Just bought this for when the world allows me to ride again! And hopefully when it warms up a bit more. Seems a well made jacket and sizing is spot on. I’m 5’10 and a 42 chest and the large is spot on. 👍
It's a nice jacket for warm weather - I've had mine for a year now and my only criticism would be that the velcro on the cuffs is a bit anaemic - it doesn't grip very well and the cuffs have a tendency to come undone. If you wear your gloves over the sleeves it's not a problem, but in summer you will normally want short gloves so the loose velcro can be annoying. I find I have to make sure I am overlapping the velcro tab along its full length and pressing down firmly to keep the wrist closure from coming undone. Not a major gripe, but something Rev-it could easily fix by using better velcro!
I found a brown Eclipse at a shop in Thailand and knew immediately it was the right one for me. Fit was great (I'm 6'2"/187cm, bought an L), it had all the necessary venting, and looked sharp. I've been riding with it for over a year now, and it still looks pretty new. I rarely need a heavier jacket in this climate, but do have a heavy all-leather one for the rare cold day or night. I tried a couple of mesh textile jackets that were lighter than this one, but they just didn't feel like they'd hold up as well in a fall. Good value.
A touring journey... Through Spain. Hmmm if only! In Australia our tours are either New Zealand or the endless nothingness of outback oz. You Brits are lucky you have Europe so close to explore on two wheels.
Have this jacket since two years - urban riding in hot summer days. Great airflow, very light and equipped with high level protectors - I've added back protector from Revi't. Only have one problem with this jacket - it's chocking me! Seriously! I have size XL (L was to tight in shoulders) and when I ride jacket "moves" backward and chockes me - have no idea why it happens? Back protector is to heavy? Or maybe the neck on this jacket is to big? In Your presentation (1:40) we can see that there is plenty of room around Your neck - thats OK when You are not riding but on moto it starts to move back and pushes on throat. Any solution to this problem?
Hi. Thank you for your feedback, it might be a case that it will vary depending on the individual as we have not heard such a feedback about them. Maybe a thinner back protector would solve the issue? all the best - Iza
Got the green one and it’s a great Jacket BUT the real amazing thing was the service I got from UR. I messed up the day before heading to Spain and UR bailed me out. I feel I got £130 worth of service and a free jacket.
Hi Craig. We recommend having a closer look at the detailed size guide for this item that can be found here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-eclipse-jacket-black.html Hope this helps! - Iza
Hi Emmanuel! There few different colours that the Eclipse jacket comes in - there is a brown, dark green, silver, black and dark blue. You can see them all here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=eclipse
Hi Steve! I recommend looking at a size guide on the product page for this. It can be found under the "size guide" tab: www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-eclipse-jacket-brown.html
If the GT R air 2 fits me well in XL should I get an XL in this jacket as well or size down to L since it's a 'touring fit'? I like my jackets on the more slim fitting side, with the XL GTR air 2 just a hair loose from what I'd prefer in terms of taper. 43" chest.
Hi Ron - it's tough to be sure, you're in-between sizes. If you're not planning on wearing much underneath, the L might be a nice snug fit. If you want to leave open the option for layering, then perhaps taking the XL would be more comfortable. We do free exchanges and returns to the UK mainland.

I'm a scrawny 6'3" dude and I needed an XL for the arm and overall length to correctly fit.
What arm and leg length are you? I'm 6'2" w/ 30" waist , 36" chest, and ~32-33" inseam. I reckon I'll need a large.
5'11 40 chest and medium is excellent, even with the added back protector.
Thank you, my exact dimensions
Thank you
Thanks for the info!

what is the different between the mesh and the normal jacket?
Hi Chinh, the mesh jackets are much more breathable but that also makes them not waterproof. Hope this helps - Iza
I'm 5'8 180 with 40in chest. Would you recommend a large or medium? I see some reviews say go a size up.
If you're just going to wear a t-shirt underneath, a Medium would probably be fine!

@@UrbanRiderlondon since when? And will that be for all Revit products or just their cheaper range?
i also found it odd it doesnt include their own seesoft armor. is the knox supposed to be better?
How do you clean these jackets?
Good question
Good review! 5'6; 160; 40 chest; 30 waist. Do you recommend a medium or small?
Small might be quite snug, but you aren't really going to layer up too much underneath, so might be ok!
