The show wasn't about "nothing" -- it was about "life". Many of the issues we ourselves deal with over our lifetimes. Not stupid jokes like so many other sitcoms, but actual life experiences portrayed in extremely witty dialog by very talented (especially George & Kramer) actors.

Season 3 is my personal favorite, imo. It still has a cozy vibe to it while poking fun at the mundane and minutiae of life while giving it a fun spin. It also has a handful of classic, strong episodes.

It really made my day happier. I live in Bali, things are getting harder during pandemic, tourism places were closed and my business got affected badly. Today am waiting for the good news that our president will finally stop the lockdown but it seems like it is not gonna happen. Today is also Eid Adha which is one Hari Raya in islam. And i am sitting here with a big hope and prays for better future for all of us. . was beginning to cry but i stumbled into this old favorite comedy show and oh...i laughed totally bursting out loud when i saw Kramer. That rental car thing is so on point. My least favorite thing is when they try to tell you that a mid-size car is a full-size car. I know that there are not many full size cars anymore but they don't just get to change a car's classification all willy nilly.
It took Seinfeld and Curb your enthusiasm for people to realize he was a genius. Jason told a story of him disagreeing with a scene. He said there is no way anyone would believe something so crazy could happen in real life. Larry's reply " it happened to me. " He is definitely 1 of a kind.
Some people like seasons 4 and 5. Some like 7. Some like 8 and 9. I personally loved season 3. So many memorable episodes. "The Note," "The pen", The boyfriend. The best of comedy
I hate that TBS doesn't show the reruns in the mornings anymore. They replaced with the awful George Lopez sitcom. They show Seinfeld late at night sometimes and wait until Saturday morning or afternoon to have mini marathons of it.
I'm rewatching seinfeld after all these years and realizing that season 3 is actually one of the better seasons. Much less random and silly and the characters were realistic
Absolutely. Season 2, 3, 4, 5 are absolutely brilliant. Season 1 is different but I like it. Season 6 and 7 are still very good, but the characters are getting a bit too crazy, George is just screaming a lot, not nearly as neurotic and subtle as in the first seasons. Season 8 and 9 are better than other sitcoms but really bad compared to 2-5.

What many Executives thought this 'daring read that as stupid move' would end Seinfeld. Like a Seinfeld episode, the EXACT opposite occurred. This timeslot change sent Seinfeld into the stratosphere in the US market, and a year later, the rest of the world. The same exact thing allegedly happened to The Big Bang Theory.
I'd like to hear from the writing team about this: Why didn't we see or at least hear more about the character of George's brother? According to one RUclips user, George mentioned his brother only one other time during the run of the show (Season 3, "The Suicide").
