Most likely you’ve got a blown head gasket and oil is getting into the combustion chamber. Mower engines can run for years with a blown head gasket tho so it’s probably not something you gotta deal with anytime soon. Just really annoying and you might notice the smoke coming more frequently and the engine becoming less powerful over time.
Engine can be replaced for cheaper than a new mower tho. just FYI you probably could (ahem) Use Watcha Got to replace it 😁 not much in the way of special tools needed

Might have to look into that at some point! You are probably right but those zero turns do look nice!

3 hours to mow an acre? 😳

yyyyeeaaaahhhh so, it had been raining and the grass hadn't been cut in 2 weeks. Also, area 4 is literally the thickest grass in my yard, and it is the only place the grass starts piling up, so I end up having the ride really slow over it so the mower doesnt shut off because it can not handle the cut. I am assuming 3 hours is bad. I think with a good zero turn, I could probably cut it in an hour/hour and a half.

@@UseWhatchaGot with a zero turn you should be able to knock out the mowing in 40 minutes

Thank you! I appreciate that. At some point I may do an updated one. On a good day with dry grass, i have gotten my cut time to under an hour and a half. But still a lot of other things to do!
