Hey brotha I’m with you on that 24 is going to be wild I can’t wait to burst into the scene with you boys! Might have to see caylormade motorsports to get my girl SNO dyno tuned
Dude Your valves being tight is the biggest thing that robbed power from. You. I race bikes and when my bike slowed down, we checked the valves and that bitch flew all over again!!
The book calls for .0028-.0059 in. for intake side and .0063-.0094 in. for exhaust. Definitely too tight on exhaust. I can see where performance was lost due to this issue. The book also calls for valve lash inspection every 15,000 mi. I'm a old school GS guy that checked those rocker arms waay sooner than that, so these new bikes are really something! I just turned 4,000 mi on my 2021 and have not yet had the cam cover off. Great video, ty!
Excellent information. I am about to do the 7500 mile service on my GSXR 1000R. You also did the “service” on your health by losing weight, it will keep you riding and enjoying life longer. 👊🏽💥
Get all black hardware for the swing arm and axle bolt & chain tensioner bolts . That little detail will make the bat even better . They have a gold axle nut and block or go with the lighttec or the bonacimi ones
Yo those spark plugs are different, I seen when Mike posted about those made me think about switching myself for the 10R. Hey like Brock preaches the devil’s in the details, lol. Weight is huge in the roll game, that’s awesome you were able to get your weight down good brutha, I’m on that same quest. Yo respect bro, this actually illustrates what Mikes been saying as far as staying on top of your maintenance especially when it’s your daily, thanks for this bro. Keep pushing
Loving the content and I’m super glad you got the 10whp back because that title had me sad!! Did you ever change the rear sprocket or did you end up keeping the oem size??
Too early for another Atlanta boy to ask about the 2024 Dude Mungus meet up weekend lol. Sad I missed the last one this past year with work but I'm bringing a different one of my GSXR's each day this time and looking to "chill" with you guys. Enjoying the content, let's gooooooooooo. 😉
Some thing you may not know. in the service manual there is a section in the maintenance on spark plugs and they sell a hotter and colder plug depending on your results. it actually states to change the plugs based on conditions. this WILL give you that 1% error that you are seeing on the Dyno. i don't believe the plug is capable of a better flamefront in the cylinder .
Well you would have to follow my channel to know the entire story. I purchased my bike new from a dealer which came with a service warranty through 7500 miles ( the dealer did my 7500 service) So my current shop didn’t service my bike intilk 15k miles We trusted the dealer to do what was needed at 7500 miles . My current shop did adjust my valve at the 15k mark which I’m at now. Sounds like you may have missed that part
@DudeMungus Thats how you learn my man,I had a chain break at 130mph it hit my leg and did alot of damage to bike and i remembered revzilla guy saying he preferred lose chains ,i learned the hard way
Nah I appreciate the suggestion though. I am more than happy with the shop I have here plus they are 15mins from my house. It’s hard to beat local. My shop has a very unique background as does Moore. But my shop Caylor made fits more of my riding style/vibe. Together we’ve built something freakin awesome with this platform.
My bike goes 200mph+ on Demand Moore is great but my local shop is absolutely amazing..... all dyno don't read the same We have another local shop that reads 10-12 hp over my shop with no other changes to the bike So Numbers aren't important. how the bike runs is key 🦾🦾🦾
10whp is a lot on a bike I’m happy that you gotta it back dial in and you can represent the Suzuki GSXR platform well, see you in the new year brotha!
Yessir absolutely 💯 i appreciate 24’ well definitely be different. Let’s show what this platform can do
Hey brotha I’m with you on that 24 is going to be wild I can’t wait to burst into the scene with you boys! Might have to see caylormade motorsports to get my girl SNO dyno tuned

Yessir absolutely I appreciate you. It is like a brand new bike. I’m freakin excited about it
Dude
Your valves being tight is the biggest thing that robbed power from. You. I race bikes and when my bike slowed down, we checked the valves and that bitch flew all over again!!

Absolutely beautiful bike. Yellow and black looks dope. I wanted my hayabusa blue but they don't make 'em, this sort of gives me ideas now

Good information thank you 🙏🏾…….. living down south I’m sure that gonna be extremely useful thank you
That bike is looking great!
Its interesting that your shop did not check/adjust (if needed) the valves at the 15K mark, and sync the throttle bodies.

Have you ever thought about chris moore, he could help you and do a video there,
Nah I appreciate the suggestion though. I am more than happy with the shop I have here plus they are 15mins from my house. It’s hard to beat local.

@DudeMungus makes sense i do local too,I saw brock get over 200 at the wheel on a gixxer
What spark plugs did you used ?
Sounds like you need to visit Chris Moore. Moore Mafia he has had GsxR 1000”s hitting over 190hp I think
My bike goes 200mph+ on Demand
Moore is great but my local shop is absolutely amazing..... all dyno don't read the same
We have another local shop that reads 10-12 hp over my shop with no other changes to the bike
So Numbers aren't important. how the bike runs is key 🦾🦾🦾
Switch to a euro bike if u want power, handling and looks
Lol
Euro bike got all the power
What plugs did you used?
You should be making 200 with those mods 😂
You know every dyno reads different.... 200 is the magical ✨️ number
Exhaust, airfilter, stacks, & tune I have you're basic everyday modifications
Nice
🦾🦾🦾
How you get a yellow 1000r ?
My G, are the tires part of Merch? Possible to order some and have them shipped to Kenya? 🇰🇪 Hit me up if so. Asante
Tirestickers.com is where I get them from. Tell’em Dude_mungus sent you 🦾🦾🦾
Dude Mungus? Did I hear correct? Did you say you replaced the engine?
You are very mistaken. Nothing about the engine was replaced. …….. The motor on the velocity Stacks was replaced. Not the motor of the bike
@@DudeMungus😅noted! Good stuff bro
