It’s not even so much that this is Conroy’s last role but this is the ‘send off’ to all those years of Arkham games I happily grew up with? It’s what got me into Batman and DC.

They should've probably made it where the entire justice league is under brainiacs control except for Batman and made it where batman has to stop the justice league and brainiac. (Kinda like arkham origins where you have to stop the assassins)

It’s a shame. Rocksteady had such a great gameplay winning formula with their stealth. Sure there are other stealth games but you were Batman who doesn’t kill so his stealth mechanics had to be more creative. So many great Arkham characters for follow up stories but they just use the overused Suicide Squad. Also, Wonder Woman can resist mind control but Batman, who’s known for his absolute mental fortitude, loses himself to it?? WHAT? He was diseased with Joker in his mind AND scarecrow’s toxin but with _sheer willpower_ CURED himself at the end of Knight by locking Joker forever away. But he can’t resist mind control. I remember the leaks of Batman's death a couple of months ago. There were people claiming these leaks were fake and Ai-generated, a part of me wanted to believe that because I doubted the people behind the project hated the Arkham series, its fanbase, Batman and Kevin Conroy THAT much with the most anticlimactic, unrealistic and disrespectful way to sendoff the one to thank for making their pathetic mess of a game possible in the first place, that I simply refused to believe it was real. That makes this so much worse and also at the same time just leave so many questions especially about the little girl Poison Ivy. Why do these companies need the feeling to connect these into the same universe when they are going to completely botch it and make these God awful decisions. They're afraid of men being heroic and masculine batman is the epitomy of this, and what they did to peter was egregious they took a beloved friendly character who always did the right thing and made sacrifices to help others into a weakling who gets shafted in his own series for a character that is divisive and a manly mary jane who they doubled down on despite negative feed back.
Arkham Knight ended with Bruce Wayne presumed dead after initiating the Knightfall protocol, thats the ending that I know of. Whatever this is, best believe I aint buying it.

Yuup! When I heard there was another Arkham game coming out after the joke that is Arkham Knights, I just shook my head. I knew. Of course it was only ever going to be garbage. And beyond that, woke garbage as the whole motif is the obvious "Kill the Justice League", i.e. the woke taking over. If Brainiac could've mind-controlled the Justice League, he would've done it from the start. If they were going to do something like this, I would've rather seen the compromised League fight their Earth-3 counterparts. The Suicide Squad is a collection of second-rates that would never stand a chance because they never have against the League.

Three of the squad are ordinary humans. In the time it took them to figure out what was even going on, he could've killed all 3 of them the same way. King Shark would be a classic Arkham City takedown from above, strung and hung, and then carved up like a fish. Probably take Batman less than 30 seconds, if that.

It’s 100% just a cash grab and it’s just a 3rd failed reboot of Suicide Squad ruined once again. Why do these companies need the feeling to connect these into the same universe when they are going to completely botch it and make these God awful decisions. Just keep it separate, why hurt something that is so precious already. And why did they make a Suicide Squad game when the portrayal in the movies was horrible and not received well to begin with? So many questions….what would have been great is if this was a Batman game since it was Kevin Conroy’s last game and make it where he VS the Justice League because he is the one that isn’t taken under mind control similar to the plot in the animated film Justice League: Doom.
Anyways love your input and hearing your passion about this man. I hope more people speak up about this topic as well that it isn’t acceptable.
Agreed man it's truly a tragedy well said, and indeed a solo batman game where he takes on the Justice League would've been far better imo just like Justice League doom , could've been a cool introduction to the Justice League but in the end we all know why this game exist, to push agendas and cash in at the expense of Arkham, and the only reason they're pushing the suicide squad so hard is for esg reasons in the end of the day

@@jenpachi2408 Overall I’ve never even liked the Squad. Just an overall bleh concept. Not counting the shit movies. I feel this thing is just a long overdue cash grab on the popularity of it. It’s pretty obvious between both the shitty writing, how easy Batman is to end, and the fact Deadshot isn’t even the Deadshot we know from the games this supposedly follows. To just acknowledge this game’s existence is to basically make every Arkham game moot. I’d rather play Gotham Knights, and that’s a sad statement.

I'm glad you can enjoy the game but with this story there's zero chance I'll be playing this or giving my money to rocksteady as far as gameplay goes the games as a service repetitive model looks terrible to me not to mention the disrespect to Arkham and all the other heroes in this game.
Crazy to think this game was made by one of the greatest 7th gen devs.

We already got three PHENOMENAL titles in the Batman Arkham Series.
Social politics took over just after Arkham Knight released and the ENTIRE entertainment industry is affected.
It doesn't matter that they bastardized the Batman character and made Harley Quinn kill him. These stories are so badly written and simply claiming to be in the same universe as the Arkham games isn't going to take anything away from the Arkham Series.
Today's greenlit writers have no talent to follow an established world which is why all the rules of the established "universe" no longer matter when they are responsible for writing the so called "sequels". Multiverse are the smoking gun for incompetent writing.

Yuup! When I heard there was another Arkham game coming out after the joke that is Arkham Knights, I just shook my head. I knew. Of course it was only ever going to be garbage. And beyond that, woke garbage as the whole motif is the obvious "Kill the Justice League", i.e. the woke taking over. If Brainiac could've mind-controlled the Justice League, he would've done it from the start. If they were going to do something like this, I would've rather seen the compromised League fight their Earth-3 counterparts. The Suicide Squad is a collection of second-rates that would never stand a chance because they never have against the League.

Three of the squad are ordinary humans. In the time it took them to figure out what was even going on, he could've killed all 3 of them the same way. King Shark would be a classic Arkham City takedown from above, strung and hung, and then carved up like a fish. Probably take Batman less than 30 seconds, if that.
