Do you do zoom appointments???? I’m in Australia and I just spent 3 years trying learn to do my 2c\3a curls. The “specialists” here post pics of women with overgelled curls and I can do my hair like that myself all limp and droopy. Australia also doesn’t have much curly hair products, I’ve been thinking recently maybe I could pay an American specialist cause you guys actually make curly hair look amazing and natural not full of product.

By the end of the week (7days), it be the best! I think 2 weeks would be perfect for my hair. But still idk it's just unhygienic in my opinion 🥲😅
Do you have hard water where you live? Perhaps trying a hydrating mask regularly, and sticking to sulfate free or co washes once a week and only clarifying every month or two? Also a regular trim would prob help keep the spilt ends from travelling up your hair shaft. All the best with you hair xx

HELP!! My boyfriend has Afro hair. It puffs out and stays up or is super tight curls. No natural part. He struggles with maintaining it... Any advice on products he can use to help with the fuzz. Also would it be worth it to get him a silk pillow case??
Clarify once a month, I use a brand called “mixed chicks” on my sons hair (and mine) and it’s amazing. After you do that, make sure to get a moisture mask, I use shea moisture with the Manuca honey in it for us. Then I co-wash our hair a couple times a week (we’re mixed though so this may not be necessary for your bf depending on his hair, we have fine hair). In between, I just use a spray bottle with a little oil and conditioner mixed in to refresh the girls. A nightcap with an inner silk lining for myself, I don’t do silk pillow cases, but you can. For my son, I brush it and braid it into four dookie braids at night and then undo them, spray and brush his hair out in the morning for school. Then I put Cantù shea moisture leave in conditioner in it. It’s a lot, but it’s worth it 😅

Yes @ silk, get satin durags or loc sock to sleep in for him and watch black hair care videos for men.
Try twisting creams they help define curls and keep moisture in. Also look up loc method to maintain hair
