -- considering bluey steps in as the tennis ball's sister at the end of that one scene.

I honestly feel like Frank, Chloe's dad, showed more signs of being autistic, but I am glad you could see these things in Bingo and that you related to her the way you did.

making random noises instead of actually talking about whatever I should probably be talking about

Me and my older brother both have autism and I see myself and my brother in both Bluey and Bingo. Both characters give off autistic traits which is so cool to see (even if their autism is not confirmed) because you don't see a lot of autistic characters as some of them are merely headcanons or very hurtful stereotypes *cough* *cough* music *cough* *cough*.

My brother and I used to bicker all the time about one of us being an Autisticus pseudosentiens rather than a Homo sapiens. He'd constantly belittle me, act as a superior rather than a peer, and even antagonise me to amuse himself and our now-transsexual sister, who is also offically an Autisticus pseudosentiens. But who acts much more like an Autisticus autisticus.

I think some of the autistic signs were part of childhood in general
