Yet another Korean ad campaign that is way cooler than any we have in the UK. These companies are all around the world, why can't they replicate them in other countries?
I'm really enjoying imagining how it would go down if it were tried in the US. Half the customers wouldn't be able to get close enough to the walls to grab a hand hold and the other half would start screaming about lawyers at the top of their lungs. PLEASE do it in the US!!!

I'm not saying that I'm not a victim of marketing myself or that I often end up defining my value through the things I own, instead of who I am. But this sickens me. It sickens me when I do it and it sickens me when others do it. But most of all, it sickens me that it's someone's job to come up with it... Let's suppose that you work a shitty job over at NorthFace. That you hate your boss, that you spend 1/3 of your day doing someone else's job. Then, you go home and see the same shitty company advertising to you happiness in a product. That's what I hate.
What? They needed a jacket anyways and they were already on the wall. There was barely any risk of them getting injured. What's wrong with this? The North Face nailed it!
lol, it's not about risk of injury It's about the marketing trick. The ad. In what fun way they present to us a product that was not made in a fun way. And much more, it won't fill any void in our lives. They advertise happiness, yet they just sell you a jacket.

Whatever one may think about the merits of the strategy used to promote their product, it took a lot of work to pull it off. I’ve worked on numerous projects for South Korean clients; my view is that South Korea punches globally well above its weight in manufacture and marketing.
