Okay so GFriend has a storyline. But cutting in short for u, they are innocent girls that were gifted with powers, but they grow jealous of each other and started fighting, until most of them died, there is when one of the members go back on time with the help of the blue butterfly to try to save her friends and maintain their glass beads (that represents each person) clear, however she understands that even if their glass beads aren't transparenta but red (it's a representation of them becoming proud, full of self confidence and grow up woman, in the storyline represented as witches) they are still together and that's what's matter more.
It's also a way to express that being pure, inocente and good just for the sake of others is not all correct, but being real to own selves and love all the parts of our person is what matters more, this is something huge because GFriend music and history talks about the growing up, their music changed with their age.

the song is generally about temptation. aside from the witch concept, the apple imagery is a reference to the story of genesis’s adam and eve. the girls co-wrote this song themselves with a few collaborators. wishing for them to have a comeback in the future, they were gone too early

Gfriend comes from such a small company but they were able to compete with other girl groups from big companies and also be able to enter the top 5 of the 3rd gen girl groups known as TREBELMAYEO (twice, red velvet, blackpink, mamamoo, yeojachingu/gfriend)

please more gdriend!!! they're queens of synchronization, and their vocals are superb. their older songs are more innocent/pure, some people call it "white aegyo" concept. they were just starting the road of this more mature concept when they unfortunately disbanded

I got into them a bit before this era and I think this was my first comeback if I remember correctly. So sad I got into them so late and then bam they disbanded. I like the mellow/dark humour lyricism, instruments, and artistry, and I find kpop (mainly SM groups) a nice counterpoint to that, more so than just pop, for the experimental production, relatively incidental or silly lyrics 😅 and the shebang of concepts, outfits, lore, choreo, high budget MVs, all that. I feel that you guys get that, hence we share a like for aespa and NCT 😂
