Nice start of what will become an series! I've barely played any of those 1st year games besides Ghouls & Ghosts and Revenge of Shinobi! I only got my console when Sonic 1 was packed in with it so I've played more games on that system in the later years! Can't wait to see Year 2! Great video and keep up the good work!

I personally didn't own a Genesis at launch but my best friend had it. I remember playing games such as Altered Beast, Last Battle, and E-Swat. I loved Sports games and loved Lasorda's baseball, Buster Douglas Boxing, and Joe Montana Football (Which resembled Madden). My favorite game to play was Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion.

My best friend had the SNES and I had the Genesis so I can relate. Castle of Illusion is amazing!

I learned alot . I never have gotten into space harrier because the 3d style but the music is great. I loved the master system music alot more .
Forgotten worlds is a classic

Did you ever play Space Harrier in the arcade? That version is pretty sweet imo. Forgotten Worlds is sooo good.

I thought Truxton and Golden Axe also came out December 1989. Golden Axe in particularly barely made it in time for Christmas of that year.

Would of loved one from 1989 I had to wait till 1992 I was still playing c64 sega on c64 not good 🤢😂 o boy super hang on love that game great video thumbs up 🙂👍
